Re: Bumsalongtheway Part 10
We are so exhausted with our one child, but hey let's have another baby! Wouldn't surprise me if they got pregnant soon...Bryan probably wants to pop out another ASAP for more views! & missy had to wear that dress in her video so she looks like a "housewife." Lol! I wonder how much she will actually use her kitchen besides heating up a hot pocket or throwing Oliver a pouch of food. I feel so bad for Ollie when they just give him those pouches while they eat other food right in front of him! In yesterday's video did she mention why Ollie had to wear the same outfit the next day? She obviously must not clean up after him or she would have known there were blueberries in his seat before she sat him in it! Also- if they were living in that big house with her parents because they both couldn't afford it alone...how are her parents affording that house now that Bryan and missy moved out?
Re: Bumsalongtheway Part 10

Her kitchen is bland colored to begin with. If she was going to go with a "colors theme" she should have done much brighter colors and maybe just gone with the teal that they have in their living room. And it bothers me that they have a stainless steel refrigerator but their dishwasher and stove are white.. I watch a lot of HGTV lol.

Re: Bumsalongtheway Part 10
It's not my taste....I agree with others who have said it looks like what you do with your first apartment out of college. I am going to ahead and call it that she'll redo the kitchen in a few months when she gets tired of it. it's not much of a theme to begin with. What do owls have to do with mason jars? And what does any of that have to do with the super modern silverware she chose? I am glad she likes it. Everyone should do what makes them feel happy...but I just don't get the theme. In my kitchen I just went with a color scheme. which is basically just stainless steel with bright red appliances. The parts that don't match only don't match because I got them as wedding presents and I'm not about to waste money or try to return them just because things don't match. When they break, then I'll buy a new one and get everything to coordinate. I'm responsible with money. btw in case everyone was confused I think it's fine if people use mason jars for glasses, particularly those who find them functional or also use them for canning, get them used, repurpose them, etc. I'm just annoyed at this new hipster thing where EVERYTHING is mason jars. I live in a city and every hipster bar you go to serves drinks in Ball mason jars...FOR NO REASON EXCEPT THAT IT'S SUDDENLY POPULAR...it just looks really earthy or eco-friendly or some crap because it makes you think of farms or something. just city slicking nonsense. idk, clearly I just have a pet peeve about this.
Re: Bumsalongtheway Part 10
I feel like her kitchen tour video was just her wanting to show all the shit she bought from target. Another possible attempt to get sponsored?
And I don't know who mentioned the amount of times she said "items" but OMG I wanted to turn the video off just because of that!

Did anyone else notice how choppy Bryan's editing was? Like he kept cutting off her from talking, and his editing just sucked.
Re: Bumsalongtheway Part 10
I guarantee the only reason they went grocery shopping was so that they would have stuff in their cupboards when they filmed the kitchen tour.

I agree that the editing was much sloppier than usual. I also would have imagined that they would have cleaned up a little bit. The table was full of electronic cords and stuff, I guess if it were me and I was specifically showing off my kitchen, then I would make sure to clean up each area before we focused on it. I also just got annoyed at little things like calling the glasses 'cups' and how she kept saying 'mason jar look'..... she could have googled what look she was actually trying to go for (possible rustic with the mason jars?). Overall, I think they would have benefitted from not rushing into and waited until they actually did something to change the kitchen, she just threw a bunch of stuff in there from Target, I say a bunch, but really it was just a few cookie jars, a rug, and a towel. Plates and glasses don't really count as decoration in my opinion. They should have done some window treatments, etc.

I absolute HATE when people buy mason jars to use as glasses. It's so obnoxiously hipster. Sorry if I've offended anyone who does use them, but look, the only thing cute about using mason jars as glasses is when they're repurposed (i.e.: you're being eco-friendly using old jars as water glasses). Then it has an authentic shabby chic look that would look nice in a slightly old-world european or country deco theme. There's nothing more obnoxious than people pretending to be eco-friendly by BUYING something that is brand new but looks old. There is this restaurant that we go to in my town that uses mason jars as glasses. As much as I like the food, I cringe at how hipster it is. They probably paid extra for a set of 100 or so glass mason jars they will never use for canning when they could have just bought glasses for less money and the same carbon footprint.
Okay, rant over.
Mason jars as glasses isn't just a hipster thing. My southern farmer grandma has had mason jars as glasses since forever & gave me extras and I use them. I didn't know people were using them as a "hipster" thing now
I guess I'm out of the hipster loop BC I thought it was a southern/Midwest thing. I hate using them BC of the rims tho.

The editing was probably bad because the poor guy works so darn hard all day that he falls asleep while editing, Lol. Anyone else see that pic that I'm referring to? I think it was on their Instagram.newYTmommy wrote:I agree that the editing was much sloppier than usual. I also would have imagined that they would have cleaned up a little bit. I agree, I was annoyed by her calling the glasses "cups" too. I had to laugh and smh when she was showing the lids with straws that she bought for the mason jars. She said they would be good for using out by the pool. Is she f'ing kidding? We have a swimming pool in our backyard and as a rule, we NEVER use glass drinking glasses out there. Broken glass is virtually impossible to see under water and on the bottom of a swimming pool. And as someone with small children, I guarantee many a drinking glasses will be dropped on the pool deck. Best not use a glass that will shatter all over the place and cut little feet. Idiots.
And speaking of window treatments... In one if the recent vids I saw what looked like a blue curtain hanging in one of the bedroom windows. It looked like it was a good 10-12 inches too short for the window. As in, 10-12 inches ABOVE the sill. WTH? Lol! Did Missy do that or was it the previous renters? Ugh, trashy. She needs to spend some time browsing some decorating websites and taking lots of notes.
I also have issues with her using the word "nauseous" to describe herself having an upset stomach rather than using the correct word which is "nauseated". There's definitely a difference. When she says "I'm nauseous" that actually means she's causing nausea. For example; Missy and Bryan's incessant complaining and laziness are nauseous. Lots of people get those two words confused though so... oh well.

Anyway- what a lazy person. She can't bring the dog to the park with her and her baby? Jeez how is she going to handle another child? When Kenzie was that age I would always take our dog for a walk with her jn the stroller. And now we go to the park and she can throw balls and sticks for him.

I really hate to be THAT person. But hearbltea... You're just wrong lol.
Nauseous means to be affected with nausea. Nauseated is past tense. If I wasn't on my phone I would happily provide the c&p of the definitions.

nauseating adjective
: causing you to feel like you are going to vomit
: causing disgust
nauseous
: feeling like you are about to vomit
: causing you to feel like you are going to vomit
: causing disgust
Full Definition of NAUSEOUS
1: causing nausea or disgust : nauseating
2: affected with nausea or disgust
Those who insist that nauseous can properly be used only in sense 1 and that in sense 2 it is an error for nauseated are mistaken. Current evidence shows these facts: nauseous is most frequently used to mean physically affected with nausea, usually after a linking verb such as feel or become; figurative use is quite a bit less frequent. Use of nauseous in sense 1 is much more often figurative than literal, and this use appears to be losing ground to nauseating. Nauseated is used more widely than nauseous in sense 2.

I honestly don't understand why people argue about this all the time, though...
