A shop-with-me for back to school with Savy and mom gets something new too.
A shop with me where she goes out of her comfort zone and tries on colors/style to get opinions.
School Supply shopping, homeschool tips, how to get started, keeping your kid interested, outside socialization.
Laundry chat, talking about products used, like/dislike, stain removal, natural vs commercial products, fabric care, etc.
Find an easy one-pot meal to try out from start to finish. Learn to cook, demonstrate and see how it goes. Recreate the most basic Olive Garden dish.
Comparison of her Dyson vacuum to whatever she had before, Jaws cleaner vs Method (or whatever)
Current Makeup she uses, what she'd like to try, brand review, current shampoo likes and dislikes, what works/what doesn't, then revisit monthly if things are added or not used. Possibly a makeup declutter.
Gardening, sprucing up the front or back yards.
Savy's doll collection, affordable knock offs vs American Girl, which are good, which are not.
Fitness
Friends (lunch or wine tasting with the ladies)
At home spa day with Savy (even one with Savy and her friends)

Isn't Justin Hickman supposed to be helping her grow??
I think he's too busy hanging curtain rods and taking the kids to Disney! :-|

All those are great ideas btw!

I agree they are great ideas, but I don't think she can do anything but obsess over her house being spotless at all times. I 100% believe they aren't having more kids cause she can't handle the mess two would cause.

Also, let me guess the water bottle mentioned is the one single one that is always on the island so she has something to "cleanup?" Image

Her night cleaning video was laughable. Does she really think her subs are too dumb to realize that her videos are staged. Well maybe her subs are but we know better. lol and she had to leave the toilet paper out and that hall closet door open. And the "messy" laundry room that she said was getting out of hand. OMG she is delusional

Girl trust me I’m not here to judge or fight with anyone! I totally respect you have your own opinions. I like Ashley and since this is a place to snark, I will keep my positive comments away from now on. I dont want to make any enemies on here because I want to start being active on other threads of moms that I dont like. There is tons of YouTube mamas that I do not like and love to snark on! I already apologized for annoying everyone and making it seem like I was trying to get everyone to agree with me!
I don’t believe you I’ll just say it. Nobody would willingly offer up that a youtuber offered to pay their rent on a GOSSIP THREAD about that very YouTuber then proceed to say that they want to be active on other threads of channels they don’t like. So you’re willingly letting Ashley know you came to this site to snark on people? A person she offered to help out financially? :?
All of the people I know that watch YouTube moms, read here and read the gossip. Even if they don’t dislike the moms. It’s interesting to read. Everyone has guilty pleasures and gossip is hard to stay away from! Also, all the YouTube moms read here too obviously. I dont think Ashley would be offended to know that some of her loyal subscribers read here, as long as they aren’t talking badly about her? Heck I tried to stand up for her a little is all. And uh, I didnt say anything bad about her channel name I said it was really long and I wondered how she came up with it, lol. And someone answered my question! I think it’s super odd that I’ve said you guys can forget about my posts and quit bringing me up if you want, but you won’t. Im not gonna start posting talking badly about her, and I said I wouldnt be annoying with tons of positive talking about her either because that’s not what this page is for. I do think this page is helpful if you have a question or something to ask other moms who watch YT. I really don’t care if you believe me about her offering to help me, I have a hard time believing all the stories people post to, either way doesn’t matter. I told my story and that’s all.

Well, she's already done her makeup routine several times and its flat out boring. And she seems very proud of the fact that she can fit all her collection in one case so I dont see her branching out. And she doesnt have enough makeup period to do a declutter.
She's stated doesnt work out. Just tries to "move" a lot.
I dont think she has many friends. And I dont say that to be mean. But she has said herself she isnt a people person and likes to stay in her bubble. So that on top of homeschooling so not socializing with parents, it makes sense. I think a spa day or mommy/daughter day in the life would be cute though. And yes, I would love to see her branch out with cooking. Try making simple meals and surprise Chase with them or like you said, try copy cat meals. One youtuber I watch LOVES taco bell so she does a series of trying to recreate their food. It's so fun!
If Ashley could step off her high horse and branch out, her channel could possibly be good. Oh and if she could stop acting like she's the only mom to ever work. And actually make time to homeschool her own kid, that would be great too.

