Soaking in the Australian sun in January will result in heat stroke and third degree burns. Sydney and southern Australia was in heat wave conditions last week - no way would I be out in the sun. Bizarre they tried to make a big deal out of flat white coffee. I get it is Australian, but it is only milky coffee. Not worth mentioning when there is so much more they could have said.

Why can't they just be honest and say "we're going away on a "work" trip and we're not taking the girls cos of the flight length or whatever and they'll be taken care of by loved ones at home. Just a simple thing. Instead they have to try and hide it. They just make things worse for themselves all the time. Same with Vlogging. If it's too much just cut down to a once a week Vlog or 2/3 times like the Scott's and make them shorter. They ain't got a clue.

It will be hilarious! I have done that climb in mid January and it was boiling hot. Especially in the jumpsuits they put you in. Can you imagine how much he would stink? I can’t see him getting up and down the ladders though.

I bet he will chuck a tantrum when he finds out he’s actually not allowed to hold a Koala.

You’re right. It is much cooler than usual. The temps are more Spring like on the forecast. We normally have heat waves about now. Instead today it rained for most of the day and was about 20-22C. Our forecast does tend to change though. Fingers crossed! Still I would be surprised if he could even do the bridge climb.

Part of me is hoping to see this while I am working.

New Years vlog is up. First thing I noticed is the pumped Scarlett up woth sugar and favorful food despite taking notice she was sick. Scarlett is possessive over the Frosty toy (poor kid craves to have something unique that her sisters don't have and she's not forced to share). She brags about all her kids being right handed... Scarlett uses both hands to color. They talk about NY Resolutions... the girls (like most kids their age) have no concept of what she means and shouts out random answers or gives blank stares (Evie). Tyson sits on Ash's lap and I almost feel sorry for her.

Biggest take away: Scarlett was indeed sick on New Years Eve, but her parents kept jostling her around instead of making her rest, feeding her sugars and carbs, and overall did everything you're not supposed to do for the purpose of vlogging a perfect family. Also, Indie is quickly becoming a little greedy somebody (isn't she the one who got the Elsa and Anna dolls), as she takes the Frosty and shows no remorse as her sister is hysterical over it.

Had to chuckle at Tyler sitting on her knee. She couldn't bear to have her face close to his, the body language was so obvious.

It's going to be very funny with them down here. One, they are so ignorant they probably won't understand us. Our food is very fresh so they probably won't like that either. Our service people are not as polite as Americans so they won't like that. They may have to get public transport, trains, buses or ferries, that means mixing with the general public. One, not mormons, two, wont acknowledge how important they are, three, will tell her straight to her face to shut the fuck up when she screeches. Can't wait for that one. lol Four, everywhere they go there will be alcohol being served. lol That's going to be funny if they come across intoxicated people. I can just imagine the 'how rude' from them. Our houses don't all look the same so that's going to be interesting. Can't wait to see them at a wildlife park. Everything there can kill you. Watch out for the drop bears! It's going to be all very amusing.

Those girls are just crying out to be individual, why can't they see that. Why can't they have their own toys, ones that are just theirs, why can't they ever dress differently.
One Frosty the Snowman, the only one that was interested in it was Scarlett, but of course monkey see monkey do or monkey want in this case. When one colors they all have to color, I have three grand children and I don't think they ever wanted to do the same activity at the same time.
It really kills me how bad they are screwing up their own children.

I don't think the grain was sick. I think she had a spoiled fit about wanting the dancing frosty.

Am I reading that last part correctly? “The missionaries told me to leave my phone at home and go to church”? Seriously messed up (in my opinion)that members of the church are telling this young person to deliberately disobey her parents. TyLub should not even be commenting on this as far as I’m concerned.

And Tyson is an idiot. Not only is he encouraging a teenager to lie to her parents, he is far from the example of a Mormon that anyone should look up to. For all his blathering about his Heavenly Father, he's lazy, gluttonous, selfish, and greedy. He didn't even go on a mission!
