I think it's funny when someone comes on a thread and says that they know a youtubber and then they are judged on being truthful or not depending on if their story supports people's opinions. If it's a thread where the yter is hated they will be readily believed if they say the yter is a bitch. If they say something awful about a yter people like, then they are immediately discredited. People are funny and predictable. Reminds me of political spin machines.

Please.... this is obviously in reference to the Bonnie board. After the Sapphire saga I call BS on any poster that says they know a YTer until there is further proof. This has nothing to do with how I feel about what they are saying.

I questioned the poster that said they'd been burned by E&J too, and I'm no fan of theirs. Ask Krypto who called for the ip check in the first place

If you want to believe any story you hear then why should my opinion offend you? Believe what you want. I wasn't the only one that said it was vague. It didn't need to be a thing until Sarai tried to call me out about it.

The term "minion" whenever someone posts something that isn't entirely negative. It's possible to have nuanced opinions of a youtuber. In fact, I think people who just hate everything a youtuber does are just as irrational as people who love everything a youtuber does.

You literally can't say anything nice/positive, even if it's reasonable, without getting called a minion or being told to crawl out of the youtubers ass. It's so annoying. If you don't like what someone says then ignore it and keep it moving. Yet some of those same posters will tell you to ignore them and keep it moving if you dare disagree with them or the masses. Hypocrisy much?

This is so weird of me, but I'm just going to blame it on my OCD, lol. I hate when the "thanks" are at an odd number, and I always feel obliged to "thank" a post that has an odd number of thanks, just to make it an even number. (as long as I agree with the post obviously)

But, now that the "thanks" stopped showing up for me...I feel so, like, lost here. Hahah

Making things about ones self and getting all butt hurt and offended. Example:

User1: Damn X is such a crappy mom, look at her feeding the kids junk, they now all have anemia, no way they are ALL picky eaters.

User2:My kid is very picky and I have to resort to feeding him less healthy stuff sometimes too, I suppose this means I'm a crappy mom huh?

There was a big fuss in the Cullen and Katie thread, because someone said that since they both are at home, they should be able to get their place organised, and stop complaining. And people started off with "so only working people's opinions matter". What? Nobody said that, or put down SAHP in general. We were talking about C&K. Sigh.

And here is my .02

There is a big difference between gossiping on someone and being a fan but trying to hide your 'love' with misguided attempts of throwing shade at both the vlogger to fit in. It is increasinly obvious when you bait other posters with your passive aggressive posts putting us all in our place with a smile. And I am sure you would whine about it being "your opinion". The thing is that is not actually the point. If it was truly your opinion then just state it and interact with the other posters instead of alienating them with your polite smackdowns and justifying it through your life expiriences.

This is a gossip board and I am sure we can all get along regardless of the level of love or dislike of a vlogger. Yet there is always someone who loves the vlogger getting butt hurt. Why? I think people would react better if you just said yes I am a fan and then posted the gossip you wanted rather than what you are doing. But ripping at members here because you are taking things personal makes no sense.

Honestly though, about the personal thing... I think there are some issues that it's near impossible for people to not take personally. If things are being nitpicked, and it isn't something YT specific, then it's hard to not voice a difference of opinion if you're coming at it from a different direction. Example: only lazy parents keep their babies in sleepers past 6 months of age, or people who didn't go to university are stupid. I'm sure most people have been offended by a sweeping statement at some point on these boards. It's hard not to if it's an issue you have a difference of opinion about due to having actually experienced it.

But I agree, the passive aggressive comments are annoying af, whether pro-YTer, or anti-YTer. Just voice your opinion and own it. No need to dismiss others in the process.

Oh, I don't have a problem with getting annoyed about sweeping statements like you're mentioning. You're right to. But yeah, the passive aggressive stuff gets annoying... Oh well. I am sure I annoy a few people!

Yes I agree. I am sure we all have been irritated by sweeping statements. Most people just let them go and some bring them up. To me it appears that some people pull the butthurt card and then use their 'experience' on all things about their loved vloggers. I think they are in denial about the vlogger and come hell or highwater are going to set us in our place. They don't pick their battles well at all. Always over the silliest of stuff and then get passive aggressive.

Here is a good example. Everyone has an opinion about housekeepers and the debate goes on and on and none of us are duking it out. Then there is a certain few that get all nutso. lol

LOL-- especially when several of us have said that we don't care that people have housekeepers. Most of us also hate housework and would have one as well! It's pretending they don't have one, and work so hard, and are SO tired, because of all that cleaning. Or not using the time freed by having the housekeeper to be with their kids or do anything besides play on their phones. But somehow that gets ignored, and it turns into "well _I_ would have a housekeeper if I had the money. I guess that means I'm lazy too" You half expect a "so there!" at the end of the post. Neener neener.
