Steps to Controlling Your Spouse

They’re doing a ton of one-offs instead of actual vlogs lately, apparently thinking that posting one or two or three videos in a day will bring them more income than a single vlog. I think they’d be better off posting one solid 10 to 15-minute vlog a day rather than a series of gimmicky videos. People are voyeuristic and like to feel like they’re following along with other people’s daily lives. That’s what sucks them in and makes them feel invested. If they focused on being engaging in one vlog per day they might actually get somewhere. Instead they’re closed off and disengaged, posting silly videos like pranks or skits or challenges. Those can be useful content on side channels, but they’re really missing the mark by making it their only content.

I imagine as a vlogger your goal is to get people invested in your day-to-day journey, telling a small story each day and connecting with your audience. Their content as of late is really off-putting and disconnected. It doesn’t feel genuine. I found Bonnie so engaging to watch in the beginning because she just talked to the camera like she was talking to a best friend. Kelsey and Corbin have no idea how to tell a story or bring people in, most likely because they’re not particularly open or friendly. I’ve said this for a while, but they just don’t have the personality or the story to attract a large, loyal following the way other vloggers have. The only thing they have going for them is the fact that they’re childhood friends with one of the biggest vlogging families on YouTube. There’s so much content out there, that won’t sustain them for long.

My 5 and 7 year old decorated a Halloween House this year and it looks WAY better than that mess Corbin and Kelsey decorated. What on earth?! They didn't even try.

Another pancake art challenge? Please...what a ZZZZZ-fest. They need to stick to vlogging! I get that Corbin is working for Bryan now, but it feels like they've already run out of things to do in their new town - and it's only been a month! At least in Portland they had more options. Now it feels like they are really stuck out in the sticks with nothing to do but see Missy and Bryan every day.

To add to my post, I think corbin REALLY messed up by quitting his job and thinking they’d take off on YouTube... they’ve been in California for what? A month?? And they BARELY hit 200K but subs don’t mean anything bc their videos get no more than like 15K views on average... they are NOT doing well as youtubers. He really got in way over his head, I’m pretty sure he thought he could do YouTube fulltime and moving to California would have them hit 1M in no time and that they’d be rich like M&B and have their own mansion! But sorry buddy, your channel is boring as shit, GET A REAL JOB!!

It irritates me to no end. I don't begrudge people their wealth, especially if they've worked very hard to earn it. But when these low class slackers with no real education or work ethic try to cheat a system to make easy fast cash by selling out their dignity and that of their family...no...I hope they crash and burn and have to grovel and labor their way back up.

They're not managing their money well, and they can't sustain this lifestyle. You live below your means just enough so that if you lose some income, it's not as huge a blow and you can adjust. They're digging a hole and it's going to swallow them.

I think you're right that they're are digging themselves into a hole. I would be shocked if they have any long-term savings at this point, whether that's retirement, college tuition, health savings, a down payment for a house, or just the necessary rainy day fund. When you don't have that, you're dangerously close to having to resort to credit cards when shit hits the fan and life happens. I see a lot of debt too in terms of student loans and that car payment. I think they relied on the kindness and generosity of other people for way too long and they're struggling to stand on their own. I'm willing to bet that Corbin's falling out with his parents had to do with money, more specifically money that Corbin felt entitled to. I think once his parents found out Kelsey was pregnant they told him it was time for the two of them to provide for their own family and he didn't take too kindly to that. The falling out seems to have taken place around that time. I don't think his parents would willingly be so distant from their grandchild considering how involved they are with their first grandchild.

So the June’s costume thing didn’t last long.
The two vlogs a day thing isn’t working out because these two are so boring. Walking around stores is pretty much all they do. Surprised they aren’t showing of the Lumps since they’d get views from that. Maybe Bryan told him no. Trouble on the work/assistant/friend front????

Also, why are they hanging out in M&B's front courtyard??! They have such a nice area by the pool!! Maybe the pool really is broken and under repair and M&B aren't showing it for that reason.

Missy mentioned the heater in the pool was broken, but i dont think that would cause so much repair work that you couldnt still hang out there. Wouldnt surprise me if there was a bigger issue that they were not disclosing. Maybe one caused by them swimming to early in it, or rushing the workers? I love seeing karma bite B&M in the ass, they get everything they deserve with that ugly ass concrete wasteland.

It's true. They haven't even shown the pool in ages. They never even used that outdoor fireplace until a few weeks ago. And now it's a regular thing. Hope whatever it is gets fixed by their big Halloween YouTube extravaganza, I mean party. Actually, I don't. I hope it's a mess and Bryan has a Twitter meltdown.

Oh I definitely think they recognized the drone sound, but I think that would still be confusing if you weren't expecting a drone to descend on your house. I don't think they ever thought it was floating on its own. But I also think Kelsey was suppose to catch the reaction, and instead she focused the camera on the fireplace and then the floor. What's the point of filming a prank, fake or real, if you don't get the reaction on camera?

It seems like posting multiple videos a day is now a YT trend. B&M are doing it now - or at least today - and a few other daily vloggers are starting to do it too. I guess they get more views (and $$$), but it's annoying. I don't think there is any vlogger I like enough to want to watch multiple videos a day!!!

I know I'm probably the only one, but I don't think June is that cute. I actually think the vlogs got a lot worse once she was born. I liked them during the van trip...now they are just a poorer version of DBs. They really are morphing into Missy and Bryan - at least their vlogs are. In Oregon they still had some originality, now they just seem desperate.

I couldn’t even watch the whole thing because these two are such idiots. Sure yo7 can see the flames from your house yet you are so worried about getting decorations for Halloween! Would have been way more interesting to have seen them taking care of business of acting like responsible adults. Can’t believe the waste of these two. They really are becoming M&B.
No Corbin June is not going to crawl any day now.
I was amazed how dead their back yard was. This rental really does seem like a huge lemon. I thought they had big plans for the yard?

Does anyone else think June is a little behind? She's only a week younger than the JHouse family's little girl and their daughter crawls and can now stand. June can't even crawl yet. Maybe the other baby is a bit more advanced, but Kelsey also mentioned June isn't teething yet.

Teething isn't really something to worry about lol some babies don't have any teeth until after 1!

I don't watch them often and I have no idea how old she is, but the range of normal is huge in babies. She's probably fine.
