Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
How can Bryan just say they want to eat after the kids ate so they have their peace?! Are you kidding me????
Ok, I have to admit, sometimes my husband and I like to order some pizza and eat in front of the TV or something just like we did when we were in Highschool but that happens maybe every 6 months, and even then we cook a proper meal and SIT with our daughter and eat one or two bites. Just to show her (she is a very picky eater and on top of that she really doesn't eat a whole lot..) it's dinner time and we as a family sit and eat together.
They never really show them eating any meal together - except for when they are out. That's so sad
And Missy couldn't have shown any better how Finn is just a burden.
First at breakfast and how on earth can you sneak out of the house to escape your toddler. How old are you again?!?
And by the way.. Ollie looked reeeeaaally impressed with their little ride.. *not*
In the comments someone asked if they could talk about the doctor results since "Finn interrupted the whole scene again".. he is the cutest little nugget.. even if he is clingy, don't they realize that is the only way this poor little boy gets any attention from his mother?! He is a child.. he is happy with any attention he gets - for him it doesn't matter if he got it through being good, bad or clingy.
That's so sad

Playsinrain and I have discussed sending several YouTubers a thesaurus. They also overuse "dramatic", and "surprise". And then when they are speaking, there's my favorite, "literally". Missy and Andrew from SlyFox are really bad with "literally".fossilfinger wrote:The adjectives YouTubers use in their titles are annoying and unoriginal. Like using "Emotional" ad nauseum. On their generosity to family members, I agree that it's good that they help family. But I also think it's got a self-serving angle with Mimi and Papa. They are on call babysitters, reptile wranglers, potty trainers, and in Papa's case, handyman. I think they're going to end up in trouble from putting family on the payroll, because when the money is gone, their family is going to be out too. They do have some generous impulses. I think that buying Bev a car came from an actual unselfish wish to do something nice for her. And they certainly do more to help smaller vloggers than Jared does for his own family. They do shout outs and post links, and Jared even said once that Bryan gave him pointers. But I think some of that is like his humble bragging-- like "look how successful I am! See me helping these poor struggling vloggers!"

It's shot down because is ridiculous. There are rules of disclosure, and this is why Bryan had to make that Twitter statement about how THEY PAID for the FL trip.Lovethesnark wrote:This is shot down every time I bring it up, but I don't think they're actually paying for many of the things we see them with. I believe a lot it is sponsored and I'm sure they receive many things from being on PR lists. Brands love these vloggers because it's cheap advertisement.
Plus regardless, they waste a ton of money on a daily basis on dining out, Starbucks, Missy's nail and hair appts, Bryan's bi-weekly haircuts, employees, wanted food, insurance on 4 vehicles....The cars were kept secret, were those sponsorships? Are all the renos?
They are bad with money and have been since the start. Maybe they get free things a lot (Legos, drones), but the excess purchases like the towel warmer, piano, kitchen/pool/bedroom renos are definitely their own money. Plus if they are disclosing the product placements to YT, they aren't getting income off those views. If they aren't disclosing it, they are pulling some risky and shady shit.
But believe in the dream of you want. I know people with genuine money, and no one spends like that. It's not reality. This is why legit celebrities find themselves bankrupt after years of worldwide success. Free merch isn't going to help pay for that mortgage when YT views decline.

She basically grew up in a Christian compound that her dad (it's my understanding) was one of the leaders of. She had to dress like a Duggar until her teens. Then for some reason, her parents left, moved to Idaho, and let her go to public high school wear jeans. She met Bryan, and the rest is history.GetYouTubesTied wrote:Fundamentalist upbringing? I was looking to see if she did a Draw My Life video, but I got annoyed just looking through her playlist. She does have a 50 Facts About Me video. It might be in there.

The PR lists usually send out things like TOMS, baby products, toys or tech items like Alexa. They have the bigger tubers on lists and send things out routinely. Smallish things that you tend to see pop up universally across a lot of the daily vloggers' vids. They aren't sending DB new refrigerators, vehicles, playgrounds, etc. All the things that cost BIG, are probably just them making the choice to spend a lot. Just think of all the impulse purchases they make going shopping! They've dropped $400 on impulse at Buy Buy Baby before, when they hadn't even planned on going in that day.Lovethesnark wrote:This is shot down every time I bring it up, but I don't think they're actually paying for many of the things we see them with. They may be getting some free stuff, but they are still paying for a lot of the more expensive items. Daily Bumps are like the people that think its a good deal to spend $2000 just because they saved $20!

I've had a busy day and haven't watched the blog yet but for how much missy spent on that flat iron, her hair looks horrible in the thumbnail. Yikes.

Missy and Bryan, I know you read here. Please read this story and think about how dangerous it is that you let your child wander like this on a regular basis.... this is extreame, yes, but this is why it's dangerous to let Ollie (and Payton and Olivia, and eventually Finn) do things like this. You never know what can happen.

Chica needs to pay for a damn haircut. She'd look so much more modern if she cut half of that dead hair off! I love long hair, but if you don't know how to style it or take care of it, cut it. So unflattering on her.

Who was watching Finn while missy and Ollie were escaping his clinginess? Seriously, I imagine a mother must love her kids but she seems seriously annoyed at everything he does. Ollie, by contrast, can apparently do no wrong.

Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
Ugh why is parenting Finn such a chore for these people? They really should have just stopped after Ollie.
How sad is it that they never have a family dinner. They should routinely eat dinner together as a family, and eating the same thing. I just can't believe these people feed their kids junk food every day and put them to bed so they can have a different dinner and not be bothered with them.
Side note and totally off topic: every time I see someone post about GF my mind reads it as gluten free

Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
The rules of disclosure are different for product placements. Product placements aren't endorsements. They seem to thrive on product placements. They have to report it to Youtube, but they don't have to disclose it to the viewer unless they are endorsing the product. I'm not saying never pay for the things they have. They spend a lot of money, but the freaking out over what you think they spend is a little over the top here.HelloSweetie wrote:It's shot down because is ridiculous. Not a muzzle. That's a gentle leader, and they're the best gawd damned invention in the history of dog ownership (IMHO). They make it possible for weaklings like me to actually walk two 75+lb dogs at a time.Baconsgirl wrote: why does Karma have a muzzle? They're WAY superior to choke or prong collars, and they cause zero pain or discomfort for the dog.

Finn and Karma are both cute, but there is nothing cute about that photo in my opinion.
