Maybe she didn't want to disclose her full/actual name to the public due to safety reasons. People are crazy, if I was a YT blogger I wouldn't disclose my full name it's a scary world out there...that's just my thought on this subject

Maybe she never changed it on her drivers license or medical stuff. I still have things with my maiden name.

Melissa Lanning isn't her maiden name though, Hollister is. I don't understand what the problem is?

Because there are a lot of things that we have seen that have said "Hollister, Melissa" and that is one reason why a lot of people don't think they got remarried.

I thought I can remember them remarrying April Fools Day 2009? Not sure why..
Either way, her name is Melissa Hollister-Lanning, Lanning gets cut off sometimes so they have put JUST Hollister so it doesn't look weird, because it's such a long name.

The ultrasound says Lanning, Melissa.

Could that be because she told them to put it that way, or was that her name at the time?

I think at her doctor she uses Hollister so she can use her parents' insurance. This was an elective US that they paid for so she used Lanning. Not sure which is her real last name though. Probably Hollister.

somehow I doubt she went through the effort of changing her name back after they divorced. Unless she never did the paperwork to change her name in the first place. That's probably why they both use Hollister-Lanning, cuz neither of them actually changed their name.

I'm guessing that's the case. I don't think you could get away with lying to the insurance company about that so she probably never changed it at all.

I'm guessing lots of "bad luck" and then they friggen go back to Hawaii to "return" the tiki guy. Are Mimi and Papa staying another week? I thought I saw that somewhere.

They are definitely planning on going back... without Ollie of course. They'll have to go within the next couple of months though if that's the case. Maybe after Vidcon? A week would be a long time away for poor Oliver

I was watching an old vlog from after Ollie's gender reveal, and they were playing with Bailey and she hit her head. Both Bryan and Missy were trying to console her. I can't remember ever seeing them act that sympathetic to Oliver.

They were really playing with her too, more than they do Ollie. Makes me think they would treat a girl different. That's just sick!

I don't thnk Bryan is much better than Missy because he seemed pretty bothered to not have a girl too. Like mentioned, they BOTH would treat a girl different.
If it had been a little Olivia who fell off her bike and not Oliver when Bryan was in Cambodia, it would NOT have made the vlogs.
