It makes you wonder. I assume they visualized daily life within the home before they started building... "I will be here, you will be there, the girls will be "here" playing"... but they didn't? When they first showed us the McMansion, they said the upstairs office and or extra bedroom could be a playroom for now.PollyKrome wrote:At about 15:10 in the YT; where they are squatting in the giant skeleton of their mcMansion lamenting about where the girls toys will go... They also mentioned something about a room for the girls in the basement "someday".
Personally, I think they say a lot of stuff based on what they read on this site.
Then they sit back and read the reactions.
Of course, I also don't think they give a rat's ass about the girls so maybe they aren't planning on dedicated playroom (after all, that wouldn't be a tax deduction and a dedicated office would be), so who knows.

They're just baiting us. Wow. Middle school intelligence.
Sooner or later, something will happen to one of their miracles and they will end up in court fighting to keep them because they love their paychecks (oops, daughters) sooooo much.
Ugh.

Re: Gardner Quad Squad, A Miracle Freeloading Part 4
Hi! First time post to this board on YTMD.
So, I found the Gardners when the pregnancy photo went viral. I thought they were the sweetest couple with their adorable quadruplet girls. Our family almost sent them generous gifts.
The Gardners first surprised me with their sugary/high carb diet choices all day long. For an adult body (let alone a developing child) to be inundated with sugar/high refined carbs daily is very unhealthy. Ashley and Tyson, it's not personal opinion. No one is hating you. People are alarmed because there is documented risk for damage. Don't believe us - try using your boss "Google" and research it yourself. All the data is published.
I don't watch daily and I fast foward a lot. I guess I always watch in hopes they are learning and evolving.
I skimmed the anniversary video today. I'm so confused. Weren't they living with her parents before they did IVF? I might be wrong but I thought they indicated in the blogs and vlogs that they were struggling financially and didn't have enough money to live on their own, right? How did they go from living with parents to a lavish mcmansion, trips, clothing, cars etc.? Is there really a new world on YouTube where you go from rags to riches through videos giving away small children's privacy? I'm asking because this is new to me.
Wouldn't you, in their shoes, feel little weird about accepting all these donations? Personally, I won't even let my friend buy me lunch!
Would you go flashing your fertility induced financial windfall around on videos? I would personally think (well, give back what you don't need) or at least be humble. Why not tuck the well intended donations away in a college fund for each girl, future expenses etc. Right? I've met many people who have made legitimate fortunes (through a discovery or technology or service) and they are so modest about it. In fact, they downplay everything! It seems so "nouveau riche" (people who have recently acquired wealth, typically those perceived as ostentatious or lacking in good taste) to go flashing your wealth through donations and your children's privacy around. I thought the Gardners were giving and religious people? That's how they have promoted themselves...
Sorry but the seemingly overuse of Tyson's family as shown in the videos...it seems reasonable to ask your family to help if your kids are sick or you have a work need. However, I wouldn't dream of asking my Mother-in-law (she'd laugh in my face and I'd laugh with her) or bro/sister-in-laws to give up their precious time so I could go to a self-indulgent spa days, shopping excursions and fancy trips. THEN VIDEO TAPE MYSELF while others are slaving back at my house? I am embaressed for this display. I really am! My own issue I guess!
Regarding your fertility windfall - if you simply cannot bring yourselves to save money then buy some nice classes for your children (it was intended for your children afterall), heck even hire a cook to make you healthy food. Do it discretely and stay focused on your kids well being...Isn't it their privacy that has been sold without their informed consent?
Gardners, isn't it true that all these donations and support of your businesses have come from the love and generosity of people wishing your babies well? Even the Lipsense success is a direct result of people who followed the girls, generously wanted to support your babies and your financial hardship by supporting your business. Didn't you leverage your sales pitches that way?
I'm confused about how you're using your influence (gained through people's interest in your 4 babies). From what I understand a lot of hardworking Moms get in over their head withLipsense. I don't know if that's true, but that's what I've read. Again, most people sign up motivated by helping your, what seemed to be, financially struggling family. Is it true what people are saying that you have hired another Mom of 4 children, paying an hourly wage, to do all your Lipsense work while you go out shop, eat out, date nights and fancy trips? What about that Mom? When does she get a break? Is she less than you because she didn't use fertility treatments? I'm just trying to understand your rationale.
When does this turn into you taking advantage of people instead of legitimately needing donations for survival? I'm guessing many of your followers are pretty lonely people at various ages (perhaps many living of medicare and social security) and believe the endless "WE LOOOOVVVVEEEE YOU GUYSSS" that you say on camera so much. You appear to have intimate conversations with your viewers asking them for advice. Yet it's a one way conversation. This feels conniving to me. CON. The conversation goes one way with you seemingly constantly soliciting.
You're not a corporation. You're a family. This new seems to cross the line in a way that is really ethically fuzzy. You are not a fabricated show or sitcom, these are real children and you are divulging private matters and discussing real issues. You don't realize that you're with the heartstrings of your viewers to obtain wealth? Am I the only one that finds this a slippery slope?
I will give you an example in one of their vlogs (clip below) Most people buy our homes and do it privately. You, on the other hand, draw in your viewers like their close, beloved members of your inner circle. It's possible your viewers probably desperately want a loving family. Tricky. If you watch the whole clip you share (with your "close" friends "You guys are like family to us") how your girls need a backyard. Check out the way you look at each other - like you know you're drawing your viewers in. How many people sent you checks for your house after this clip?
Watch this clip...
Start at about 4:20, although they seem to build the story earlier.
Are you really still soliciting and accepting direct gifts to your PO Box from hardworking people?
Remember the Brady Bunch? Those kids had contracts, right? Are these kids being sold for episodes and their parents are spending all the money they make? Is that fair? How will these girls feel if it's all gone when they're older? Privacy sold (cannot be returned) and money spent?
I don't know...I'm super confused. I'm just sorting through this...
People ask why we watch? I'm concerned about this trend in our society. The future of kids. The integrity of things. It seems like more people need to be asking questions...

