So, no more sponsored unboxings, no more baby league, no more bump dates, Bryan gave up on his game reviews and only uses his channel to push his music.
Looks like they're really working at putting all their eggs in one basket by only focusing on the daily vlogs.

Does anyone notice that Scott guy in Missy and Bryan's comments? He comments for their video everyday.

Yeah, and these viewers are getting younger and younger. Honest Company are a premium product. I'm sorry, but I don't think DB have that many "mommy viewers" anymore, let alone high-end ones, or ones with credit cards.Theirmom wrote:So, I guess even her sponsored box openings don't get their own video on her channel anymore?

Soon their sponsors will be American Girl dolls and Rainbow Loom . Did they want a girl because it would open up the door on new sponsors that the minions might actually buy?

Yes! He tweets all the time too. He sounded semi-intelligent (some minions do not) and I expected him to be older. He isn't though, because he commented after B's concert that he chickened out and couldn't ask his mom for the money.babyspice wrote:Does anyone notice that Scott guy in Missy and Bryan's comments? He's either a kid, or an "owned" son like Jimmy.

Even if they are in a different time zone, I would think that he would probably still be tired around that time anyway (it's not like they've been gone for months.)

Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
I remember there was a time when they both had about 15 videos out a week. Missy was putting out 3 vlogs a week (Mon, Wed, and Fri), Bryan was putting out 2 (on Tuesday and Thursday), then their usual daily vlogs, AND Baby League videos. They used up all their good topics for their personal channels so quick that there's nothing to really talk about anymore. If Missy kept up with posting one mommy video a week, I bet she would still have some good things to talk about on her channel.Theirmom wrote:So, I guess even her sponsored box openings don't get their own video on her channel anymore?

I'm surprised (but yet not surprised at the same time) they haven't put something out about doing a special video for Mother's Day.

With Missy having another boy, I doubt she'll be interested in doing another Mothers Day video.jodilo88 wrote:I'm surprised (but yet not surprised at the same time) they haven't put something out about doing a special video for Mother's Day.
Last years was nice but nothing compared to the year before.

The other day I was looking through the comment section of B and M's vlog, and just by curiosity, I checked out the profile of one of the minions who had commented.
The fan was (no surprise) at least 11, and her video content consisted of self made "music videos".
The videos would have song covers from popular artists, and she used her american girl dolls in them to dance and stuff.
I think one of the songs she covered was Love Runs Out, by One Republic.
True story.

Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
Hi. First post here. I lurked for a while, made an account to see pictures and finally posting because i just can't anymore.
I kind of feel bad for all of these yters i used to like. Most of them seem depressed or burnt out. B&m are pretty bad. I mean the whole reason they started missy's channel was because they had their losses and wanted to help people in their situation. Now look where they are.
I found bumps when i was having a hard time getting pregnant with our second baby, husband in the military and gone all the time. I can't believe i used to enjoy watching them although they have changed a bit since Oliver was born..

Using that watch while driving just screams major distraction to me and is no different then a phone
Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
I've seen last year's video but until I read your comment and went looking for it, I hadn't seen the year before. I am in no way a Missy fan, but that video was absolutely beautiful.hannahbanana wrote:With Missy having another boy, I doubt she'll be interested in doing another Mothers Day video.jodilo88 wrote:I'm surprised (but yet not surprised at the same time) they haven't put something out about doing a special video for Mother's Day.

Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
Hi there, long time lurker, first time poster. It's been a long and arduous journey for me with B&M and honestly I used to genuinely like them! I first came across them early on in her pregnancy with Oliver when my husband and I were TTC our first (our daughter is 3 or 4 months younger than ollie I think). Her story struck a chord with me, as I had recently been diagnosed with a complete uterine septum...at the time she was thought to have a bicornuate uterus which turned out to be a septum similar to mine. I was terrified of the potential complications and their journey did actually give me a little bit of hope. Even now, I can empathise with how missy was during her pregnancy with ollie (doctor shopping, not trusting medical professionals etc) as in my experience, some medical professionals were unfamiliar with managing pregnancy with uterine septums and could be reluctant or dismissive with things that I knew to be important.
HAVING SAID THAT I am a registered nurse/immuniser and I recall being a bit surprised by some of missys "crunchy" decisions after ollie was born. I also did not appreciate the way their family unit functioned (relying so much on missys parents etc) just because it was so different to my own lifestyle. And then one day, she posted a video on her channel and talked about inmunisations and how she was unsure about vaccinating ollie and that she was going to do some "research" (ie. Google) to figure out whether or not they should do it. Please note, I am not here to start a Pro vs Anti vax debate - its just that with my education and experience in the field, it really bugged me that she was putting out that message to thousands and thousands of viewers. So I unsubscribed.
Some time after that, I started watching the odd daily video here and there...and WOW. The cloth diapering, organic home made baby food, natural natural natural mantra had disappeared and here is a child being fed waffles, fast food and 'green juice' and sitting in front of the television for hours and hours a day. Sorry, but that child seems to have extremely poor social skills AND THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THAT. Missy has SO MUCH support and time on her hands - go to a playgroup, reading time at the library, SOMETHING to stimulate that child and socialise him with his peers.
I personally am a real homebody, but if I keep my daughter cooped up inside for more than half a day, she is beside herself. And having a 2yr old and a new baby isn't easy at the best of times, but I predict they will be regretting the habits they have taught Ollie when they have a newborn around.
Having watched their return home from Hawaii (do they realise how fortunate they are to be able to experience that as a family?) I do have a few comments. I honestly believe that Missy loves her son...i just think that she has quite a selfish nature (putting herself first, wanting everything to benefit her) and she just hasn't learned to put Ollies needs before her own. It's become a trend I think, where things get too hard so she passes ollie on to someone else for a little bit (mimi, papa, Brian, cassie, random strangers) so she can recover. The plane trip home was a classic example of this, except it seems like for whatever reason she had to suck it up and deal with him. They tried to make it 'convenient' for themselves by depriving him of sleep when he clearly wanted to nap before they left and that was probably a big mistake. Result = fussy baby on four hour plane trip. Sorry guys, but deal with the consequences of your actions and stop pouting about it.
I could go on and on, but this post is already way too long... Feels better to get that off my chest though!
