FakingIt_MakingIt wrote: Thu Jun 13, 2019 7:07 am As usual, I enjoyed the vlog without Bonnie today. It’s interesting to me that Joel seems more motivated when she’s not around. We don’t often see him spending time with the kids in the yard, he’s usually shown hanging out with Bonnie. He even took Boston and his dad to a play!

Maybe Bonnie needs to get a job outside the house and Joel can stay home and parent.
Honestly I think getting out of the house would be so beneficial for her! Maybe having a little office space in or around the warehouse? Granted, if money is tight, that may not be an option? Do they not having a Starbucks in Logan? Go work at the library, a Starbucks, Panera, somewhere... It’s not like they’re daily vlogging and it’d hurt their content.

We need a moderator to come control this person! They seem the bash anyone and everyone that doesn’t agree with them. If they were telling the truth, they could easily show receipts (names hidden of course). Not that hard to block out people and companies names....

Bri just posted an insta-story captioned "moving to Montana".
We all knew her time with Bonnie was coming to an end, Im curious if they play it out like they don't have anyone or if they introduce the new girl?

I looked at Olivia's baptism and it was nicely done too. I did noticed Joel looks better without a beard and I don't know if his hair transplant will make a big difference? I might have Cody see a specialist about his height just to be sure nothing is being missed. I get the impression he might not be even as tall as Joel?
My brother was short and tiny until he hit puberty, he is 6,3 now. I was 5,5 when I was 11. They thought I would be so long, im all grown and still 5,5.

This explains why Joel isn't partying with Bonnie in NY

I also don’t find him that small. My mom is 5’7, dad is 6’4. My sister turned out to be a 6 foot volleyball player and I say I’m 5’4, but I’m not even that tall, really. Cody isn’t even close to puberty age. Not that his parents are that tall...He has plenty of time, in my opinion.

I actually liked his vlog today. Bonnie stresses me out. I also agree she should work away from home and he should be the SAHD. He seems to enjoy being with the kids..as she does not. Sad.

Would you find it sad if a father preferred to work and not stay home?

If she was more self-aware and just admitted that a less traditional dynamic worked best for them, I would fully support it. No parent should have to stay home if they aren’t fulfilled by it. Being a stay at home parent isn’t for everyone and that’s ok.

Idk I could be wrong but I read that as sad that she doesn't enjoy spending time with her kids. Not sad that he seems she doesn't fit some sahm stereotype or something

Same. Bonnie doesn’t seem to enjoy spending time with her kids, that wouldn’t matter if Joel worked outside the home or she did. Where as Joel has always seemed to enjoy being with his kids, both when he worked outside the home and now (granted he doesn’t spend enough time with them IMO).
I think it’s really sad that their mother doesn’t seem to value them for who they are as individuals and want to spend time with them. Not because of some gender stereotype saying she should be this amazing stay at home mom but because she’s their mother. Period.

There are plenty of marriages where the dad stays home and the mom goes to work. Nothing wrong with it as long as the couple agrees and feels comfortable with their decision.
I can't wait to see how Bonnie handles a new nanny, will she be as demanding as she was with Bree? Hopefully she will not have her cleaning the bathroom in video, embarrassing her. I really don't think there are to many nannies that will put up with that. Bree was a one of a kind, very sweet, reliable, kids loved her, she will definitely be missed!
As for having $2 or $3 million in the bank. We will never know, but I highly doubt it. I can't see them being paid $50,000 for a brand deal. They are not getting big views anymore. Companies are not going to pay big money for 50,000 to 70,000 views, not everyone of those viewers are going to run out and buy the product.
They have been awfully quiet about the property. No late night bon-fires, no ATV riding or camping. I have a feeling it's up for sale. I think if they had millions in the bank, they would have bought that property with cash. Why pay interest on a loan if they don't have to.

I am somewhat unsure Bri is moving to Montana. I saw the post on IG about they are in Big Sky, but they just completed renovating a home and living the dream with this boy doesn't mean they've moved. I could be wrong and is there something I'm missing? There has been a few post talking about babies and it gives the impression they want to start their family. I also get the impression they purchased some land in Utah at some point, but I could be wrong on this one too?

Just as "some proof" of what YTers make from #ADs. Dave Days has come out and said he made at least $50K for this Pop-Tarts video (AD). Bonnie has roughly the same # of followers, so she could expect the same price range when working with big companies...like she did recently with Kellogg's.

I have NEVER said I know what Bonnie really makes, but it's safe to guess she's considered one of the higher paid YTers/SM influencers. It's just the way the online world works these days.

I'm not trying to be mean. I just want people to understand they are making a lot more than SOME people here think!

Also, asking me about my personal life and job and WHERE I LIVE are against the rules of this board as well.

It is NOT against the rules to ask for receipts if you are going to claim you are more informed. No one told you that. No one asked about your personal life until you kept bringing it up. We don’t care where you live or what you do, we’re trying to talk about Bonnie (C&K, E&J, etc) and your making it about your own personal knowledge of whatever the topic is. Trouble is, the claims are becoming not only questionably convenient, but inconsistent.

If someone claims to know a YTer for example, we have always asked for proof. If someone says they have kids, but then on another board says they do not, it has always been called out. PM a mod or someone you trust with any info to confirm. Easy as that! With posters that have a questionable post history, we have always confirmed claims (like when Sapphire said she was pregnant). It is questionable that you always seem to know more than everyone else because you are in the business. Originally you said you were a journalist and knew about brand deals from that, but now you have clients and can’t disclose their contracts? No one asked you to disclose contracts at all... ever. It isn’t against the rules to confirm where someone is if they claim to be from multiple areas.

With the piece Joel showed for the RV tanks, they are going on another camping trip and the item he made I believe Bonnie said was to prevent kids from falling out of bunk beds. My question or pure speculation on my part is they bought a new RV with bunk beds or is this a type of brand deal like Julie did recently with a Class B RV. I like their camping vlogs.
It is difficult to take Joel serious about safety when you watch them vlog over the years.
"know what this is you know what we're about to go do for the fun event that we're gonna do I have to make a few little things for it for safety purposes because I don't want no kids getting hurt on this trip"