I don't know if I would want her advice on home schooling. She home schools for only a few hours a day and that doesn't start until after lunch time because her hair and makeup has to be done first. Everyone I know that homes school their kids, they have schedules that are consistent and starts early in the morning with breaks in btwn and ends in the afternoon like reg school. Whats the point in it if it's only a few hours.

I don’t know much about homeschooling but I think it’s clear Ashley is kind of half-assing it. I’ve seen a ton of videos on YouTube detailing the process and one of the biggest priorities is to keep it structured like a day at regular school. It’s not “sit on the couch and do a page out of a workbook”, have lunch, play with dolls then have dad check the work when he gets home. How is that teaching your child any work ethic? If she wants Savannah to go to college she is in for a rude awakening! She has been adamant that she will not share a homeschooling video and I think it’s because she will get a lot of flack for it. We don’t know exactly what they do but it definitely doesn’t seem like a true school experience. I think now she is keeping Savannah at home selfishly. She doesn’t want to have to go out and interact with (gasp) other humans, while at drop off or school activities. Probably got Meg syndrome and thinks she is a celebrity who has to hide out at home.

Double post but I wanted to add: as much as she tries to convince us that Savannah has chores or helps to clean up she doesn’t do that either. Kid lives a pretty easy life. I wonder if Ashley and chase grew up privileged. I think we have discussed this here before.

Slice Media just brings sponsorships to a channel but I also read on his website that you have to have 100,000 subscribers and an average of 20,000 views per video to be able to talk to him about deals. I found that under the influencer tab on his website in case anyone was wondering where I got that information.

With the suggestions I gave yesterday, I know full well that she has done some of them and they turned out boring since she put a low budget effort into most of them. My point of listing them was that if she put in extra effort, went above and beyond her normal low level, she really could draw people back in. She's going to have to think outside of the box to draw those extra 20,000 subs she's looking for. If she kicked up her homeschool routine, researched what other mom's are doing and counteract with what works for them, etc., she could gain lots of viewers looking for something a bit different than what's already out.

I also think that if Savannah wasn't homeschooled anymore, Ashley wouldn't work at a job outside the home. Not if she's making more money than Chase, why would she need to? Does anyone know the reason she started Savannah on homeschool, is their school district crappy and she can do better, or she just wants her home?

I tried to quote the above and reply to it, but only the quote showed up and not my response.

I don’t think Ashley has said why she homeschools, but if she has I’ve forgotten. If I had to guess I think she does to have religious curriculum. I would guess she wants to teach creationism instead of evolution, etc. I could be completely wrong, but that’s my hunch. I don’t think I’ve ever heard her complain about their district. I also think she wants her home too to be with her.

Honestly, I think Ashley just wanted Savannah home so she could stay home too. That's mean to say but I'm pretty sure it's the truth. Ashley never wanted to work, but homeschooling gives her a "purpose" to being home all the time.

Whenever she talks about it, she mentions starting the day more calmly and when they want to. So basically so she can sleep til 10AM and have no accountability.

She did a question and answer once and mentioned that she felt homeschooling was better for her daughter in the long run and more at her pace. I say if it works for her and their family then have at it especially with the pressure most schools place on kids these days with such an aggressive approach if in the right school district. I don’t see anything wrong with her homeschooling as long as she actually sticks to a schedule that best fits her daughter and not just powdering her nose before her husband gets home before work.

I wonder if her channel has slowed down in growing because she’s so negative about YouTube now. She acts like posting and replying to comments is such a burden. She talks about it in almost every video and IG post now.

All I've seen on her IG stories is screenshots of her subs praising her like she is Kim K. Her 80,000 subs have gone to her head and I don't see why women are so gulliable to believe everything someone else says, so easily. It's like they are missing something at home and NEEDS the Ashley's and the Meg's of YT to make up for it. :-o

Her constant complaining about this is another reason why I unsubscribed. I'm not saying having a channel is easy, but she is making it 10 times harder than it needs to be.
