The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
Major clickbait.
I have no evidence obviously but I’m getting the vibe that Elle is having an affair. Maybe just an emotional affair, but I think he’s got a little secret of her own

Also I’m not up to date on her videos so maybe it’s old news, but I noticed a new Dyson airwrap in her latest selfie. A $600 hair dryer. I’d love to know how much she spent on herself in 2019, while her kids only get a couple toys (book, farting ninja) for Xmas.

It's so weird that I get that feeling she's having some kind of affair too. Maybe because everytime she speaks of her husband it's always a low key jab and never anything positive. A person who feels that way toward their partner will eventually look somewhere else.TeachIT wrote:Major clickbait.

Anyway, she totally clickbait today's video. No Youtuber wants to be a real life friend to their audience. Sure, it can happen but when it does it happens organically. No one reaches out to their viewers to want to get personal. Elle saying that if she can go their house if she can she would comes off as "I want my audience to feel I care so they will get excited to watch the new videos I'm about to promote!".

I’m 100% not here to back Elle up, lol, but I’m not sure I agree that today’s title was click bait? Someone said she click baited her and Dan being apart... did I miss something? The video didn’t say anything about them being apart. I think it’s a nod to her past when she was alone at Christmas, and I do truly feel for her and anyone else who has to be alone at Christmas, it can be extremely heartbreaking, and is obvious by the higher rate of suicide during the holidays. I think it was nice of her to acknowledge that BUUUUT... (don’t think I’m getting soft here ladies) in TRUE ELLE FASHION, she undermines her niceties with EvErYtHiNg we can expect from her in the coming year! Yay! What a fucking twit.
I absolutely think she’s having an affair, if she isn’t yet, she certainly will be. It’s obvious, hopefully dan can see that and is preparing accordingly. He wasn’t even at that party, typical. Elle wouldn’t want to be seen in public with him.
Anyone notice her deflated lips in the video?? Maybe dan is stepping in on her ridiculous spending. Or maybe she realized she looked crazy.
And then instastories “my friends are better than your friends” EW! I cringed... and someone called her out on it and she retaliated AND posted the screenshot (I’ll attach it) she’s disgusting and childish. Obviously why real adults like Amanda and Joanna don’t want anything to do with her

Also... WHERE THE FUCK WAS HER DAD WHEN SHE WAS ALONE AT CHRISTMAS?!?! And her sister?!?! She plays the victim role SO WELL! Most people have literally NO ONE! I bet they were reaching out to her and she wanted to wallow. It’s so weird how she never addresses any of this stuff
Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
I think it felt like click bait to me because of her rambling on and on about “family problems” yesterday, then posting “my first Christmas alone!” today. Obviously knowing people will jump at that and want to know why she isn’t with her husband and why she’s alone
From the video she clearly means her first Xmas alone YEARS ago, but she made it seem like THIS Christmas was her first one alone.

The actual title of the video isn’t necessarily clickbait, but the image of the video is. “My first Christmas alone” implies she’s spending the holidays alone. I don’t care to watch the video.. but she’s an asshole for doing that

Oh yea, 100% it seems click baity considering what she said on stories yesterday. Also in stories, right after she mentioned all of her family issues, she went right in to today’s “heartfelt vlog” which, before watching, implies that this Christmas is alone.
I hear you guys, I’m on board with the click bait now that I have the facts.

Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
I totally thought it was click baity once I watched the video. Especially taking into account the whole we’ve been going through some things behind the scenes. I’m sorry, I hate when people do that. If you never said anything, we wouldn’t have known. But now that you put it out there obviously were going to wonder/ask questions.
And I’ve been saying for awhile that i thought an affair was on the horizon or already taking place. Especially with all this emphasis on her looks.
Look, from afar, when Elle is in public I’m sure she draws attention from guys being tall, blonde and thin. And she probably eats up that attention. And since the baby didn’t fill that hole in her life and it’s clear she is repulsed by Dan, she’s ripe for another man’s affection.
Sadly, I think Dan is in love with Elle and will put up with a lot of shit. He’d probably even forgive her for having an affair.
But my question is, what kind of guy would Elle even go for? I have no idea what her “type” is.

