FILLING AN ENTIRE POOL WITH *insert multiples of currently relevant things*" before completely destroying it and getting a new one. i mean, i understand, it's bringing in money.

SURPRISE POLL! how and when do you think the pool will die? do you think it'll be destroyed?? will the pool face its doom on camera?? will it survive the summer??? will it survive a week? what insanely cheap thing will they fill the pool with to an obnoxious and obscene extent?????
POOL #1 IS DOWN! someone correctly guessed slime.
there's still time to place your bets on how pool #2 will die AND how long it will last! will it beat the summer 2017 record of 17 days!! how would you effectively destroy a $500 pool?

personally, i think they will buy another pool and set it up at their Oklahoma house. sam will probably have an entire blog where it's just "lol the previous owner left this yard in SHAMBLES so i will clean it up!" followed by a montage of him cleaning (with sophisticated stock music playing in the background, of course). they will probably have another video where their plants and trees will mysteriously die and they'll stare into the camera like "why is this happening???" even though they ruined it with slime. wondering how they will achieve that same effect for a national forest when they eventually drain whatever the pool is toxically filled with into an area that's not their problem

filling: insta-snow
timeline: 2 months

If, by some cruel twist of fate I ended up with that property I'd level that shack. I'd rather live in a tent. A nice, NEW tent.
I just looked on Trulia. There's a rather cute little house that looks well maintained, a nice yard, a tornado shelter (a must, I would think in OK), on 2 1/2 acres fronting on a nice looking forest, that is listed for $65,000. If they paid more than that, they got taken. It's going to take a lot of money and a huge amount of effort to just clean up the place they bought, never mind remodel.
their house actually sold for 159k!

Sigh......
Maybe when they come back from Nicaragua they'll have an appreciation for money and all their things. I'm assuming since it's a missionary trip they will actually be spending time with people who truly are poor and have so little. I think it's the second poorest country in Central America (I could be wrong) so they will see what it's like to have little to nothing where just having food is a blessing.

Yeah I don't see them doing comment of the day tomorrow considering it seems like most of the comments are giving them crap for destroying another pool.

What disgusting, wasteful people. I'm glad to see them finally getting shit in the comments. They take their money for granted, and I still don't see their so-called "charity" website going anywhere despite Sam claiming about a month ago that it was coming soon. Still convinced the t-shirt money went to that truck and their beautiful new vacation home.

I can't believe they've destroyed two pools and a television, they'll drop money on a vacation home and electronics they don't need, but they wont protect that poor, neglected dog against heartworms. Have you noticed that when they stopped getting so much flack about Oreo, they stopped showing how "loved" she is in the vlogs? Interesting.

I find this disturbing of so many family vloggers: Daily Bumps, Bonnie Hoellien, Ellie & Jared to name but a few. They all seem so ignorant of the fact that there are plenty of male pedophiles whose penchant is boys and not girls. Sam is the worst though, with comments about a pee pee guard etc.

My daughter was talking about something Samika was doing, and accidentally said "Sam and Nia" when she meant Sam and Jenn. Whoops! Definitely not the same!

Just out of curiousity - is it okay to put religious books on the floor? I'm not Christian but I do know that religious books and prayer items should be respected. Nia put the cross and books on the floor where people walk all day - I dunno just wondering. She's an idiot anyway - so moving on. Nia packing everything as usual - does Sam ever do anything?? I wouldn't trust Sam taking any of the kids with him! I think Nia is trusting him since there is a large group going and their will be some Ladies there to help with Symphony. Yeah okay Nia - keep trying to justify why you guys are wasteful. They are hypocrites and would never do those things if they didn't have all this disposable income coming in from YouTube!

I thought the way they responded to the pool situation was pretty typical-"We had more fun being ridiculous and breaking it in a few days than we would've using it the way it's supposed to be used so shut up LOL". I did see someone comment that if it hadn't been for the "fan basic" they never would've been able to afford that pool in the first place.

I don't get that all, if they knew they wouldn't have fun with it all summer what was the purpose especially that size?

I love to swim, I know not everyone does and that's okay but I just don't see how it could be more fun to destroy it in a few days than be able to use it all summer.

It's so gratifying in the moment that give in and then pay the cost later rather than looking at long term and as much as I hate to bring it up it doesn't surprise me coming from Sam who wanted "to look" at other women to have an affair with.

I am far from rich so this isn't me bragging but because of the business my husband was in for a while I met quite a few people who make over a million a year, even more who make 500K+ a year and very few of them were actually wasteful. Some of them had the things they loved, and by that I mean from shoes to cars it was excessive and not necessary but it wasn't what I'd call wasteful. Many of them shopped around for deals, some would even buy used (this was one of the million a year people).
That's how you stay rich by spending wisely, possibly investing wisely and being smart. There are so many celebs who made tons of money on a role or gig even multiple ones and then were out of work and ended up going broke. It's easy to do, I get that, it's just irritating seeing it from people that are worshiped as being Holy and Christ like.

Nia's flippant reply to comment of the day surprised even me. I know they never apologize for their bad behavior, but I think their fans have one coming, after all disappointed comments (I just got done skimming through them). What they are teaching their own kids, by their example, they are also teaching the young, impressionable kids who watch them. I don't buy the excuse of "hey guys, our pool, to do what we want with, and the important thing is we had SOOO much fun with with family during and after we gleefully destroyed our new $500 pool." And then she goes on to say, don't worry, we won't disappoint you, there will be plenty more pool fun coming!. If I had children who watched them, I'd be furious.

