Piles of laundry everywhere, toys scattered in every room, dishes piled high in the sink, every counter and table top used as a place to dump stuff...I've never seen such a mess and disorganization. They are both very overweight and doing a bit of physical activity such as cleaning might burn off some calories and improve their health. Their home looks like a war zone most of the time. I thought they were upgrading and getting ready to sell. How can they even think of that when they leave their home in such disarray all the time?
Ok, I am with you. My big issue are the pet bowels near the high chair and the cat stand in the dining room. I don't think their house looks clean. I'll take Bonnie's any day who has a smaller home and more kids.

I agree. Their house doesn't seem clean and the pet bowls near the high chair and the cat stand in the dining room is not good. I'll take Bonnie's house anyday. The Griffiths girls know how to keep a house.

Family Fun Pack has been pushing the likes too, which is ridiculous because their vlogs get millions of views, and they have money rolling in hand over fist.

He said they don't get paid for likes. Which is still true.

But he also still played it off as just being something "for fun". So he stuck to the literal truth but obscured the reason they want the likes. That's practically the definition of disingenuous.
One would assume that adults all now know that "likes" are a form of currency in the digital world.

Lol, I don't think their house is -that- bad. Some of the comments remind me of my mother's various critiques of the state of my bedroom/closet at age 13. Sure, it could have stood to be organized, but it was hardly the rathole she described.
That's basically how I feel about C&K's home. They are not minimalists or housecleaning enthusiasts. The house looks like people, including children, actually live in all the various rooms. Sure, it's a bit messy and cluttery, but it's not truly dirty. GranDolly would be sending the Merry Maids over with the quickness if that were the case.
Personally, in my heart I am not an honest enough person to pull out the camera and start vlogging in pajamas and messy hair, with my home in its natural state. So I were a vlogger, I'd keep the house differently (read: better) and only film in areas that were "clean." If I were a successful vlogger, financially, I would probably make furniture and decor choices that revolved around my need to hide clutter, and probably hire help too.
C&K's clutter doesn't give me anxiety like Sam and Nia's. It just feels lived-in. But I'm also not the biggest fan of the Griffiths sisters' homes. They are all so very sterile, feeling like a cross between the lobby of a high-end beauty salon and a model home.
I'm more surprised about the messy house knowing how Katie was raised. Do you think grand doc and grand dolly had a maid? Maybe Katie was used to someone picking up after her? My mother would kill me if she came to my house and it looked like that lol

I'm betting you are right. That maybe Katie just isn't used to cleaning up, and Cullen never had to either, because, well, he's a guy and had sisters. Grandberry probably never made him pick up either. I haven't noticed dirty dishes, and I don't see a problem with the dog bowls being "by the high chair"-- Gaines isn't eating out of them. My house is major cluttered, but it's not Hoarders level. I would never vlog in it though! I'm sure I would get ripped apart for my housekeeping skills. Or lack thereof, really. My BFF and I have a running argument over who's the World's Worst Housekeeper.

I think it is how we grew up. I grew up in a clean house and it is now my standard. I don't like clutter at work or at home. I feel I think better in a clean and no clutter environment since the mess is a distraction to me. However, I am not saying every closet is perfect and it is my next project. Sam and Nia's house is a disaster and better than Cullen and Katie's house, but there is a lot of improvement Cullen and Katie could make. The thing is it is aesthetically easier to watch the Griffith ladies vlogs with their beautifully clean house with toys out which are eventually picked up and even Ruby's with six kids looks darn good, but she has those kids working for her too. I think also the Griffith ladies limit toys to one room which I did too.
Ok, one more deal with Cullen and Katie is there a changing table in the office?
I am sure Grand Doc has a maid with her large home, age and finances.
haven't watched these guys in a long time but i vaguely remember them mentioning right after brooks was born they wanted another baby and wanted them close in age.

Yes I think it's kind of an office/play room/all purpose room thing
I love Cullen and Katie but the main reason why I can't stand watching their vlogs every single day is because of all the clutter around them. I'd rather hate-watch the Lumps or Ellie and Jared who have clean and tidy houses (who cares if they have a maid). C&K's house is way beyond "lived in" it's a mess with clothes and shoes on every steps of the stairs and toys in every single room. I'm not OCD at all but watching their videos gives me anxiety and I get borderline claustrophobic. And don't tell me it's because they have a baby, it was like that when they only had Gaines. I agree with the people who said they were never used to cleaning. A few things here and there are "lived in" but to the point where you can't find a single tidy corner is what I call messy.
I doubt they are THAT clean either. I also have two cats and two dogs and while one dog doesn't shed at all and the other one does, the cats are way worse shedders than my 100lbs dog. Also, cat hair flies everywhere and with clothes scattered around the house I can't imagine them being very clean.

Very overweight? Not exactly. Katie just had a baby a few months ago and Cullen has a few extra lbs on him but I wouldn't call him that by any means.
If she is pregnant I am certian that its a surprise to them. Based on how scared she was when she got pregnant with Brooks and the fact they kept it a secret until they had that first ultrasound/heartbeat check. I can't think that either of them, but Katie especially would be comfortable including the "live test results" in the vlog unless they were pretty much 99.9% sure it would be negative.
As far as the messiness of their house, personally Ive never noticed it as it looks like my house (and sometimes mine is worse ha!) Standards of tidiness are really going to vary from person to person, so it's likely we will never agree on the state of their house.
For people saying their own homes are also worse, I'm sure you don't live with two stay at home parents with minimal responsibility. It's not that their house is messy, because I hate cleaning too and I get it, it's that their entire life is a series of free time. They don't use any of it to even attempt to clean, and it baffles me. They'd get a pass if they were just too busy, but they're just lazy.

I imagine it is easier to keep one's house tidy and in order when the family physically leaves home every morning and doesn't come home until after work/daycare. All the messes would be mostly outside of the home. I tend to make a bit of a mess when I'm home. Also, when you bring in meals, and don't make meals at home from scratch, the difference to the kitchen upkeep is night and day. They spend a lot on convenience food, imo.
It's just that they have so much free time. Most people would kill for a few extra hours a day to tidy up, or cook meals. They don't really do any of these things, and it's such a waste imo

They did a Tide commercial on child safety with Cullen telling the audience it is important to keep things in general picked up order and Katie saying she is always cooking and cleaning up a lot...this commercial is the one time their house looked ok so they can clean.
The thing about their house being a mess is the fact that they are two stay at home parents. Meaning they are both home together like 80% of the time. They send MG to mother's day out and grand dolly takes her once a week. They should team up and tackle what mess they have and get it over with. Katie is sick so Cullen is tending to her which is great but that means the mess just gets bigger. I think what would do them some good is if they got rid of that huge dining room table (which I've never seen them use, so it was pointless to even get it), get rid of the hutch and turn that room into a small office and turn the office into a toy/play room. They still haven't done Brooks nursery reveal have they? I think the thing isn't that they can't clean it's that they don't want to clean.
personal: my mom and dad both have full time jobs, my mom leaves the house around 6:30 m-f and comes home around 5pm between that time she has time to attend both of her jobs, pick up my younger brother from school who is 9, make sure he get's his homework done, makes dinner, cleans up, gets clothes washed and dried (not always put away right then and there), and still has at least a an hour to kill. Her house isn't spotless but it is clean enough that if anyone were to randomly stopped by she wouldn't be embarrassed with the look of her house.

It's easy to keep a house clean when there is nobody home all day lol I am a stay at home parent with a 1 year old and 3 year old and my house stays messy. I constantly have to clean up after them. When I worked all day there was nobody home to make a mess.
