She’s so proud that “this gorl can’t cook”. I was 17 when I got married, and was a mom at 18, 19 and 24. I couldn’t cook well either, so I get it. But you can bet I learned really quickly! By the time I was her age, I was good at cooking meals for us. No nightly cereal, frequent junky take-out, Lunchables, or Hello Fresh for just myself. She’s ridiculous.

Jess said in a comment it was because Janell was working directly with covid patients and she wasn't comfortable with being around her but then added how her boyfriend (janell and him broke up recently) didn't like her and she also said they were on different paths.
