Eb, it's people like you who are going to make life more difficult for Lily. Have a heart! Maybe try and look past the fact that she's not a traditionally cherubed-faced toddler and appreciate her differences or just don't be so shallow and acknowledge her unique cuteness and her sweet personality. I get that some people don't find her cute, but why come on here to just say that? You didn't even say anything else. Just that she's not cute. Why not keep that to yourself? We know Vanessa reads here and while we may say things about her and her choices, it's just plain mean to comment on lily's looks. Don't you think she's worried that people will bully her or treat her different in life? This is just my opinion but it bothers me when people come on here to say Lily isn't cute. If that's how you feel, fine. But there's no point in sharing that opinion. It's mean.

And no, Sam, it's not just Lily. It's mean to say that about any of the kids. A lot of the things on here could be construed as constructive criticism or tough love. But blatantly saying a little kid (especially one that can't help the fact that she was born with Turner syndrome) isn't cute ISNT helping anything. We don't get to choose what we look like. You could say that it's not a big deal but we live in a world where we are harshly judged for our looks and I just cant imagine any reason why it's necessary to spread that kind of hate. I get it, it's a gossip site, but some things can't be helped. She's probably going to have to deal with a lot of bullying in her life and I don't see any reason that we need to contribute to that.

Sam, fair enough. I get it. But yeah, I feel like it's one of those things we need to stand up for. Just because a lot of people do it doesn't make it okay. It's one thing to make suggestions to Vanessa about things she can actually change but it's another to just say things that are mean for the sake of being mean.

I think it's funny that Vanessa is pushing this exercise thing again. When someone posted an old video of V at the hospital, I watched a few more old videos and she did the SAME thing like back in 2013. She got all serious about working out, saying the same thing she says now, that she wants to inspire people and show them how easy it is to eat healthy and be active. Excuse me if I don't find it super inspiring when you stick with it for only a few weeks. If I were her, I'd tell myself, "maybe I shouldn't pretend to be Miss Health & Fitness2015 because I've LEARNED from the past that I don't always stick with it." And sorry if I find some of her workouts outdated. She was using a thighmaster in one video. Maybe they work, idk. But I honestly don't think she knows very much about health and nutrition. In the old "healthy" video I watched, she tried to eat healthy by going to a Chinese food buffet for lunch and then ate movie theater popcorn and a coke for dinner. I'm going to just assume that she thinks sharing her weight loss goals with her viewers will motivate her to stick with it, which is fine. I think she sometimes tries to change her eating and exercise SO much that it isn't sustainable so she quits. She's not fat. She should just try to make healthier food options (not solely for the sake of losing weight, but to be healthier and stronger) and integrate exercises that more likely to become lifelong habits. The trail walking is good. It's just funny to me how she pretends to be this health and wellness guru when I feel like her knowledge comes straight out of the 1980's.

So what your saying is, we might as well give her a good dose of bullying now so that she can handle it later on? That's stupid. I think theres a big difference between saying that you might not find Lily the cutest kid and people being cruel because of her features due to her turners syndrome. People have been assholes and said it, which is cruel. It's okay to not find every child particularly cute but it's not okay to be cruel and say horrible things like she looks like an alien (that one pissed me off big time.)

So its not ok to say lily isn't cute? But its ok to call Nolan or jess' kids ugly? I don't get it because she has something wrong with her? People think some things wrong with one of jess kids (I don't know which one) but can say he's ugly. I don't think its mean. Its what I think its not like I'm directly saying it to the damn kid.
