I don’t think I can love this more. It speaks volumes the difference between these two families. The Scotts don’t use their children’s misfortunes as vlog content. They were loving concerned parents in the ER and they were focused on their child. Not trying to get footage for their vlog.

My friends daughter is 15 but has been the lead in several major Boradway Tony winning shows over the last 5 or so years. I'm talking about MAJOR shows that have cult like teenybopper followings.

I can't tell you how many fan pages have been made for her. The teen and preteen "fandom S" as they like to call themselves are seriously cut throat! If they think the people the worship is wronged, nothing stops them. The problem with that is that they are kids with no real life experience who have no real understanding of right and wrong or when to stop.

At this point, Tyler's downfall will be the relationship he started with "fandom" that he was is so desperately trying to hide. They won't stop until they vindicate him. But their vindication attempts, only make him look more and more guilty and provides more proof for people to see.

As much as he might be praying for it to, I don't think is going away anytime soon.

Any LDS people here? I’m not but I am part of a church and for years we have had training in kids and young people ministries. With him having younger siblings surely he did some kind of church service with kids being in Utah and not having kids himself until his 30’s. Surely there are some parameters. Which means he is very aware that what he is doing is completely inappropriate.

I’m LDS. His behavior is abhorrent. Missionaries go two by two for a reason. Let’s put it this way: I, as a single woman, can’t have the male missionaries in my home for dinner because there is no other adult male present. It is to protect both me from the appearance of anything sinister and them from anything sinister happening to them. In my congregation that trickles down to everything. Until my daughter turned 18 all contact went through me. Some congregations aren’t quite as strict but the basic guidelines are still the same. Children’s classes are taught by pairs of people for the same reasons. We are taught to be careful about how things could be perceived and to protect the family unit.

That’s what I suspected. It’s similar for most Christian organisations and individuals, you are careful about being transparent about your actions. And to take care with your behaviour to not be called into question.

It shows how little he thinks of his faith and his God that he sees himself as above this.
