Re: BumpsAlongTheWayToTarget Part 8
Spreadshirt (their "merch" store parent company) makes it very easy to understand product cost and commission payout.
I don't recall the original Karma case price... So let's say it was $16.99 like the current cases.
Spreadshirt base price on an iPhone hard case is $10.50... this is considered the "cost" of the item. The remaining $6.49 is your commision pay out... or profit... when the product is purchased.
The commission is designated by the seller in two categories "Design" and "Shop-Product." The "Design" commission is exactly what it sounds like... specific to that design... While the "shop product" is applied to all items in your shop. Either way... It's money in your pocket.
Point being: the profit from selling ONE case was/is most likely $6.49. So if he "donated" $300... It works out to be around 46 phone cases.
I'm having a hard time finding if discount codes (such as 20% off) have any impact on commissions though... If so, he very well may have sold more than 46... But still only netted $300 in profit.
Something important to note:
A donation in December? Doubtful...
Spreadshirt pays out quarterly, having opened their merch store 11/9/13... They wouldn't have actually RECEIVED any profits until the end of January 2014.

I don't think the minions know yet, unless they're stalking this page like crazy...in which case wouldn't Bryan have addressed "us" on Twitter like he technically did ("I don't want any links to that website") when the Craigslist stuff happened?Bananaslush wrote:I haven't liked them for awhile, but this is honestly making my stomach queasy. They are such horrible people, lying manipulative people. And to think that their minions will never stray, at least I doubt they would. Someone just tweeted them telling them to check their po box cause she had sent something to them, the fact that people still send these two things sickens me.

Is this even out to their viewers? Dailybumps isn't tagged in the comment. I really feel for the ranch. This is a non profit org and the bumps just scammed them. Sad!
Re: BumpsAlongTheWayToTarget Part 8
Ok, everyone. I know we have a lot of opinions and we want to lash out about the shocking events that we have watched unfold. A lot of us are frustrated, and rightly so! Many were victims of this scam. Many were taken for an emotional ride. Some of you were verbally attacked when you asked questions. If someone becomes defensive when you ask a reasonable question such as, "what happened to the donation money?"…that is a red flag.
At this point we need to respect ongoing investigations and let the professionals handle it. Don't loose hope because we are going to right many wrongs. I mean, we technically just saved horses from the pain of starvation and even death! I am very proud to have helped with this. This ranch is not able to come up with the food they need every month and has been relying on its neighbors. I know a lot of us are strapped for money and feel bad for not being able to donate to the Blue Pearl Project. If you can not donate please send a word of encouragement and support to the Oak Meadows ranch via email, phone call, or their Facebook page. This many very well end up on the news. Please take the initiative and act on behalf of yourself, and if not yourself, please speak up for the horses that are not able to speak for themselves.
We have all been thrown into this and everything has been moving quite fast. For now please direct your comments of support to https://www.facebook.com/oakmeadowsranch. Thank you to everyone for staying vigilant and asking questions! You really did help a community. I am glad I was able to be part of it. Also….
Public Service Announcement : If you want donate to an organization do so directly to the organization and not through anyone claiming to be collection donations. If you would like to donate to the horse ranch, please do so directly at the Blue Pearl Project’s website, here: http://www.bluepearlproject.com/index.html or http://www.oakmeadowsranch.com/index.html and feel free to email, write a letter or call the owners for a word of support or concern. They are very nice, hard working people. You have their appreciation and many thanks!

Re: BumpsAlongTheWayToTarget Part 8
The ranch had NO IDEA of them doing what they did. And if they had already made the donation, they would have saved a recipe or confirmation email or something. Bryan would have said, "No, we donated money." But he didn't , it paid the $300 to them AFTER they called him.
Paying it when they called just proves that he NEVER gave them the money. They also used their name and video without consent.

Oh, wow. Wait until their viewers see that. Think they'll lose a lot of them? I'm kind of shocked they would go that far to scam people, knowing there is a high possibity of be exposed.

Ya really, how could they think they would get away with this, the truth comes out easily enough in day to day life, when you put your life out there on the internet and the truth affects many the odds of that truth coming out are through the roof!
Re: BumpsAlongTheWayToTarget Part 8
I didn't - I never saw the comment. I was on the page refreshing every 10 minutes or so while procrastinating on the laundry so he must have taken it down pretty quick.mommyluvv wrote:Did anyone get a screen shot of what bryan responded with?