Re: Gardner Quad Squad, A Miracle Freeloading Part 4
Welcome, Jane! Your post was perfect!
If you have Snapchat check out Ashley's latest. It's a sneak peek of what they will try to do IF the girls ever get to go to school. Ashley is standing outside the children's room, recording their every move. Her next snap is a picture of a table with the caption "About to teach the women of the church". Her teach anyone anything? HA!

What really gets me- why aren't they teaching their children manners? Eating dinner sitting on the table and eating off of other people's plate is gross. Teach these girls to be ladies! No man will want them when they reach across the table and grab food from his plate.

Jane your post is spot on and exactly how many of us "haters" feel.

Amen. And thanks for reposting that vlog Jane. You know - in watching it - the girls used to seem happier. And Ash and Tyson more calm. Like that conversation about their home - no screeching or baby talk. I did like watching them at one time. When did that change? When did they start losing viewers in such droves that they have gone to extreme measures to keep them (and in reality are driving them away). I can't watch them anymore. I think Disney World was a big one for me. Ellen maybe? It seems like that is when the lies started really spinning out of control.amyisnewhere wrote:Exactly Jane

Re: Gardner Quad Squad, A Miracle Freeloading Part 4
Hi first time posting here! I was a lurker on GOMI then moved on to lurking here lol. I'm a 20 year old presently in college. I happened to come across the Greedners while surfing YouTube in between studying during Finals. I was watching funny cat videos when the Greedners popped up in my recommendations.
If I remember correctly it was the one in which Ashley returns from Vegas with Tyson holding down the fort . I must say I thought Bison was dad of the year lol (the excessive amounts of coffee and sleep deprivation must've clouded my judgement). And even though it was the very first vlog I'd watched, Trashley rubbed me off the wrong way. I couldn't quite pinpoint it back then, but now I know lol
A couple more vlogs and I ended up despising these people. The girls are adorable but these two pathetic excuses for parents are setting them up for a lifetime of issues. Hell I have no experience in my parenting myself, not even babysitting but I could still see how awful these two freeloading uneducated grifters are.
I don't even know why I watch them. I'm addicted to them like Bison is to donuts lol. Thankfully I came across GOMI ( I googled the greendners and voila!) and now YTMD. Turns out I'm probably the only one in my age group to see through their bullshit. Makes me sad for my generation.

They don't have a play room? What because on the blueprints now none of the rooms are not labeled Play Room? In a Rattled episode she said number one,, a play room for the girls and eventually each would get their own bedroom. What happened with that whole thought process? It is unbelievable that the girls bought this McMansion for them and they can't even have a playroom where all of their toys are there to pick and choose what they may want to play with...Now that I am thinking about it, maybe they realize now if they had a playroom it would not work out. They have seen for quite awhile what is happening with the girls together even with Tyler & AssWit in the room with them.. They probably originally envisioned a room where the girls would be able to be on there own playing nice..Fat chance,,...Now they know if they had a playroom they would have to be in there with them, trying to control the situation,, as usual FAIL. So, why a need of a playroom? It hasn't worked so far.. Someone said earlier.. Little ghosts running around the hallways not knowing where to "go"... I am envisioning that.. so sad
Re: Gardner Quad Squad, A Miracle Freeloading Part 4
that is how I have my kids now and it works great for us. The playroom is a bigger necessity than their own bedrooms right nowSnarky Lady wrote:One solution is to put them all in one room in toddler beds.
