Credit where credit is due, it took a lot longer to do the horse photo shoot than I thought it would. She's stuck to the horse thing longer than I thought she would too... but oh my goodness Missy is a self absorbed moron. Galloping around in a dress, no helmet, loose bareback pad. I think she's fallen off her horse more times in the last 3 months than I have in 20 + years of riding. Her over confidence is going to get her seriously hurt. I wonder if she'll wise up when she breaks her neck.

Also, Finn can barely talk.

Ok, I’ve grown up with horses and we had a boarding facility (very similar to where missy is at but much larger) and I can tell you right now I’ve NEVER known anyone who gets thrown off or hurt as much as her and Bryan do. Stuff happens, accidents happen, horses spook etc, but my god. Literally we never experienced people getting thrown off or hurt at our ranch as much as they do. I hope the facility they are boarding at has Insurance and makes them all sign waivers, if they don’t, they should lol.

I was taught to ride a horse bareback, English style. I then moved onto Western — fully saddled. We did all the cleaning, prep, saddling, bridles, etc.

I have never fallen off a horse, but I was stepped on once (my poor foot). Thankfully I always wore boots! And, go figure, I wore a helmet regardless of the other kids who got their parents to sign insurance wavers so they wouldn’t. Lol!

I get that going to the nth degree of safety can be annoying when you do things repetitively, and become good (or at least familiar) with it, but it only takes one time for something to happen. You need to weight the balances. A serious head injury can be fatal/life altering. It’s not up there on the “I don’t always wear shoes outside” or “sunscreen everyday” sort of thing.

Honestly, if Missy did this privately, whatever. But kids watching may not respect proper horse safety because of the influence.

And if Missy doesn’t like the criticism, maybe she should have thought twice about profiting off of being a public figure on YT where the majority of their views come from >12 year olds.

I started riding when I was six. I fell off a bunch when I went through a "trying to imitate horse vaulters" stage, but other than that, I fell twice, both times jumping. I always wore a helmet. But even a helmet, although it saved his life, didn't save Christopher Reeve from a life altering injury. I had a rotational fall where I went over the horse's head and over the jump and hurt my neck. Lost my mojo after that, even though I got back up and did the jump then. I'll go hacking but I won't jump.
Are we thinking Missy is falling more than she's admitting? Because I am not paying super close attention. Except I've seen the instastories of her galloping along while filming, which is bloody stupid. All it takes is a stumble, and she could really be hurt. Dumb.
Bryan is posting instastories of himself singing NSYNC and Backstreet Boys and asking us to vote on them. Neither.

I was bored, so I wrote a comment about how much I "hate" Daily Bumps. Can't wait for the drama to insue!

A guy I grew up with 22 year old daughter, who has been riding since before she could walk, fell off her horse 12/2016. He bucked, slipped and landed on her. She was wearing a helmet, but still suffered a TBI. Sixteen months later she is still doing rehab. She was a grad student at university of Pennsylvania. So no one thinks she was a run of the mill rider her family owns a big training facility and her step father won the Bronze medal at the last summer olympics and he was US equestrian of the year. Horse accidents happen. Anyone on a horse should have on a helmet. They even have vest now that you tie to your saddle so when you fall it inflated like an airbag. Of course nothing will happen to Bryan and Missy they know what their doing. Never fear.

This whole photoshoot was so over the top and self gratifying for Missy. There were like 8 people there! Two different photographers... all for Missy to have “the day she’s been dreaming of forever..” forget about those two kids she has at home, the only thing Missy wants are pictures of her and her horse. They are just so freaking weird with the photo shoots. It’s becoming a bi monthly event now. Who on earth needs that many photos of themselves?

That's exactly what I thought. Her wedding day, the day she had Ollie, who she supposedly wanted so badly, having Finn (although we know THAT wasn't her "best day", moving into a million dollar home, none of those were her "best day". No. A photo shoot playing princess with her horsie was her "Best Day Ever".
Please. Her priorities are so out of whack.
