Sick of his bad attitude, spending habits and runs off as far as he can get from Oliver. The "never forget" vlog came up in my recommendations today and I decided to watch, what happened to them? When did you start noticing a change in not only their personalities but how much they cherished Oliver?

Yes kids develop at different rates, but they develop a lot slower if they aren't taught things. Kids that aren't spoken to a lot are slower to talk.fossilfinger wrote:Kids develop at different rates. Oliver's speech will be just fine. Honestly, he isn't being taught anything or even exposed to educational programming. Bryan and Missy would vlog it for sure! Anything else we mention here they have to disprove ASAP, but the teaching Ollie thing they still can't be bothered.
He isn't going to suddenly "catch up" to his peers if his life is watching Disney movies, trapped in a house with two parents that ignore him, lock him in his room to "nap" and only take him out to restaurants and stores. Everyday for Ollie is the same. How is he going to learn exactly?

Remind me again why she wore the modest black bathing suit when she was in her first trimester?
Bryan says Missy is "setting unrealistic body standards for pregnant women everywhere".
I feel like she wears the tiny bathing suit for attention... it's a bit small! There's definitely nothing wrong with Missy's confidence... just saying.

Re: Daily Bums - Toddler Trapped In A Terrible Family Part 3
I have absolutely no problem with Missy's confidence in her body either(it's actually a great thing to have and both men and women should have it), but maybe the next size up on those red bottoms would have been better. They're a little too small.

"Setting Unrealistic body standards for pregnant women everywhere"
Bryan is acting like Missy is a trendsetter or an activist for pregnant women in bikinis. The only standards Missy sets is being lazy and needing her mommy every 10 seconds.

I don't think it's confidence Missy is projecting. She said so herself that when she's not pregnant, she probably won't wear a bikini again. She's mostly just showing off the fact that she's pregnant (with a way to small bikini). She LOVE the attention she gets from it. Which is whatever. She isn't the only pregnant person on the planet right now.

I think you're right. I also think this is the exact same reason she loves BFing so much.Fuzzybunz wrote:I don't think it's confidence Missy is projecting. I wish they would TRY though. They repeat the same words he knows, ok great, but how about some numbers or singing the ABCs or reading non-Disney books? I have a hard time believing the do, even off vlog.fossilfinger wrote:Kids develop at different rates. Oliver's speech will be just fine. So he's saying that it's unrealistic to look like Missy while pregnant. Why does he have to compliment her body while making a dick comment to everyone else?
I don't know any other guy that constantly talks about his wife's body to people. That seems so desperate.

Re: Daily Bums - Toddler Trapped In A Terrible Family Part 3
Does anyone remember if Missy had some custom hospital gown when she was pregnant with Oliver? Some YT moms had it and I could see her being one to have one but I don't remember. If she did, that's just whatever point in the "I don't care about Finley" category. And God that name makes me cringe. Not even sorry!

It wasn't a custom one with her monogram or anything, but she did have a Pretty Pushers modern/trendy delivery gown sent to her in exchange for a review. She raved about how cute and comfortable it was in her video, but forgot it when she went to the hospital and never actually wore it (they may not have let her anyway, especially with the c-section.spacekitty wrote:Does anyone remember if Missy had some custom hospital gown when she was pregnant with Oliver? Oh she totally would, and we'll all be hearing her say "it's so cute!" Bryan will be complimenting his (in labour) sexy wife.spacekitty wrote:Does anyone remember if Missy had some custom hospital gown when she was pregnant with Oliver? I'm sure I'm going to get flamed for his, but I think it's ridiculous to need a special nightgown just for in the hospital after delivery. If you put a ton of thought into pre-planning that, then you have a blessed life. Most people have more important things to worry about. Plusalso, the last thing you should be worrying about is how you look when you've just had a baby! I get making sure your hair is done and stuff, but what's wrong with sweatpants and a tank like the rest of the moms out there?

All children are different. I'm a stay at home mother and I spent hours teaching my first child numbers, letters and shapes daily. She was a late talker, it was scary how slow she was. Jump to 7 years old - she's in the gifted program at school and reading at a 4th grade level (she's going into 2nd grade). So honestly I don't think it has really much input later in life. Some kids just don't want to talk. It's why I hate the standard "they need to do this at this time". It really means nothing

Especially because Missy ended up with a c-section, who the hell KNOWS what is going to happen to her now? She needs to focus on her child for ONE day and she definitely won't, it makes me sad.HelloSweetie1 wrote:Oh she totally would, and we'll all be hearing her say "it's so cute!" Today's vlog... Omg! That water was GORGEOUS!!!
After my csection I wanted to be in a nursing cami and loose pajama pants. I never understood the pretty robes deal. But I guess some women really feel better when they're dressed cuter. *sits on the couch with a cut up bear face t-shirt and unflattering AA sweat shorts* ;P

Re: Daily Bums - Toddler Trapped In A Terrible Family Part 3
I disagree. It sounds like you put tons of effort in. Just because your daughter wasn't talking, doesn't mean she wasn't learning concepts, items, patterns, ideas, etc. Ollie isn't being taught. My guess is you continued to teach your daughter in the same manner even after she started talking, right? This would be a contributing factor to her advancement. My son goes to an advanced private school and parental involvement/encouragement definitely played a role in most of those kids' development. There definitely aren't any "checked out" parents like B&M.Alexdorerfaf wrote:QweenKris wrote:How is Oliver so behind in talking/speech?! They both are at home! He's an only child! Things aren't going to magically get better as he becomes older and has to share his parents' attention even more. Sorry, but it's not a switch that just needs to turn on. I think B&M truly believe he will just catch up. He's not going to learn words he isn't exposed to

Re: Daily Bums - Toddler Trapped In A Terrible Family Part 3
I hate their anniversary vlog simply because of the cuts and music, they seem to be trying so so hard to look professional, it kills. It's just purely ANNOYING to have random cuts and zaps. Missy looked so old in it too, yikes. Maybe it's a good thing she hasn't had a daughter, that poor girl would age awful too!
Sorry for me randomly coming back, I was on vacation and now I'm suddenly wanting to watch vlogs of everyone, even if it's a little late lol.
Seriously though, wtf is up with that clicky sound between footage? Yuck.
