It was already that color and they had all these big plans to paint before they moved in and never did. Shocking, they didn't do something they said they were going to!

I absolute HATE when people buy mason jars to use as glasses. It's so obnoxiously hipster. Sorry if I've offended anyone who does use them, but look, the only thing cute about using mason jars as glasses is when they're repurposed (i.e.: you're being eco-friendly using old jars as water glasses). Then it has an authentic shabby chic look that would look nice in a slightly old-world european or country deco theme. There's nothing more obnoxious than people pretending to be eco-friendly by BUYING something that is brand new but looks old. There is this restaurant that we go to in my town that uses mason jars as glasses. As much as I like the food, I cringe at how hipster it is. They probably paid extra for a set of 100 or so glass mason jars they will never use for canning when they could have just bought glasses for less money and the same carbon footprint.

Okay, rant over.

LOL thank you, I needed that laugh! When she showed the coffee cups I was sure she was going to head to the Keurig next but NOPE nowhere in sight! I can kind of understand where she was trying to head with her decorating choices but she obviously missed the mark, I still don't get where the red toaster fits though.

I started using mason jars as glasses because they break less easily as regular glasses and with two little ones its much more cost effective. Also - I do occasionally do some canning, I plan on making a batch of jam next weekend.

I like using mason jars, too, because they're durable but I usually try to find old ones at garage sales. We also tend to use old pasta sauce jars sometimes as cups, too, just because we have them on hand. (I'm currently pregnant and my friends thought it was hilarious I was drinking out of a Prego jar the other day.)

Yeah see, but that's what I'm saying, you guys actually use your mason jars for multiple purposes.

We use old jars, especially jelly/jam jars and have a collection of mason jars from canning

Jeeze how many times did she say the word "item"??? Bread items? lol. And did anyone else notice that there was only a bunch of prepackaged food in their freezer? Do they not buy meat and freeze it?

Wtf is a "mason jar theme?" We use mason jars as well as regular glasses in our house because my husband is from Alabama and he's just always used them that way. We also didn't buy them specifically for glasses we used them as wedding centerpieces originally.

SHE NEEDS A DAY OFF?

What is with people these days?

I bet you this is the beginning of them leading up to a "BIG ANNOUNCEMENT" and it's going to be this big drawn out thing, and then she's going to say she's pregnant...

Yeah I was thinking the same thing too. I was waiting for someone here to speculate on that. I wouldn't be surprised except that I really don't think they'll try to get pregnant without her having surgery. It's too risky for another miscarriage.

I think she would. I mean, like her doctor first told her, there is no need to have the surgery because she had a healthy pregnancy. I know she wants the surgery, but unless she is on birth control or just not having sex, she could still get pregnant.

Oh, she could, and they're not necessarily the most responsible people. I know they definitely want to have more kids and moving out could totally be timed with her being pregnant. Remember when Bryan was like, "we have so many rooms. Lets fill them with kids"? The thing is, I would not follow that doctor's advice and risk more miscarriages. Even Ollie's pregnancy became risky at the end. Well, honestly, I don't really understand what happened with Ollie and why it had to be a c-section because the video was confusing. It was something about her not getting kick counts and then he was distressed? Idk, if it were me, with two miscarriages and an emergency c-section under my belt, I would not risk getting pregnant until I had all my ducks as much in a row as possible...and even then, there are no guarantees.

Exactly!!! But like I said... unless she is on birth control and using condoms, or just not having sex, there is NO WAY they are preventing a pregnancy.

I completely agree. I remember one video she talked about not liking birth control for whatever reason and they use condoms. If I had the history she did, I would be using condoms and taking birth control to be sure there was very little chance of getting pregnant right now. I can just hear it. You guys the condom must have broke. Maybe this was the reason for rushing into a house. They think they are so clever dropping little hints.

Mason jars as glasses isn't just a hipster thing. My southern farmer grandma has had mason jars as glasses since forever & gave me extras and I use them. I didn't know people were using them as a "hipster" thing now :?
