Here is the petition

I have their unedited version of the vlog I'm uploading for those who hadn't seen it. I'll post when it's finished. You can also find Michael's (Sam's brother) comment on the petition page, for those interested.

I saw the video from the petition link. I just gotta say, Symphony was so cute with the intial question. Their reaction (more so Sam's) was ridiculous.

And the whole government being christian. If he wants less government in our homes, then why would you want them to be involved with the church? That didn't work for so many other earlier on countries and that's why the founding fathers of America decided to have a government separated from the church

They're ugly inside and out. I feel so bad for the kids. I really hope Nature Box drops them.

I signed. Having a different opinion is fine, but coercing a child into being homophobic is disgusting. And I'm still pissed about their fake half assed apology. He's given half assed apologies before. One of my best friends believes in traditional marriage, but she doesn't oppose the Supreme Court marriage ruling because of seperation church and state (which Jesus believed in!) and the fact that other peoples' lives are none of her business. While she is morally opposed to it, she says she'll promise to try to not say anything homophobic and, though she plans on raising her children biblically, she respects their right as human beings to believe whatever they want to believe and she'd never think anything less of them if any of her kids weren't religious or were LGBT. She's a good example of how it should be done. Sam seems to think it's appropriate to ask a child their opinion and then when they don't give you the answer you want, try to coerce them to give you what you want to hear. I believe in a court of law that's considered leading the witness. Jesus loves everyone, but the Raders clearly don't.

I don't understand Michael's logic, if his beef with gay marriage is anal sex, does that mean being a lesbian is okay? If straight people try anal sex does that make them worse than lesbians???

Wow just watched the vlog and had no idea that whole part was cut out until I came on here. His reaction was disgusting. How could you edit that together and think that wasn't going to cause some backlash? Crazy.

I signed as well, I just read the entire thread within the last hour. That was truly upsetting to see them react to the simple and innocent response of their own child as if she were an idiot for not having the same opinion. I myself believe in the sanctity of marriage, but you know what I don't?

It is not my (or anyone else's) right to tell others who to love, how to live their life and whether they are wrong/right to do so. I also don't believe when and if I have children that it is my right to shame them for having an opinion I don't agree with and try to use them to perpetuate my own hate via social media.

That was honestly the worst gay marriage bashing I've seen in a long time. Don't involve children in an issue that is convoluted even to adults.

Symphony was way too young to be subjected to that by her parents.

Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I have many friends and family members who are LGBT and so many of them have been treated like scum by people claiming to love everyone. I honestly don't give a flying fuck what people believe, but what I do give a fuck about is rudeness and disrespect. Not only are the Raders teaching Symphony hatred and intolerance, they're also teaching her that her opinions aren't valid and that what parents, fathers in particular, say is always right and to never disagree with or challenge authority. Sam is doing a great job at teaching Symphony to be the perfect submissive Christian housewife just like Nia.

Michael's argument is quite literally one of the stupidest arguments I've ever read. I don't think he realizes how absolutely idiotic he sounds. And him chiming in only made it worse. His argument reminds me of the guy who told me the only time it's okay to be gay is if you're in Colorado and it's -29 degrees.

Well Sam kept asking about a man marrying another man. He only mentioned a woman marrying another women twice. His focus was men marrying each other.

Michael being gay isn't just about anal sex. Heck I know heterosexual couples who like anal.

Everyone doesn't have to believe in what I believe but to teach a 5 yr old that her feelings are wrong is not right.

I have a 7 yr old and 11 year old that I had a talk with. I said that this will be a part of history. I told them every one has a right to believe what they want and if they didn't feel it was right that it was ok. BUT do not ever treat someone badly because they believe it is right.

I feel bad saying this, but I kind of hope they don't succeed. From the start the only reason they started YT was try and have an easy job and be the next shaytards. Also I think they probably got this idea of asking about gay marriage from Jimmy Kimmel. Except Jimmy didn't show nasty reactions of "not teaching these kids better".

I just thought of something about Sam. He's a nurse at a hospital, right? Would this possibly get him in trouble with his job? He just stated on the internet, for the world to see, that he doesn't support the lifestyle of the LGBT community. This could potentially leave his job open for a lawsuit if Sam were to ever be working on a case with an LGBT patient and have it end badly. I'm not saying he gives subpar care to people who live a different lifestyle than him, but he's left himself very vulnerable to people being able to argue that case against him.

Yup and his work is public. I won't post which hospital but it is public info on his fb. Along with his address. He is an open book which is not a good thing for his kids.

And he has made fun of patients too. It was about a year ago and I can't remember all the specifics but I think he referred to a patient as a "shim" or something. Either way he made a big deal about not being able to tell the difference and got backlash from it.

That is disgusting. When you work in the medical field, you have to put personal beliefs aside and help people. Sam's job is to help people, not judge and belittle. If he wasn't sure of the patient's sex and gender, why didn't he just ask? I also don't understand how he wouldn't know. My cousin is ftm transgender and when he was first transitioning, a lot of people weren't sure which pronouns to use. My cousin never minded peof asking, as long as they were polite. And when he gets medical attention he always is upfront with the staff that he was born female but has transitioned to male and prefers male pronouns, but is still biologically female. Sam works in the ER, so maybe the patient was unconscious and wasn't able to let them know. Normally I'd say that a person's sex and gender are nobody's business, but in a medical setting it's kind of necessary to know. If he didn't know, he should have just made his best educated guess and done what the doctor said to do and maybe once the patient woke up, politely asked to clarify. Not make fun of someone on the Internet. That's dehumanizing. Sam claims to love everyone, but clearly that's a lie. He sees certain people as beneath him and less human.

Let's be honest here...Sam sees everyone has beneath him. His ego is massive.