Why didn't Sam and Nia prepare Symphony for visiting another country? Did they not get her some books about culture and history of the area? Could they not have taught her a few simple phrases in Spanish?

The scene where Abram is in bed and crying pitifully that his daddy is leaving...I'm sorry, but I suspect that Sam encouraged Abram to be sad so that he could impress everyone with how much his son loves him. Maybe I'm wrong, That would have been nasty, but we are talking about Sam Rader here, and I wouldn't put it past him.

One more thing...sorry, I'm on a roll, lol.
What do you think of Nia's relationship with her sisters in law? We barely even saw David's wife, and Michael's wife, Andrea, wasn't seen very much either. I've watched a few Mike & Drea vlogs, and Drea's personality seems almost the direct opposite of Nia's. I wonder what they think of Nia?

I almost feel like Nia has a complete different personality when Sam is NOT around. She is more comfortable, able to do whatever she wants. The movie theatre scene was just a pivotal moment for her. She was in charge and buying whatever food she wanted. It's like the bird was free from it's cage for the first time. Sam has her on complete lockdown - even though he "let's" her go out for her nails and her girls dinners - this is something we rarely see. Okay did you guys see all those gross lunchables in the fridge? Nia used to make fresh food for her kids to take - what is up with that? That whole scene in the end where she's explaining how she almost got in trouble for filming in the theatre - that was such a Sam move right there. Not respecting the establishment or the law - typical Rader attitude. That is why they keep getting lashed out comments on their videos and just look for supporters of their stupid antics.

Could imagine if all those "negative Nancys" left meaning anyone who commented anything that wasn't 100% support on the pool issue?
Their views are already low, imagine how low they'd be if all those people left.
Then who would sponsor them and their many "viral" ideas?

Part of me thinks that just maybe Sam will come back at least a little more respectful of things and people because it's very hard not to do when you are faced with true poverty, especially if they're working with kids.

Although does anyone know what exactly they are doing?

Even mission trips usually involve something other than just preaching.

So I know double posting here but I just wondered people's opinions.

I just watched the house tour.... boy do they have their work cut out for them. I've helped flip houses before so I know it can be done but it's not easy especially if he thinks he can do it all himself.

Anyway if it was your vacay house (once it's done) do you think you'd put the kids in the bigger room and take the smaller room for your SO and you?

This isn't me picking apart whatever their decision is, I don't care nor does it make me think if they took the big room it'd be wrong.

I'm just bored and curious to see what others would do.

I'd take the smaller room. They have to fit 3 beds in a room so it would make sense to do that with the bigger room.

in my current mental state, i'd take the bigger room. i'm a selfish 20-something with no dependants. but if i had multiple children, i'd take the smaller bedroom. though, honestly, i'd try and do my best to avoid the situation by having at least 3 bedrooms to begin with, or by just buying the land and building off of that. if i were them, i'd try and make it as presentable & safe as possible and then never live there tbh. i'd just rent it year round to basics for high prices and make money.

New poster here, hi everyone :D.

I've never subbed to S&Ns channel because I just cannot handle Sam's personality especially. Nia is more annoying than anything but Sam is a complete idiot & so fake with the way he acts that I don't find him one bit funny.

It seems that the money has gone to Sam's head, so being wasteful & buying whatever he likes is the norm these days. The hardcore fans that just blindly accept whatever they do & can't see why people get upset really irk me. It's always the same comments, "It's their life they can do whatever they want" or "it's their money, they can spend it anyway they want" etc. While this is true, the problem is there are so many young kids who watch them and they are impressionable. They look at Sam & Nia as being these perfect parents who do & say nothing wrong. I've lost count of the number of kids who've said "I wish you were my parents".

Sam is so fake & I really can't stand that idiotic fake laugh of his, like when he was in the kayak with his brothers in the flooded street recently.

The younger kids actually think that a Sam & Nia do love them, which is sad, because all they really love is the fact that their stupid vids get watched by naive kids. God help me when Sam starts blathering on about philosophical things, Christian teachings & health matters, like the silly ADHD comment. He got a verbal thrashing about that, the idiot, & rightly so.

Well it will be interesting to see how their kids end up as they get older, especially with the way the are spoiled. Talk about being materialistic people. It's just buy, buy, waste, buy :x

What gets me is the blatant hypocrisy. Calling themselves Christian and talking about how you can't serve two masters, and then a day or two later, destroying an expensive pool, and saying (basically) "it's ok, we can buy a new one. The point is, we had fun!" It leaves a really bad taste in my mouth.

Yes!!! The irony of Nia talking about taking the narrow road or the wide road & serving two masters & the next minute there's good 'ol Sam with his Bowie knife, slicing a open a brand new pool & totally destroying it!!! Oh but we all had lots of fun in the pool, making family memories!! Yea, yea, save us the bull Nia. In reality, it was Sam & his brothers who had the most fun anyway. I still think Sam sliced open the pool as an 'in your face' move. That's his deranged side making its presence known. He does that sort of thing to deliberately stir the pot & then he let's all the hardcore tweeny fans stick up for him.