Her type is rich.
Dan just happens to be decently attractive. He was always good with money and now makes enough to fund her lifestyle. That’s literally all she cares about

Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
The pics she posted on Instagram of her kids opening presents made me sad. They had like two presents and I know material things don’t matter but they have the means to spoil their kids a little. I obviously wouldn’t say this if she didn’t spoil herself so dang much.

Side note: Poor Dan, can you imagine how hard she is to shop for???? She buys herself anything she wants the instant she decides she wants it. Her “ETHOS” is constantly changing, her taste is beyond expensive, and she has no problem being flat out mean when something isn’t EXACTLY the way she wants it.
My husband got me one gift: an Apple Watch. We are somewhat minimalists, my old watch was series ONE and is almost 5 years old, I’ve used it until some features have worn out (heart rate). I wouldn’t ever buy myself one this time of year, because my focus is on my kids, even though I need the text/email features for work. My old one was regifted to a teen who LOVES it. That’s minimalism - not replacing working items with new ones just because it’s trending.
Elle? If she wanted it, she’d order it immediately.
My kids got “less” gifts than my nieces, but quality things they wanted. A wooden balance board, some very sturdy RC cars, cast plastic dinosaurs of their fav species, their favorite books, specialty candies with a personal connection. Elle put so little thought into her kids toys! I was genuinely shocked watching her video about it. It’s like she doesn’t even know her own kids. There’s no shame in how many or how few items you get your children, but make it count. Get them what their hearts desire, even if it’s as simple as their favorite candies or book. Show them you listen to their likes and dislikes, show them you take an interest in their interests, and show them they are a priority! I feel so sad for her kids, not because of how little they got, but because of how little THOUGHT and LOVE she put into it.
And I don’t believe her kids are too young to care. My kids are 13, 5, 2, & newborn. Even my 2 year old noticed the thought I put into getting him his favorite board book from PreK, or his a box of his favorite candy all to himself.

Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
I’ll just say it, I find Dan incredibly unattractive. Almost to the point of icky, but that’s just me. I think Elle also finds him unattractive and is only there for the money. Her type? Definitely rich. She doesn’t care about any other qualities humans posses, which is think is apparent by the fact that she is so wishy washy with her own values and likes/dislikes. She doesn’t even know what she wants for her own life, she’s in no place to make sound decisions about what she wants in a partner. I agree though, Dan is either so spineless or so blindly in love with her that he wouldn’t leave even if she had an affair.
Elle’s version of minimalism literally applies to everyone who lives in her house but not her. She allows them to have so little so she can have so much. So much more money to spend on herself, so much more visual space to enjoy the things only she enjoys. She literally has no room in her soul to allow other to live and flourish, and it’s obvious by the way she lives and treats others. Elle’s life is Elle, Elle, Elle.

Also, this needs to live here forever, this child is ugly as hell, and Elle couldn’t even wipe her nose for this photo. Ew.

No, it’s not. Just a long time lurker, who never writes. English is not my first language. I agree with you guys in most of the things mentioned in this thread, but calling sombody (and especialy a baby/kid) «ugly as hell» made me sad to read that’s all.Margie wrote:That you Elle??

I get it. I feel bad for Elle’s kids, I really do. She has been exploiting them for years in various marketing ploys (trying to become a daily Christian family vlogger, trying to sensationalize her infertility and pregnancy, etc).
But also - that’s why I don’t put my kids out there and use them in social media to get likes. Yes, you might gather positive attention but you’ll also get negative attention. Hence YT’s recent crack downs.
Don’t want people calling them ugly or pointing out there snot filled faces? Elle should stop posting them and exploiting them for likes.

Wait, her mom was abusive and made Elle and #abusesurvivor but he most recent post celebrates her mom as a great person Blankette will never meet? I’m confused.
