Did he say whether they can be retrieved? Or are the videos just lost? Would suck if they didn't have them saved somewhere else, I don't know if most of these youtubers do or just leave them on Youtube and think they will be saved there.
He's still working on getting them back, but it just happened to April&Justin.

Losing 500 videos is going to be a huge blow to their income. Wow

Am I the only one who thinks Austin should put all his racism videos on his own/a separate channel? I don't watch vlogs to be lectured and it doesn't belong on his family channel.

I think it definitely has a place on their main channel. Dealing with those kinds of issues has got to be a huge factor in their lives being a mixed race couple with biracial kids.

I'm kinda iffy on the situation. On side I'm glad Austin is making videos on those subjects because not a lot of YouTubers talk about those issues, but I think he should space them out

I get why Austin puts them on the main channel - they're important videos talking about a subject lots of people don't talk about (especially white people), so he puts them on the channel that reaches most people and is more likely to be seen. Makes sense.

I appreciate Austin's response to the Sam & Nia situation.

I find it really annoying when Austin shoves the camera in Audris face and she obviously doesn't want to be filmed. Today she told him to stop and spit at the camera. He just kept on. :(

What do you guys think about them going to counseling? Also Kailand was so adorable in today's vlog.

I think it's good that they're going to counseling, and addressing it too. Some people are super ashamed about things like that when they shouldn't be. Kailand looks so much like his sister, it's adorable. I haven't watched them in FOREVER, so this is going to sound really weird, but I used to think that Austin had like the most perfect teeth. It seems like they're shifting back, and he's been drinking a ton of coffee or something. I cannot wait to see their new baby though.

I think it's great too. Sounds like they don't actually have any big drama going on - they're just working on their marriage. They've been married what, 6 years or something? With nearly 3 young kids? Working on making sure their marriage is strong and healthy is a great thing to do. And good for them for addressing it.

don't watch them frequently, just popped into this topic as i do from time to time... but... if a marriage is not in trouble (healthy) is counseling necessary? i've not heard of people with strong marriages heading to counseling.

I would argue yes. It's almost like going for a checkup at the doctor occasionally rather than just waiting til you feel ill.

This.
We often get busy with life. Some people have communication issues. Seeing a counselor helps guide communication. People look at counseling as a bad thing when in reality they really help shed light on issues.
