As I recall, she was counting some contractions that weren't regular and consistent as part of her "labor". I do remember her going too long after her water breaking, and them wanting to do a C-section and her saying she wanted to keep trying. And lots of food. When I was in labor, I wasn't allowed anything but ice chips, but whatever. Maybe things have changed.
I'm not going to go back and research, so I will take your word for it about the length of her labor. She fired her doula, didn't she, because she was telling her to walk more?
And I definitely agree that her birth team was stupid. After her labor had gone more than 18 hours after her water broke, they should have said they were taking her in for a C-section. And also agree that Bryan dropped the ball big time. All he was thinking about were views and people buying "Finn's Lullaby".

It’s hard to pinpoint exactly how long she was in labour because she complained that she was in “prodromal labour” for weeks *eyeroll*.
The best I can get from old tweets is that her water broke late on the 22nd, and he was born sometime on the 24th. So, her labour was 2-3 days, and her water was broken for at LEAST 24-30 hours. Again, difficult to pin point.
Either way, after 12-18 hours with a broken water, doctors start to be concerned about infection and uterine exhaustion, which can lead to hemorrhage.
