No, she doesn't. Which is actually kind of upsetting in a way because she actually looked a lot healthier and happier when she did yoga and she gained muscle.

Hah! who am I kidding...this is the girl who films herself doing squats, sit ups, running, screenshots her walking trail and posts old workout selfies...No workout is complete without a formal announcement in the form of a selfie

Does anyone else feel no chemistry at all between V and Lily? I feel the loving chemistry between Lily and David but all this gushy talk that V does when she does acknowledge her are so fake that I honestly feel like her main priority is her Youtube and Lily is her project and brand.
It seems like Lily doesn't even care or feel close to V at all when i compare her to the other moms and the connection the kids have with them. It's not because Lily is an introvert because her face lights up when she sees david. I feel Brit and even Jess' vids are more family loving and more about the kids whereas with 2011teenagemom; it's just the Vanessa show. She does show clips of teaching Lily numbers but her fitness, juicing, target runs, overpower the interest towards Lily. V would be nothing on social media if it wasnt for her child and now she's hogging up the main point of her channel. It's all her in the vlogs and an occasional 5 second WOWWW Lily! That's why Lily cant talk because her own mother rather talks to a camera than her. I cant forget one of her latest vlogs where Lily was clearly hungry but Vanessa had to stop in the middle of crossing the road to the parking lot just to talk about her desk stand thing that her and david needs for their computers -___-

Although I completely agree with you about their bond and connection BUT V has said that she could treat Lily however she wanted but if David looked at her the wrong way "her little baby world would fall to pieces" it's been known since early on that David and Lily have a very strong bond and honestly, I think that makes V jealous. So it's not like she is completely unaware I just think she is jealous and honestly, I think V only got the subscribers she had/s because of Lily's turners, I noticed Lily looked different and went to her channel and saw a video about her turners and was interested and now I watch to laugh because like you said, it's V's show. I don't think if Lily was a "normal" baby and if V's pregnancy wasn't so complicated she wouldn't have the following she has now. If you watch her older videos they were all recorded on a ipod.

I see it too but, if you look at older videos, it looks like lily was a burden on vanessa. She complained about loosing sleep, she made a video about how wonderful her boobs were and said that now she doesn't like them (don't quote me on that), left lily crying in her crib while she was on her laptop because "if she picked her up she would make it a habit". (That time lily cried herself to sleep), left her with her mom whenever she wanted to be with David, and has said that its her channel, not lily's. Although I have no doubt she loves her daughter, I have a feeling she feels like she messed up her life In a way. When she explained her break up with David was because he wanted to live on campus she said that she would have loved to so that too. She wanted the college experience but she couldn't because she had to be a mother first. I think she feels robbed and is unknowingly blaming lily for it. The same happened to me when I had my daughter and couldn't go out with friends and party. I owned up to it and said it was my fault and am now waiting for them to be a little older and have my time. They won't be so small forever and right now I'm just cherishing the moments.

You're so right, FairPlay. Vanessa loves Youtube because it is quite literally The Vanessa Show. You're right on when you say Lily is her project and brand. And I know that I and so many other people have said this but yeah, Vanessa is so fake with Lily. It's difficult to explain but the way she talks to Lily feels FAKE and forced. I wish I knew how to explain it better. And her ridiculous fake laugh, I can't think of any way to explain it other than a less scratchy version of the marge simpson laugh. She does it all the time. I think that Vanessa is so hyperaware of everything she does because she's trying to look good on camera, that she doesn't even know how to act natural anymore. I wonder if it ever bothers David, you know? I feel like he acts pretty natural.

You're spot on with the Turner's comment on why she was able to have a larger audience. Sorry to bring up looks again but I wouldn't have clicked on her because I didn't find her aesthetically appealing and her quality sucked because she recorded through an iPod where you can only see a strip of the video. I only clicked on her because I read "young mom with special needs kid". That's why I feel like people like Britney and Emily Wowk because they're pretty girls who are well maintained and just had a baby. Jess looked scary but since seeing Drake and her new look, she looked more appealing

I don't see much chemistry between them either. I think she planned Lily but didn't realize how much care goes into raising a child, especially one with extra needs. I don't think I have ever seen Vanessa kiss lily which is pretty alarming to me.

And honestly, I feel like she's a better mom and likes Lily more because Lily gave her Youtube success. Vanessa finally got the attention she craved for that she didn't have in high school. She's was like the duckling that turned into a swan and now feels loved and popular. Thats why she's throwing her daughter under the bus with her negligence and using her as a prop for her videos.

