The conversation on Ashley's page about how her girls learned to speak so well continues. I can't decide if the lady was being sarcastic but I don't think so. She really wants advice on how the girls learned to speak so amazing. I am just - speechless. Ashtwit did respond very proudly that her kids haven't taken any speech lessons. They have learned to speak so well because they are around so many adults all day and so many different types of people. So apparently they speak just like adults. If I had a coffee table, I couldn't resist pounding my head against it. This is the problem with their fans - they are stupider than the Gardner's.

Someone asked a couple days ago about being stuck in adolescence and why it happens. I had to go back to my therapy classes but I found what I was looking for.

Tell me this isn't scary. 7 ways you know if someone is stuck in adolescence: (not all were applicable).

1. You want your food instantly and throw a fit of you have to wait, share, or take time to make food. Take out and easy grab food is your go-to

2. You refuse to do chores - even washing up a cereal bowl is too much effort for some so there’s no way they’re going to wash up multiple pots, pans and baking trays.

3. You eat retro foods from your childhood - potato smiley faces, spaghetti hoops and turkey dinosaurs are all making a comeback because a) they’re delicious, b) we’re nostalgic, and c) they tend to involve little cooking. You talk of family recipes and memories of food and family.

6. You stay up too late - even though you know you have to get up and go in the morning. Your responsibilities suffer as a result. You seem very good at forgetting that every night. Just one more scroll through Instagram…

7. You fall in love quickly - puppy love isn’t just for puppies and it turns out you don’t stop getting crushes once you leave your teenage years behind. Only now instead of passing notes in the classroom you’re trying to charm your beloved by flirting, teasing, or goofing off acting like you did when you were a teen. If married, your spouse might be caught off guard by your flirtations with others.

There is also some interesting research on dating "seriously" in early adolescence and how it can result in being stunted at that age. The number one reason, which would make sense, is trauma of some type at that age. (Particularly sexual abuse). But there are indicators that dating seriously before the age of 15-16 can create permanent fixation at that stage of life. Research appears to indicate that this might be because the adolescent brain needs constant stimulation, constant input to form the adolescents view of the world. Parents should encourage lots of friends with different perspectives, group dating, and exposure to as much as the world feasible for an adolescent to make good long-term decisions on who they are and what they want to be.

When it was first posted I thought it had to be a slam and snarky sarcasm. I also thought Ashley would never respond. But she did. And the follower really wanted advice on services available and where she took her kids because they speak so well. The lady opened up about her kids are way way behind the Gardner's.

What does "way behind the Gardner's mean"? Mute?!?

Obviously we all have some sort of negative view of the Gardners, but I was wondering what peoples take on the Binghams is? Personally I think they do a pretty fantastic job at parenting and don't have anything bad to say about them, is that the same for you guys?

I agree littlemissmuffet123, they do a damn good job parenting and as a result, their kids are extremely likable. Mindy's a great Mum and I wish CRAP would take a leaf out of Mindy's "How to be a Great Mom" book.

Mr Mountable's super hyped up persona, however, makes me want to grind my teeth hence I only view their vlogs occasionally if the title sounds interesting and/or if the Greedners make an appearance.

The thing that really bugs me though is their "friendship" with the Greedners. Yes, it was obvious from their first appearance in a Greedner vlog that it was a "hope this will up our subscribers and views" friendship. Fair enough. A sound business decision. Staying "friends" with the Greedners now that their subs and views are growing exponentially makes me think they are more intrinsically like the Greedners than I had originally thought.

The bigger problem I have with the Binghams is that they are putting a "sound business decision" friendship before the welfare and future potential of 4 innocent little girls. I have no doubt they totally agree with us re the Greedner's parenting of their girls but have made the decision not to raise the issue with the Greedners in order to protect their subs and views. Sorry but this goes against my grain.

Did you notice they are sticking out their tongues with their mouths open in some of these pictures too? What the? I can't ever imagine having a picture taken with my mouth wide open unless I'm playing with my kids and accidentally laughing and then I'd probably delete it. It's gross. I think it takes several vlogs for Branden Bingham to grow on you. He is loud, over the top, never shuts up, tries too hard to be a cool dad (aka talks like a teenage mutant ninja turtle) he calls his kids bro, dude, stud. Says rad, awesome, i keep waiting for a cowabunga. Luckily, he works, so is not in every second of every vlog like Tyler. The rest of the family is lovely . I have noticed they are eating a lot more donuts. They actually rescued a cat that they found in the snow near death. One of the family performed cpr and they warmed him and he lived. You have to respect that.

I don't really think they'll go out. It's so obvious how much they love a quiet evening at home--just staying in, no social media, having a nice home-cooked meal and spending quality time with their miracles.

You know what's ironic about that article on the other post (the one regarding passive parenting)? In the first paragraph, it states that passive parenting is considered the opposite of helicopter parenting. Haven't they both referred to themselves as helicopter parents?

I mean, I guess it's par for the course. They are pretty delusional about who they believe themselves to be: tax accountants, family counselors, master estheticians, naturally blonde and highly intelligent (just to name a few. What are some others? That could be fun to list )

He knows we just can't enough of his "broom brush on a basket ball" head and how it DOESN"T make our lady parts sing.

Remember the poor hairdresser for one of those chat show they did desperately trying to push down those over-gelled bristles? It looked as though she was thinking that using her foot to stamp down those bristles would be a damn sight easier than using her hands. LOL
