I thought it was weird in the grocery haul there was no mention of the other kids favorite snacks? Only the twins, what she gives Benji, and all of her and CR's favorite snacks. Once kids are past the toddler age are they not given any special food they want just for them?

I think it’s because the older kids like junk snacks, she doesn’t want to show that off and get criticized. We know Rosie lives Pringles chips, which are great. No shame, I let my 2-year old have a small stack if he eats his main course at lunchtime. The only other snack I know of are these Welch’s fruit snacks we’ve seen her buy.

I think she watches " Our tribe of Many" vlog and tries to emulate them, but falls exceedingly short. Our Tribe lived frugally and puts their kids needs first. They have 2 freezers and an extra refrigerator. She and husband preps meals before hand, buy a month at a time and literally make everything from scratch. They have 10 kids, barely any yelling. Schedules and home schools. She spends approx .97 cents per person per meal, as they buy in bulk and ahead. She feeds them healthy good nourishing meals and snacks her last 4 are approx 1 1/2 years apart.

Anyone else or is this just me. The way that she holds things up really bothers me. Like each item is suddenly the most precious item on the planet. Like calm down Ang its literally a book at a 3rd grade reading level.

Has anyone been keeping up with their podcast?

No one is going jeopardize their income by coming out to support Myka. Neither will the jeopardize their own secrets by coming out against her.

Poor Rosie is still wandering alone without any glasses to see for weeks, despite Angie telling us how easy it is for her to pop the lenses into new frames. I can't believe any decent parent would stop their child from seeing properly for many weeks. She can't play or learn or interact with others properly if she suddenly can't see for weeks. It shows where Angie's priorities are.

I also can't watch the attempted fake crying and begging us to Show Up aka give your money. It's like the vlog remembering Rose's life in China where only a quick comment was made. Why title a vlog and have a photo of Jonah when he wasn't even involved. Using kids heartbreak and tragedy for clickbait is scummy behaviour.

It was a quick video and made her work easier. She did one for her personal and one for her family channel- easy another week of YouTube done with minimal effort. They also didn’t release a podcast this week. She gets credit for her cause and does less work. She makes more $ off her video for the week than she probably even donates herself.

I want to enjoy their content but she’s stretched to thin. 2 channels, the podcast, the book, being a guest promoting herself, and some attempt at homeschooling seems to (understandably) Be too much. She preaches how “having it all” doesn’t look a cartoon way but she is the one trying to shove so much in. Less would be more for them as far as commitments.

I feel like I’m watching a train wreck. I want good for their family but fear if she doesn’t slow down it’s all going to crash. Maybe she could release some creative control and let CR do more- he seems capable and more than willing to support her.

She had hired someone to help with her business already but still isn't managing. I think CR is too busy cooking and looking after all the kids to do much more.
They now seem to be claiming that leaving their kids unsupervised all the time is a parenting statement and choice over just having too much to handle. There's kids being challenged and free range, and then there's having 6 kids under 8 regularly being left without adult supervision and interaction for large amounts of time because the parents have taken on too much. Tweens shouldn't be responsible for 3 babies all the time. I'm glad they missed a podcast if it meant the kids had some quality time with their parents.

She's unfollowed myka but won't publicly speak out. Probably because she has exploited international adoption for views and likes herself. I think she loves them and would never consider doing what myka did but she brought Noah and Rosie from over sees to cast them aside to get pregnant herself so maybe she can see the hypocrisy there.

What broke my heart is in the vlog before the van cleaning one she was showing Benjamin and his cuteness then Rosie was there desperately trying to show her schoolwork to Angie, then a quick over to one of the twins and her making over them all the while Rosie is quietly saying "Mom look, look Mom" totally ignored. Wish they would give me Rosie! So sad, so very sad!

I wish she wouldn't have background music playing while CR is talking about the recipes he makes. It doesn't cover up the noise from the kids and it makes it hard to focus!

