A few moms in groups on Facebook were complaining about not being able to get their kids in to get glasses because of Covid.. Probably the same situation for them

Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
Just catching up with the last couple of vlogs, she's on about her teeth, which looked fine before to be honest.
I wish she'd be more pro active with getting speech therapy for Rosie than her teeth, lips look fuller too.

Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
I'd never heard of this family until the Stauffer stuff blew up, now she's all over my recommendations. So she has 8 kids? HOW does any one person have that many kids and still find time to remember to turn on a camera, record and whatever it is they all do.... like, WHY??? I find it highly annoying. No, I won't be subscribing but from the little I've seen, it all seems staged, sketchy and very questionable.
Another family, another clout business. Sigh.

Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
The four older kids only need minimal supervision. The boys are constantly out with friends and I believe the two older girls help out with the little kids a lot. Her husband also quit his job since her stuff does so well so she’s got a lot of help. She doesn’t seem to cook or clean that much overall... i think her husband does the majority of those tasks and they get groceries delivered most of the time. I generally like her... my complaints are generally about her need to constantly spend money on herself and the fact that they don’t have their special needs daughter in therapyspeaktruth2 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 6:11 am I'd never heard of this family until the Stauffer stuff blew up, now she's all over my recommendations. Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
My only big complaint on Angie is that Rosie needs more outside therapy and outside help. This isn’t discounting the family but when you have a diagnosis you need outside specialists. It is what it is. And she isn’t a parent of 1 or 2 who can spend that time doing all the therapy with Rosie herself. Also she need to stop having more children! 8 is plenty and I’m not sure how you can give the children 1:1 time as is let alone with more. Overall though I don’t dislike her. I’m not religious so that can be a bit off putting to me personally but I believe everyone is entitled to their beliefs.

Being Rosie is 3rd oldest...and special needs, I don't follow how you think she only needs minimal supervision.LisaLulu22 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 8:30 amThe four older kids only need minimal supervision. Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
I thought the boys were older than Rosie.. My bad. I'm not their mother I don't need to keep up on their ages. Plus if you read the rest of the paragraph I wrote you would clearly understand it's an age mess up. Sorry you felt the need to make such an unnecessary commentgibberish wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 2:19 pmBeing Rosie is 3rd oldest...and special needs, I don't follow how you think she only needs minimal supervision.LisaLulu22 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 8:30 amThe four older kids only need minimal supervision. Noah and Rosie are the same age, not sure who is older but it is by months. Then Jonah, the twins and Ben.

What’s up with Angie? She’s starting to look really really thin, and her voice sounds completely different. Seems weird

Quarantine mania (this is not a diagnosis of anything. Just a state of mind a lot of us have from quarantine)longtimelurker182 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 09, 2020 4:19 pm What’s up with Angie? She’s starting to look really really thin, and her voice sounds completely different. Seems weird

I think she is going crazy with lip fillers, botox and her eyebrows and she keeps losing weight.

I watch their cooking videos because I like watching cooking in general, and they make dishes I've never seen before, plus I'm always interested in how they're feeding 10 people. I gotta say though, I wouldn't call a bowl full of pre-packaged meat, cheese and pasta "healthy" just because it also has some chopped vegetables in it lol

Not sure what that has to do with it, I was just pointing out that he called the meal healthy when it's objectively not lol. It looked good, though.LisaLulu22 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 11:55 amHave you ever tried to feed kids?damondaniel wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 9:35 am I watch their cooking videos because I like watching cooking in general, and they make dishes I've never seen before, plus I'm always interested in how they're feeding 10 people. Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
It's pasta with meat and vegetables. It's balanced, and to your disbelief it is healthy. Besides, it was a side to go with something else. I'm assuming you don't regularly feed kids since you didn't give an answer. Putting a plate of just veggies and meat in front of most kids will basically guarantee a tantrum and refusal to eat (moreso the little ones) a mixed dish like that leads to the kids being more likely to eat it. Kids need protein and veggies and carbs believe it or notdamondaniel wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 1:04 pmNot sure what that has to do with it, I was just pointing out that he called the meal healthy when it's objectively not lol. Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
I get what you're saying. Here they advise us to stay away from carbs like white pasta, and processed salty meat like that (and i do feed kids, who eat meat and fish without salt or sugar added). I didn't see it was just a side either, i thought it was presented as the main meal. I watch cooking videos here and there too, even if something isn't healthy I might find something to try now and again.damondaniel wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 1:04 pmNot sure what that has to do with it, I was just pointing out that he called the meal healthy when it's objectively not lol. Angie looked like she's lost a lot of weight in her last vlog, especially around the cheekbones. Maybe it was just makeup and different proportions from the filler etc. I hope she stays healthy, and a bit less preachy.

Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
I just finished her book. It's not really anything new than what she's already shared on her videos. I'm glad she got the opportunity to cross writing a book off her list but I was a little bummed. She is more spiritual in the book but I almost felt she was trying too hard to appeal to a Christian mom crowd. I felt she's more authentic on her channel.

Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
I haven’t been on this site since like Christmas but I just about lost it and had to say something. Angie wants to homestead. Angie the queen of eyebrow appointments, dying her hair, lip fillers, manicures, and shopping wants to get down and dirty with some horses and a garden on a homestead? Hahahahaha please. CR would end up doing everything. Everything! Child care, cooking, animal care, yard work, etc. while Angie would every now and then walk out there with a cute outfit and smile with those hotdog lips holding a shovel acting like she’s doing work. Hilarious. You want to buy some land, build a house, have a horse, give your kids more room to play? Absolutely. Do it. But a freaking homestead? Can you see Angie milking a cow and digging up potatoes? She’d break a nail and wrinkle her lovely skin out there in the sun. Stay in your lane Angie.

Just watching the vlog with the kids on horses, showed a lot of the younger kids but literally a 4 second clip of Rosie.
