So I'm on YouTube. Minding my business, when I noticed that the thumbnail to the first video looks familiar. Then I realize that's it's a thumbnail from Daily Bumps. I seriously can't escape these people. Image

I think this is why I hate this bitch even more than I should. Every time she doesn't appreciate her babies and ability to fall pregnant easily and have a healthy pregnancy... I want to slap her. At least once we get pregnant we know we will appreciate our children, unlike Melissa.

CD3 over here. Last cycle had a few things go wrong but I'm getting back on that horse named Infertility. Yay. Good luck for this cycle, TTCers.
Hugs to you and actuallydear!

I just hit the one year mark of TTC last week. And it's been really hard on my husband and I. Seriously fuck Missy

Did anyone hear ollie screaming and crying when they were all sitting in the living room. Missy said ollie was asleep but you could clearly hear him crying from his room. I felt so bad for him. They forced him to go to bed so they can relax and have fun. I wonder how many hours a day he stays trapped in that pitch black room crying to get out. And I'm not sure which vlog it was i think yesterday or the day before but missy says he stayed there for like 10 min calling her. I honestly think it's more. Maybe even 30 min +. Jeez i just dont know how they have a heart to do that to there son.

That's what honestly makes me so sad for Ollie. I can only the imagine the amount of pitch black alone time that 2 year old has had in his short life...like how can someone sit in their living room knowing their son is awake and screaming in his room where he can't see anything... I really fucking hate these two. They don't deserve Oliver or Finley.

Sometimes you have to let kids cry. Letting him cry at bed time isn't a big deal. Should they let him cry for more than 10mins at a time? No. But saying "they forced him to go to bed"... Well yeah, that's parenthood. We put kids to bed so when they get enough sleep, and so we can get things done or relax a bit.

My daughter is a month younger than ollie and i have never let her "cry it out ". I can't even think about doing that to her. Sure there are times when she doesn't want to go to bed but i just reason with her and tell her if you dont go to bed then you will be to tired to go to the park tomorrow. And she'll sleep right away. I guess dumping your kid in bed and closing the door behind you is the fastest and easiest way for them to relax but i dont think it's healthy for ollie at all.

I never agreed with it either, until I needed to do it. My daughter is almost 3 now, but when she was 8 months old she would nap an hour in the day and sleep 6 hours at night. In those six hours she woke up at least 10 times. Her pediatrician commented on how she was losing weight and getting sick often, and that's when we discussed her sleep problems. I cried, but we decided MCIO was the best option. Within a week she was sleeping for 12 hours, only waking up once or twice a night. She still sleeps well.

Is it cruel? Sometimes, it can be. But not every child is the same and some children need it. I think they do it with Ollie because they are too lazy to comfort him, but generally speaking it's not that bad for a child to cry for 10 minutes after the parents leave the room. Most kids would much rather stay up and play all night!

Im so sorry for your daughter. I understand why you need to do that. But b&m do it to ollie just for them to be lazy and it's easier for them. It's really sad.

He's probably not tired due to the ten thousand naps that they force him to take.

My daughter is 13 months and we don't force her to bed but let me tell you, every day is a new struggle so she's cries/fusses it out. Do we let her scream on the top of her lungs? No, but we definitely don't let her have it her way. Given that Missy was still doing a night feed at one year and Ollie had major struggles with sleeping in the last year they most likely (like many of us parents) have been striving to create a better sleep schedule from him. I dislike the bums as much as the next person but I don't think she like locks Ollie in his room to scream.

Thank you, she is pretty near perfect now so the hell paid off!

I completely agree about them with Ollie. I think they need a better night time routine where BOTH parents go in. I will never understand why they don't both go in for bedtime when they are both home.

Are you a parent? Because I can tell you how frustrating it is when you know your child needs 2 naps vs one or when they suddenly drop one nap. It was a big change here (but for the better as it's easier to plan things). And there have been times where we've left our daughter in her crib when she's supposed to be napping. It's all apart of sticking with her routines

It doesn't take a parent to know a kid Oliver's age, who takes a long 2.5-3 hour nap a day, does not then need a second nap. At all.

No, I'm dealing with infertility. All I said was that he's probably not tired because he takes a lot of naps. I don't get your reply.

Falling asleep early is something he NEVER does? Lol I can think of multiple instances of Missy recording Bryan fast asleep on the couch.

I'll believe Missy edited when we actually SEE her do it. Bryan could just be saying that to prove to us/minions that Missy isn't a freeloader. It's something we'll have a hard time refuting just based on editing style

I never understood that argument. It's almost as annoying as "you don't see their whole day!"
I'm a full time nanny spending up to 12 hours a day with my kids. I understand their wants and need just as much as their mother does. I know if my 2 year old doesn't need a nap, as opposed to if she does. Ain't rocket science. LOL. It just takes an understanding of the kid, something Missy lacks.
