I’m assuming it’s not I’m just asking since there could be a small heart issue with baby b. I think she’s going in sometime this week to have a c section. She keeps making vlog titles saying they’re gonna be here soon or saying it’s almost time. Do doctors schedule c sections for twins this early? She’s 36 weeks right?
Statistically, boys are more likely to have the heart issue. Having girls in the past does not mean anything... Especially since they go through IVF to conceive.

Boys are more likely to struggle to get better. When my son was transferred at birth, the team said they do far more transfers of newborn boys than girls. I’m not sure there is any higher incidence of illness in either sex though.

All babies are classed term at 37 weeks, whether singleton or multiple. Multiples are more likely to be born before that though. I would imagine the doctors will want her to make it to 37 weeks if possible, as there will is a far lower chance of NICU stay for healthy babies born after 37 weeks. With the one with a heart issue, who knows?

Why is her blog name "prep for LABOR"? Did she say baby a is head down now? I thought the plan was scheduled section. I'd guess the 27th because doctors will wait for term unless medical necessity. And nothing about that video wad prepping for labor. They set up swings and cleared out a drawer then she took a nap.

She posted yesterday that she ordered a belly cast. I’m thinking it would arrive this week, and I also don’t think they would schedule sooner than 37 weeks. My guess is next Monday or Tuesday.

Ever since someone brought up Rachelle only making thumbnails of herself in it, it's all I notice now. And the fact that 'twins' has to be mentioned in nearly every title.

My brother and SIL use common names for their kids and they had a name guessing game for their last kid and I was wrong. I guessed Sophia.

So I'm going to guess Sophia again for a girl and see if I'm right this time! :D

Girls: Sophia, Isabelle/Isabella, Luna (because this name is having a weird spike in trendiness right now), Juniper (again because trendy)
Boys: Alexander, Maverick, Jacob, Joshua, Harrison (I like this name and think it should be used but I doubt they'll use it), Griffin, Quinn, Preston, Leo

I could see them going with Luna and Leo and thinking they're so clever and original.

Nooo, I love the name Sophia and its gonna be my daughters name when/if I ever get pregnant with a girl (or if the baby currently inhabiting my uterus turns out to be a girl after all at tomorrows ultrasound)! I am gonna be mad if she uses it hahaha 8-)

What is the point of the second hole in the sensory table??? She only ever puts one bin in it so why is the table double wide? Am I missing something??

Isnt she obsessed with friends too? I could totally see her doing something like Ross & Monica or even Ross and Rachel.

I honestly dont see her liking her husband enough to name their kid after him but the office or friends? Heck yeah!

TBH i love matchy twin names but im not sure id name my actual twins like that but for dolls, barbies or sims? Perfect. My name bets...

Lucy & Liam
Sophia & Amelia
Aiden & Kaiden or Jaiden
Logan & Lucas

I think the fact that they can’t afford grass for their entire backyard says all we need to know about their financial situation lol especially when “THeY bOuGhT tHe HoUsE fOr ThE lAnD”

The whole part about them not putting it down now because they want a pool there eventually is just a load of BS

Whether you’ve only given birth to girls before or not doesn’t dictate future genders. It’s purely pot luck. Statistically, it’s a 50% chance of having another girl.
We all actually have a slightly higher chance of conceiving a boy as there are slightly more boys to girls born each year.

Really? I thought it was less likely to have the opposite gender after having 2 of the same. I remember I read an article not too long ago about it. Not totally sure if it’s true or not but it would make sense since I’ve seen a lot of people have 2 boys/girls and then the third child is also the same gender as the others.

The sex of a baby has exactly 0% chance to do with the sex of the siblings, how in the world does that even make sense.

Yeah, I've never heard any of that, but if there is any truth to the Shettles method (having sex closer to ovulation = higher chance of boy, a few days before ovulation = higher chance of girl), I could see why people would be more likely to have the same sex if they have sex at the same time of the month every time they get pregnant. However, since all of Rachelle and Justin's babies are conceived via IVF, that wouldn't even be a factor.

Yeah, I'd expect Rash and Justin to have girls because, for whatever reason, XX chromosome embryos have an increased rate of survival. I speculate it's because the X chromosome is generally more stable under stress than the Y, but don't quote me on that.

Tangentially, there are bizarre mutations in gamete production in the animal kingdom that lead to all sperm carrying male chromosomes, leading to only male offspring, or overly dominant female chromosomes muting out the sperm, leading to all female offspring. Not saying that it's ever been documented in humans, it hasn't, but it is fascinating stuff.

I'm still betting one boy and one girl. Girls names Rash would pick are probably Olivia, Rachel, Ava, Ellie, or Abby and boy names would be Oliver or something biblical like Daniel, Ethan, Eli, Peter, Aaron, or Alexander, to match with their only-for-social-media beloved nephew, Joshua. Middle names will probably also be virtues, like Hope or Faith. Hopefully they don't do the (in my opinion) dumb thing where they give all their kids the same first initial.

It’s more likely she would have boys then girls with IVF. Male embryos tend to mature faster than females and are often used first in transfers. Not sure if this was just the numbers for one specific clinic, but the ratio of boys to girls is as high as 6:4. Of my four embryos that stuck, I had three boys and one girl.

I think she is having a boy and girl, too. I think she is going to go with popular, normal names. In everyone’s suggestion, my twins’ names were mentioned, and a close variant of my toddler son’s names. I guess I’m pretty boring, LOL, but we didn’t have enough time to think out the twins’ names. It was almost a case of which names do we both not hate.

Girl:
Charlotte - goes very well with Emma with a literature theme
Amelia
Isabella
Ivy - my top pick but hubby didn’t like it

Boy -
Noah
Logan
Landon
