I wonder how many times he has to refilm these clips of Ollie to get him to do it just right. And does he get aggravated when Ollie can’t get it right? Have any of you read the story about the Mommy Blogger being slammed for her IG post about one of her children not pulling in as many likes as his siblings and it killing her that he wasn't as popular and he would be scarred by the low numbers one day? I SWEAR TO GOD this world we live in is slowly killing me inside.
This is Bryan through and through. This is emotional abuse for these poor children who don't know any better and can't have a choice what is shared of their lives. I hate this.

Missy is uploading boomerangs about how she hurt her arm SO bad when she pinched it on the gate. She is going on and on about how she's "trying not to cry". But she's stopping in the midst of her pain to upload boomerangs.
Is it me, or is she getting more self-important every day?

Put a Keurig pod in the coffee maker. But the pod already has a hole in it, so it obviously took more than one "take". So getting it perfect is more important than being real. Those poor kids probably really have a hard time telling reality from fantasy. What is real, and what's for the vlog?
And I guess that means Missy drinks coffee now? Or is she still addicted to her Venti tuxedo hot chocolate? 72 grams of sugar... Doesn't she get extra pumps of chocolate too?

^Yes, I agree. I also think that it's important to use more 'normal' examples of vloggers rather than always referring to Daddy of Five. I can see a lot of people saying "well Daddy of Five was horrible but Daily Bumps/Griffiths/Whatever family is nothing like them so it's okay, when really it's not. Yes, Daddy of Five may have been the extreme, but they're all exploiting their children and invading their privacy.

So true! Just because they don't scream at their children on camera doesn't mean that they aren't damaging their children. For money. Some people say that the "great lifestyles" some of these kids get to lead makes up for the exploitation. I don't think it does. I know lots of families whose children don't grow up having crazy extravagant vacations and birthday parties, or live in lavish houses, but they know their parents love them. We live in Southern California, so we've been to Disneyland a few times (not a lot) but although my kids had everything they needed, we didn't have OTT Christmases, or birthdays. And my kids are empathetic, good people who do for others what they can, and know that I love them exactly as they are and that money isn't more important than they are.
I don't think any of these people start out wanting to exploit their kids. I think that once the big money starts rolling in, and they get dependent on the views, things get mixed up. Shay once said that once the money was coming in, he would challenge himself to make more. Which puts the lie to his litany about "vlogging for the memories". But once you get in that mindset of 'how much money can I make?" it's hard to keep priorities straight.
Little kids see the "fun" and think that people like Bryan and Missy are "parenting goals" but they don't get what is really important to raise happy, healthy children who know their parents put them first.
