Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
Did Corbin just zip Juniper into his jacket without any other support? I also like how a "productive day" is driving, eating out, and looking at flowers. Wow. You accomplished such great things..

Yes Corbin, your less-than-a-month old daughter loved the tulips.

I was searching for the carrier too The irony is that's the best position she's been worn in, but I don't think he actually had a carrier on!westwuff wrote:Did Corbin just zip Juniper into his jacket without any other support? I hate the excuse that the parents know best. Some well meaning parents have accidentally killed their children (suffocation during unsafe co sleeping, unsafe sleep situations, there was those vegan parents who practically starved their baby the death trying to avoid animal products). If a parent is uneducated on taking care of children, bad things can happen if they refuse advice.

Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
I worked in Pediatric ICU. Believe me, parents do _not_ always know best. Especially pseudo hippies with an irrational fear of traditional medicine. I think natural remedies definitely have a place, and that we should learn more about Chinese medicine. But saying "parents know best" is just stupid. The bit about knowing your child, and knowing when something is wrong, definitely. But these two use that statement as an excuse to stay ignorant.mydietsucks_1 wrote:I hate the excuse that the parents know best. Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
What's so weird is that they don't seem to be building on any knowledge or even building on daily experiential hands on stuff as parents. It's almost as if every new day is like the first day they brought her home from the hospital. You can almost see their clogs whirring round in their heads but coming up with nothing. In every. single. vlog.Strawberry26 wrote:I so wonder what type of an upbringing June will have. These two are the most clueless parents I've seen. Corbin thinks he is a know it all, same with kelsey but kelsey has this stare out in the world gaze, she is completely clueless too.

Well I suppose the human race has YouTube to thank for humanity not becoming extinct. #Sarcasm #KindOfewokfan11 wrote:Or maybe their parents are upset that June IS their income! There is no doubt they are making a lot more now that she's here. Their views have skyrocketed since the pregnancy/birth. I remember when they were doing the van trip and got about 2,000 views per video and were obviously dirt poor. Having June is their ticket to big money, brand deals, sponsorships and more...all they have to do is exploit that kid and keep making more!Strawberry26 wrote:Maybe the reason why their parents didn't come around is because they don't support them having a child with no income.

Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
She admitted that June might have a tongue or lip tie and they have an appointment to her it checked out. That is what is causing her nipple pain and is probably what is causing June's gas.
I was really annoyed because she kept her nasty finger in June's mouth like this the entire time, there was a pacifier right beside her...

They should really make a second channel for those videos. They are missing out on so much Ad$en$e. Two videos = some people watching twice. Just a terrible business move on their part cluttering their daily channel with these videos.

Why wait so long? I thought waiting longer to do the laser correction was more painful for the baby as well obviously more problems feeding in general?MommaLindsey2 wrote:She admitted that June might have a tongue or lip tie and they have an appointment to her it checked out. She didn't mention correcting it, I think she just wants June to latch properly with a tongue tie.westwuff wrote:Why wait so long? Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
She has talked about it before and said if it's not causing any issues that they won't get it revised, and when June had been home only a few days, I'm pretty sure Kelsey said she thought the tie had "gone away"MommaLindsey2 wrote:She didn't mention correcting it, I think she just wants June to latch properly with a tongue tie.westwuff wrote:Why wait so long? Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
I don't think they're able to come up with enough content to fill 7 days worth of daily vlogs, so they use these sit-down videos as filler. They could theoretically film quite a few back-to-back, edit, and schedule them and therefore skip "working" all together on those days. Relative to all the other family vloggers commonly discussed here, they seem to put forth so little effort in terms of being entertaining and planning things that their audience would actually want to watch.usernamessuck wrote:They should really make a second channel for those videos. They're so dumb didn't they get her lip tie and tongue toenchecked? And they were told she didn't have it, and that's when Kelsey said it "must've went away" lmfaoMommaLindsey2 wrote:She admitted that June might have a tongue or lip tie and they have an appointment to her it checked out. I just don't think she has any of those just a bad latch. But who knows maybe she's getting a second opinion.

Re: Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster
I think it will look better on her as the baby weight goes away. It looks like a wrap dress, so it's probably pretty comfortable and will fit as her size changes - and a bit more dressy than those nursing tank tops she's been wearing non-stop.Nothankyou wrote:
