I agree. The house looks lived and you get a sense of the family that lives there. Remove some photos and anyone could live in E&Js house. I appreciate a more "collected" look in someones decor, where they have new pieces mixed with old and stories behind things like "Oh I got this at a flea market for 50 cents and this was my grandmothers" Again, E&Js house lacks that.

I also dont think K&Cs house is dirty, just messy and those are two way different things.

Oh, but don't forget the painting from Ellie's grandma. It's hung up, pride of place, in the.......laundry/toilet room, lol.

I hate all these sponsored vlogs around the holidays. They are pretending they just love cvs and shop there all the time. lol

I guess I don't have an issue with these sponsors vlogs since they have to earn a living. I am paid for my time, so why shouldn't they get paid for their time...you can even skip through them.

Katie got the Mercedes after they moved back from Florida, which is I think 5 years ago now? Most likely it has been paid off for awhile now. Before that she had a C class, I'd imagine she's only ever driven Mercedes.

I was going to mention this earlier, she's had the Mercedes for quite a few years. I don't think youtube has effected their choice in cars. The whole family drives Suburbans and like you said, Katie has probably only driven Mercedes. People seem to forget that C&K were doing just fine financially long before they started YT as their job.

I just watched today's vlog and it was titled something like "Are you pregnant?". Katie was vomiting and unwell and it looks like she had a fever in the end of it. I noticed lots of comments saying click bait. Anyhow, I went to write a comment (a nice one) and the video was gone. I'm guessing Cullen is changing the title and screenshot (it had a pg test on it too). If he is, good for him. Guess I was wrong, https://twitter.com/Culligan27 I'll be curious if he changes it though.

I thought they made it clear she wasn't pregnant, but they may want another child. I think she wants to enjoy Brooks while he's still a baby. Katie's choices in clothes are the one thing that gets me about her. She wears baggy tops with leggings and chunky sandals and it is so unflattering. She looks bigger on to and smaller on bottom. She does the same thing with leggings and boots though, I think there's a way to make it work but she's not doing it correctly. Maybe she needs to ditch the leggings as pants thing when she's out in public and it would look okay.

Yeah after you watch it, it's not really click bait.. For her sake i hope shes not pregnant, just bc Brooks is so young.. but given her history with being sick like this i would be nervous too!!

Editing is not hard work. I've got ample experience with editing and production throughout high school and college, and have done wedding videography for friends as a hobby.

The hardest videos to edit are those that follow a storyboard and script, because you've often got hours of fumbles, mistakes, and just bad takes. Each scene can be re shot 20 times, tweaking something different each time, then you're handed an inconsistent mess and told to make a masterpiece. Besides that, the hardest part is that it's time consuming sitting through all the footage.

Vlogs must be the easiest to edit imo. Cullen was present, or filmed, basically every single thing on his camera. And while there may be some do overs while talking to the camera, he knows exactly how many takes it took to get it right. Daily vloggers just cobble together what they've shot, and turn it into a video. There's really no creative process there, so if a daily family vlogger calls a 10 minute video that they shot hard to edit again, I'll scream. Especially considering it's the kids doing the real work creating good footage.

I am really glad you explained it and commented. I have always wondered when vloggers say how hard editing is and that it is a "full time job" in and of itself, how true that is. I doubted it was as hard as they make it sound. Being l have zero experience with editing, l figured somehow it was just way more involved than you'd think it would be.

With normal editing you have a storyboard that lays out each shot, and it's up to you to put them together in the best way, so there's a lot of creative tweaking, trying to meld shots together to make them seem seemless, and you've got continuity to worry about.

With vlogging like C&K and most daily vloggers do, they film periodically throughout the day, then later sit down to cut the best parts out of all the daily footage. With those selected, they edit them together, which is simply a drag and drop process, then drag in their intro. There may be some minor sound tweaking, they may need to do some careful cutting around something they don't want to show, and then they have to sit and watch to make sure it flows properly. All in all I'd be surprised if it takes even two hours a day, depending on how many cuts are needed, and how much unused footage needed to be combed through.

They only have two children not ten. They don't have to commute to outside jobs, drop their kids off at daycare full-time and work 10-12 hour shifts like many people do struggling to make ends meet. They live in a lovely home and are surrounded by family and friends. There is no excuse for their home to look like slobs live there. Piles of laundry everywhere, toys scattered in every room, dishes piled high in the sink, every counter and table top used as a place to dump stuff...I've never seen such a mess and disorganization. They are both very overweight and doing a bit of physical activity such as cleaning might burn off some calories and improve their health. Their home looks like a war zone most of the time. I thought they were upgrading and getting ready to sell. How can they even think of that when they leave their home in such disarray all the time?

I am laughing at people saying c and k have a messy house because ya'll would die in my apartment. You want to see a real messy house, head on over to Sam and Nia. Their yard is a dump. They constantly have boxes stacked everywhere and the house is beyond cluttered. I'll take c and k's house.
