GQS: Chronicles of Narn: The Bison, The Bitch and The Endless Chores| Part 69
I would be dishonest if I said that lockdown here in the U.K. has had a huge impact on my life. For the past 16 months my life has been pretty much confined to the house, apart from Saturdays anyway.
I am finding it hard having my husband working from home and my 18 and 21 yr old girls here too. However, their lives have changed much more than mine have.
My 18 year old has been working for two years towards her Alevel (public exams) only got them to have been cancelled. Her uni entry depends on these and they are still working out how these grades will now be worked out. Her whole year group unceremoniously left school, without any goodbyes or Formal (prom) or any of the lasts final year students are school experience. My eldest has had all Uni exams cancelled and a huge amount of work piled on top without access to libraries etc to get books. Both girls are on the autistic spectrum, so they are adjusting as best they can.
My mum and dad have been unwell for several weeks. We haven’t been visiting for several weeks but were able to leave shopping for them their doorstep. Now however, restrictions have been placed on moving from area to area and being about 1/2 hr away from us by car, we don’t know if we’re going to be able to do that now.
My sister lives in England and we are in Northern Ireland. She is an NHS worker. Her husband has just started working abroad and can’t get home right now. Her daughters are grown up - 20 and 17 - but she has really bad asthma and she’s worried about what will happen if she gets sick.
My story is not unusual or special. This is nothing that everyone isn’t having to figure out. Some people are in much, much worse situations. Every one is having changes to their life and most of us are encountering the same sorts of dilemmas.
The Gardners are relatively lucky. They’re both used to working from home and should be used to that. They won’t be under a lot of pressure to homeschool. The kids are only 5. It’s no big deal if they don’t achieve it. Their parents and families are close and are a good support network for each other. Money doesn’t appear to be a problem so ordering take away etc is a possibility.
If and when proper lockdown is enforced there, they may well find that there won’t be restaurants, take-away food stores etc. Even McDonalds is closed here! Supermarkets, pharmacies etc have queuing systems - one trolley in supermarkets for one person, who has to queue because it’s a one-out, one-in system. People are not allowed in, in twos. If you can’t justify why you’re out, you could now be fined (in Northern Ireland). You must not go to work unless you are a key worker and employers will be punished for forcing employees to go to work. Ashley and Tyson, Nanny Ash is not a key worker!
Things are going to get a lot worse before they get better. We have been told here this afternoon, that these measures could last as long as six months!
Time to suck it up Gardners and face reality!!

She's just saying word for word a meme that is going around. I didn't find it offensive or anything when I first saw it, just incredibly stupid and not funny. So the fact that she is too dumb to even come up with something original herself and yet she still isn't funny, just shows how clueless she is.MervelllaB wrote: ↑Sun Mar 29, 2020 6:09 am My daughter just showed me this TikTok of Ashley’s? Right, what annoyed me most about it is she just stole the meme and is taking credit for it. You can't just steal things you find online and think that's not plagiarism. But then again, these are the same people who stole their logo and thought nobody would notice.

Another spelling gaffe? Approched instead of approached on Trash's tik tok stupidity display. Trash is so proud of herself on IG for having "built" a train with Legos. She says it's so cute and I'm proud of it/myself. The worst thing is, I think she is serious. Has to give herself a compliment since no one else seems to be. Simple-minded simpleton.

I rolled my eyes when I saw Assley say she was proud of herself too. Sadly for her that probably was a major accomplishment. She and Bison both have the skill set of a ten year old child at best. I reckon their maturity level is about the same as well. To give you all an example of their immaturity I found this hidden gem enjoy.

On TyPERV’s IG the ferals are “getting their energy out” playing in the construction site next to them. History repeating itself. Can’t fix stupid.

I think at the present time, you have to be very careful about what you choose to repost or repeat and as social influencers they must know that. It’s just not funny.Something_Relevant wrote:She's just saying word for word a meme that is going around. I think it’s disrespectful on a variety of levels - what it says about Kobe Bryant, what it says about the Australian fires, what it says about Coronavirus coming from someone eating a bat in China, what it says about those who are most at risk. I could go on.
This isn’t China’s problem. It’s a worldwide problem and it doesn’t do Chinese people all around the world any favours by spreading nonsense. So many people from a variety of Asian countries are suffering racism as a result of stupid idiots repeating things like that.
I just wish people would see these idiots for what they are. How can they be taking part in a worldwide fast today which has been organised by their church, while posting such problematic and ignorant material in their other social media? It makes my head hurt just thinking about how stupid they are!

I feel I have to say something about the clock ticking or whatever the fuck that shit is....
She, Ashley Gardner douchebag herself... I am absolutely and horribly angry with that clock ticking tiki tac shit she posted.
Who is she to repeat such a slap in the face of the REAL world crisis of a pandemic going on right now?!?!
My daughter would die if she were exposed to the Coronavirus! How can something potentially fatal be put out for people to laugh at? I have zero empathy or sympathy for that family, none of them have any sensitivity in their souls.
Kobe Bryant has passed away and this virus is worldwide killing people by the droves and here she is, queen SeneAshley, making fun of this. It's not just about self quarantine (which she and her loving husband aren't adhering to), it goes much further than that!
This Ashley, whom so many people adore for what? For being the mother who films her child who gashed her head open and stapled in her living room for the world to see. Idk why so many people can be so blind to a wolf in sheep's clothing.
You are a despicable human Ashley Gardner!

Its hardly fucken quarantine when you:
- have left the house a dozen times - including seeing the mountins, going car shopping, picking up take out
- having a nanny come in each day
- having your elderly parents visit
- having your nephew come to play
- having a plumber (amandahs husband) install a bidet
Quarantine is when you know your infected and stay home to avoid spread
Isolation is when one member of your family is infected and is isolated from the rest of the family
Self isolation is when you do your bit for the good of the rest of the population, by self isolating in your “bubble” of immediate family - no nanny, no amandah, no parents/grandparents.
Im sorry Gardners - you are not doing any of the above. As per usual you flout the rules and guidelines, exposing your respiratory comprised children even further.

Illinois reported the first American baby with COVID-19 to die. They're doing an investigation to determine if there was a preexisting condition - preemie lungs don't do well with respoitory stuff - like how these kids seem to get croup more than any other child I've ever known.

Exactly. These fools deserve a law suit. Dang. I really wish the train would hurry on up and get to them. But, I’ve been frustratingly been waiting on that freakin train for 4 years. They need to be hit fast and hard.Imsorrybut wrote:Right, what annoyed me most about it is she just stole the meme and is taking credit for it. They sure would. The girls are wearing trackpants and hoodies today - who’d of thought it would take a pandemic to see these fools dress their kids in something practical?!?Phillygrl wrote:They are some fugly outfits. There they are like all the other vloggers treating this pandemic like it's a fun event like a holiday or party. First off, as I said in another, nit wit Gardner parents, you are not in quarantine and it is not something to be in a title like Mom's Party Day. Most of the nation is in shelter in place, staying home so we are not exposed.
Quarantined means you have been exposed and you need to stay away from others to see if symptoms come out. If you show symptoms, you would then go into isolation, keeping away from everyone even family members, so you don't expose them.
Whoever started treating this like a fun event is ignorant, and the nit wits that have followed need to stop, it isn't cute to say, Our Quarantine Dinner, Church in Quarantine, etc.