Well she publically said on her insta stories she'll do an adoption q&a but wont answer any questions about Myka. What a coward, isnt she supposed to be an advocate?

In light of the Stauffer situation, I feel like the Braniffs posting their latest vlog was kind of eye opener as to how Angie really operates. If anyone hasn’t watched, she got the sudden urge to repaint and replace locks on a door. To summarize as much I remember, she removed the door, sanded it to repaint, then painted it. She couldn’t stop there, she wanted to do the front door, too, which she broke something so severely, it ruined the door and she went to Home Depot to try to buy a new front door. No luck because that’s not something you can normally buy in a day, as it costs a lot of money and I don’t think Home Depot normally has doors in stock for immediate purchase. All this was done on a Sunday afternoon, with a house full of kids, and one or two of them had messed with the paint job on the first door.

I may have gotten some of that wrong, I was sure she tried to fix two doors in one afternoon. I get her personality is a bit impulsive and impatient, but this is stuff you can’t really do with a bunch of little kids around. We can’t and don’t do that in our house. Just allowing 4 hours for my husband to paint our deck railings this past weekend took coordination to keep our 3 tiny kids out of the way and entertained. Watching CR just watch her go was funny in a way that he just accepts this is how his wife is, as nonsensical as it was. He doesn’t challenge her decisions, he just takes care of the kids and lets her go.

Angie has talked a bit about a “millennial” thing called an enneagram(sp?) which I had to look up and I probably didn’t spell it right. It’s a personality test like Myers-Briggs, and I guess Angie rates a 7, which is an individual that gets bored easily and is always seeking an adventure. I don’t know how having 8 kids fits that personality type, it seems totally opposite. I don’t think Angie is like Myka Stauffer, but I do wonder why there is the need for more and more children. Is it partially for keeping up the Youtube clout, even just a little bit? I hadn’t even realized Rosie has been without glasses for weeks until it was mentioned here. That’s a priority that goes above fixing things in the house, especially things that already work.

In making a response video to the Stauffers, is it even a good idea for the Braniffs who were the inspiration for Myka to even adopt at all? I watched a response video from a random critic that lumped a bunch of these YT families together, fundie Christians that have a white savior complex and believe God is calling on them to save a child. I don’t want to get too into it, because I do like the Braniffs, but I wonder if there is something else going on, beyond a genuine desire to keep adopting.

It makes me laugh how completely exasperated Angie always is with CR. He eggs her on and is always on her very last nerve.

Regarding the boys handprints on the door. This is the first time I’ve been truly impressed with Angie. She wasn’t the slightest bit upset with the child and just fixed it in stride. Their kids all seem genuinely happy.

The Rosie stuff I get a bit. As a special needs mom I know how often the child with extra needs demands attention. It’s impossible sometimes to fill their attention bucket, particularly while trying to attend to a sibling or give a sibling attention. I don’t think she should take attention from what she’s doing to indulge a child demanding attention in the moment.

Wonder what lacklustre reaction she’ll film to the Stauffer rehoming tragedy.

On a scale of ‘Myka’ to ‘best mum ever’ she scores somewhere in the middle, but I just can’t get over how much she’s playing this imaginary game of Adoption Bingo.
I hope she owns up to inspiring a heartless woman like Myka to adopt. Not everyone has the capacity to be a mother. Even less to go the distance to adopted and nurture children.

You’re blaming Angie for Myka being a lowlife POS! You want her to take responsibility for the complete tragedy that’s befallen on young Huxley’s life.

She may have “inspired” Myka, but she certainly didn’t inspire her to give him up.

I am not blaming Angela for Myka’s decisions. As Myka stated many times Angela encouraged her to adopt and they talked over dms etc. She doesn’t need to apologise, she did not do any of this. I hope she says something along the lines of “I can’t believe I ever wasted my time on this woman.” That’s all. That she doesn’t try to skirt around that part of the story.

‘Lacklustre’ as in not really taking a stance against it.