This x1000. I'm sure Vanessa probably means well, I don't doubt that. But I can very much see her "hating her life" if it wasn't for Youtube. Poor David is trapped. It'd be best if he didn't put a ring on it. He doesn't need to be contractually obligated to keep her up. It'd be best if he left Vanessa, fought for child custody, start his own Youtube channel, and repeat "WOWWW LILY!!1!!" every 3-5 seconds.

I definitely think Vanessa is a better mom because of YouTube. I'm sure that when you have people watching and commenting, it makes you think about your actions a lot more. I think it's kind of cool in a way if it does in fact enhance Lily's life. And as far as what makes Vanessa desirable to watch, (besides the fact that she is so ridiculous) I like the fact that she posts regularly. I was aware of her for a while but didn't start watching until sometime within the last year. Just like a reality show, the more you watch and follow the story, the more you become invested. I don't know if she always posted this much, but now she posts like every other day or something and it makes you want to keep on watching. If you think about it, there aren't that many teen mom type vloggers around anymore. They've all kind of fallen to the wayside while Vanessa has stepped up her game. I don't really understand her motivation to post so many videos but I appreciate it. But what is it that drives people like Vanessa to dedicate so much time to making videos? Is it money? Do they like editing videos? Or is it just their narcissistic personalities that love the attention?

It's the money. No one enjoys editing videos, maybe 1 out of 1000. There are a ton of other teen moms out there. I rarely watch Vanessa anymore because it is the same shit.

I dont doubt that she loves Lily but I imagine myself as a vlogger and think about hating it after a while because I'd rather have intimate and engaging moments with my family than have a camera shoved in their faces all the time. Imagine how annoyed david and Lily get when they want to act normal but having V attached to the camera all the time just to record whatever. Yes she does post regularly because she wants to be as big as her idols the shaytards and Jess. Money has a lot to do with it as well. The moms who arent around anymore are the ones who are taking life seriously and back at school/the workforce. With Jess's and even Taylers vids, they show mostly footages of the kids playing meanwhile we have Vanessa showing snippets of Lily and probably makes her watch movies to distract her so she wont bother or be rowdy when V tries to vlog herself talking about herself on the many videos she tries to post

ANOTHER COMMENT: is she really recording Lily in a public pool? Where I'm from you get scolded really badly if you have a camera around public kid places especially the pool. At my daughters gymnastics last week, two moms were arguing because one of them took a picture of her daughter on the balance beam and the owner of the place had to make her delete it regardless if the other kids were turned around.

Woah, thats crazy about the balance beam thing. I didn't feel like the stuff she filmed at the pool was especially intrusive of the other kids but at a different angle, maybe it could be. But everything you said above that, I totally agree 100%. You're spot on. Knowing that there's a camera on you and the footage will be posted in the internet is just the thing to spoil a genuine moment. And although she may say that she films to have the memories, it really does seem like its just a way for her to soak up attention. I think she does it more for the attention than the money.

I just watched her new video and so I was already irritated after watching for 2 minutes. She seems very impatient and her tone with Lily is kinda aggressive IMO She brushes her off a lot too, except for the few times where she's being sweet when she remembers that she's filming.

But it is true about cameras in a community centre. It's even posted on walls that there should be no cameras or recording of the children especially in pools. Like I said, where I'm from you get scolded so maybe it's different where she's at. I remember my parents recording my little brother in the water park for the first time and a life guard told them to stop. I didn't like the taping part especially, I know it's just Vanessa and her obsession with recording so her life will look productive and interesting but there's always nasty pedos out there, you never know it should be a standard rule for everyone. I hope she gets told to stop.

Also, if i didnt know Lily's age I would have thought she just turned two. She's equivalent to how Anberlin acts and talks like tbh

Eb, did you even read any of the posts? Seriously, because we said that NONE of the kids should be called ugly. I think it's terrible to call anyone's kid ugly just for the sake of being mean but honestly, I think it IS actually a little meaner in lily's case because her Turner syndrome makes her look a little different from other kids. Again, to clarify, it's kind of mean to call any child ugly. Do it on your own time, behind closed doors. Not on here, where we KNOW these mothers read. It doesn't accomplish anything.

we all once were kids and babies.. we all get harsh remarks.... of course we all are going to get negative feedback regardless... so dont waste your time trying to prevent bullying. I for one dont find lily appearance cute but shes beautiful in her own way.

I was watching her latest vlog "lily goes swimming" and my fiancé starts watching with me and he says "it seems like she's fake having fun with her daughter. I nearly died. Even my fiancé that has never even seen a video of this girl can see her fake happiness with her daughter. So sad!
