The circumstances they are under (a camera in their face every day for their entire childhood) is unlike anything history has ever seen before. Not to mention, they have access to every single day of their childhood and the way their parents play with their emotions for the camera might be embarrassing to them later on as teenagers/adults.

Honestly, probably nothing. Looking at kids of reality tv stars, nobody ever remembers them after the shows end. YT kids will be the same. I can't see vlogging lasting too far into their lives.
You don't think it may have at least a narcissistic effect?
But when it comes to embarrassment later on, I tend to agree that likely that won't happen. But there has to be a psychological effect on children born into daily vlogging. Heck, there's one on the adults that we can see usually after a couple of years vlogging.

I absolutely think it will! These kids aren't famous for WHO they are. They are famous for what they are.... families that show their lives. They have been special snowflakes since the day they were born, and encouraged to believe the hype. There is no way they will just fit into regular society. Not without good parents offering a healthy perspective anyway.
Ollie is the child of two neglectful arguably narcissistic parents. He's used to having family for an entourage! That is GOING to have some impact on who he grows up to be.

The kid doesn't lack imagination or imaginative play. We see that quite a bit from him. What he lacks is structure and adults who will put the camera down to have one on one time with him. He also has WAY to much screen time.
My 3 year old has free reign with his iPad. He can use it whenever he wants. Guess what, he hardly ever does. He'd rather play with me, or his toys, or outside. Also he can only sit through like one or two movies and hardly ever watches them. The amount of movies Ollie watches is ridiculous.

My four year old is the same way. He can't even sit through 20 minutes of a movie without wanting to do something else which usually includes drawing or working on his flash cards.
Missy looks pretty here! I wonder if she's wearing lashes? I've noticed that there's a certain filter they use some times that makes Missy look pretty. It looks similar to this, but I think this is just dark and grainy. The last time the filter was used was when they met Kandee Johnson I think.

I think Missy is pretty in general but she just has HORRIBLE skin!
I'm not one to body shame but there is no way Bryan does see how much weight he's gained.

I agree! I am overweight so I am not one to judge however Bryan's face is so bloated! It's kind of like the Prince was turned into a beast because he was ugly to the old woman, & Bryan's head is so very, very bloated to show his true colors of how full of himself he is!
I never thought about that. Most famous kids are famous because of a talent of some kind, be it acting or performing, or some cute quirk that went viral. Oliver, the poor thing, has none of that--he can barely speak, he isn't mentally gifted, and he doesn't have the chances to cultivate artistic talents. The poor kid is just going to think he deserves to be worships just because he is who he is. Anyone who hasn't drank the DB koolaid is going to think he's a spoiled little shit.
Once daily vlogging ends, and it will end, these people will have nothing to fall back on. Bryan's music career is totally dependent on their vlogs, and Missy is just a blob devoid of personality. I can see them living in a garage again but still acting like they're hot shit.
Also whomever said that Ollie looks like Minkus, I'll do you one better. I think he looks like Bryan and Jared's love child. Bryan's face and Jared's teeth.
I was watching Linz DeFranco and the difference between Ollie and Trey, who is 2!!! (3 next month) is ridiculous, I could nearly understand everything Trey was saying and Linz was teaching him very easily by asking what colour the trains were etc. Surely Missy and Bryan can see how far Ollie is behind and should be ashamed of how many basic learning opportunities they've missed...

Oh, he definitely doesn't see it. How could he possibly see it when all he does it look at himself in the viewfinder/through a lens, where all he does is get those ~flawless angles~ ? #wokeuplikethith #flawleth
I think he knows how much weight he's gained, otherwise he wouldn't be photoshopping his pictures all the time and posing in ways to hide his chunk. As much as he has a massive ego, it's safe to say he has insecurities. If he wasn't so lazy I'm sure he would be more motivated to lose weight.

I interpret you comment to mean that no one will really care in the future. I agree that that is one possibility. However, YouTube kids are still a lot different than reality show kids, because even though reality shows on mainstream TV networks are invasive of kids' privacy (like Jon & Kate Plus Eight), they still have to follow child labor laws. They cut out some of the super embarrassing moments as well. On YouTube, the discretion is totally up to the parents. There is no law about how many hours a day their child can be filmed, and they can vlog them sick, on the toilet, in the bath, etc. because they don't have to play by Hollywood rules. So I think it is way worse. And kids on reality shows don't have every single day of their life filmed, either. I think it's creepy and if every day of my life were filmed, I would burn the footage if I could. I don't think the human mind can handle documentation of every moment of your life. Forgetting certain things that have happened is one of the ways we preserve our sanity.

The doctor may have said it was alright to take Finn out of the house while sick...I don't know...but if my very young child were just diagnosed with possible pneumonia, guess where we'd be? That's right, at home, resting, drinking juice, taking our medications, breathing treatments, humidifiers, cuddling, and making sure we weren't around more germs to make us even more sick.
I'm appalled at these two. APPALLED. I have this feeling in my gut that Missy lied to the doctors and told them she gave Finn his nebulizer treatments as prescribed, when in fact she likely did not. I have this feeling Missy lies to people constantly so that she seems the victim. The wallet situation, Finn's constant sickness, and many other things you clever people have all seen for yourselves.
I'm not a perfect parent. There is no such person. But for the important things in our life: health, education, spiritual upbringing, safety...I don't fail. My children each know they are loved and important to me. I apologize when I make mistakes. I forgive when they make them. I listen to them.
They're not ready to be parents, but they are parents. We talk about Oliver being behind...but Missy and Bryan are the ones who are behind. They have the maturity of teenagers, still. We'll never see them when they're older, but this lifestyle will crush them in time. It will ruin those children unless they wise up and start building a strong family foundation not made of material things.
Yep! They went out AND he was walking around barefoot on the cold floor in Build a bear! #idiots
I expected better from the music video. The water scenes could have been good, but they were too dark.
It's the one song on the album that I actually liked. The video kinda ruined it. It was really bad.
A bit behind-- all the talk about BBWS reminded me of this other family my daughter watches-- The Weiss Life. They have a bunch of girls, and they go to BBWS at least every two weeks. Every time a new set comes out, they go again. I don't know if they have a deal, or what. It's weird. Don't even know if they have a thread.
