Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
I feel so bad for Karma... You can't just send an adult dog away for training like that. If they worked with him at home or took him to classes that would be different, but they basically just sent him away from the family he's known his whole life. At least Luna is a puppy and doesn't really recognize them as family and home.
Our nine and six year old dogs would just think they were being abandoned if we sent them away like that, especially since one is a rescue. Poor Karma.

This is an interesting video . How much youtubers make and what they can write off on taxes in some examples. So those trips that the bumps take are basically all free since they can write the whole trip off on taxes. Who knows all those home improvements might be tax deductions as well. All those toys they buy might be a tax deductions since they put them in the video.

Tax deductions do not equal free though. They are a discount. I hope B&M aren't planning these trips because they think they are getting them everything for free. If so, their money manager isn't doing his/her job in advising them. If they plan a $40k tripMomto3boys wrote: This is an interesting video . Tax deductions aren't smart if they are taking money out of your monthly spending (like all the car loans, gas insurance). If they are buying things that aren't going to somehow increase their income, then they are still spending money even if it's a deduction. This means less money in their pocket or long-term savings.

Plus, why would Karma need it if it's to help walk him? He's always been a good walker. They've even been able to keep him off leash and he's fine.HelloSweetie wrote:That may be, but Karma is giving off some tense body language here.Theirmom wrote:Not a muzzle. They're WAY superior to choke or prong collars, and they cause zero pain or discomfort for the dog.
Finn and Karma are both cute, but there is nothing cute about that photo in my opinion.

Let's say you earn $100, and your tax rate is 40% (for simplicity's sake). That means that the government takes $40 of your $100.
A deduction is when you buy something the government deems necessary for your income, and will reduce some of what you owe (we'll say 50%, for easy math).
So, say you bought a business necessity for $10. That means when you claim it on your income tax, it would remove $5 (50% of $10) from the $40 you owe. So, you'd owe $35 on the $100 you earned. The $10 item wasn't free, it was discounted.
A 50% deductible isn't common, it's the number I used for simplicity. It's not good economics to spend money to save on taxes.
The only "good" deductions are dependents (children and non-working spouses) that don't cost very much money.
So, essentially, the bumps aren't getting anything for free, their purchases just put them into a lower tax bracket. (I really hope that made sense. I'm hung over lol)

DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
WOW!! Today's vlog!!! The way missy was talking about seeing the dogs for the first time!?! YOU DONT EVEN talk about your kids this way!!! You've never mentioned missing them soooo much that you just want to kiss their faces. Saying it has been SOO SOOO SOO HARD TO BE WITHOUT THEM?!? Wtf!! It sounds like a woman talking about her kids!! But nope!! Her dogs!! And I totally get feeling this way toward your dogs but to me children come first. She's never showed that type of emotion to her own kids not even husband. Sad.
You couldn't even look in the camera when saying certain things. So fake. You didn't miss the dogs, it was all a front. Stop making excuses. Sending their dogs away for boarding and training must've been a pretty penny and for two dogs wow!!
DO NOT WATCH. Extremely boring!!! I promise you. Barely enough to hate watch. They are running out of content and FAST!!! It's getting old $$$$$
Missy true weight showed today in the vlog.

The dogs are home the next thing we will see is Finn in a training center and be gone for 5 weeks too so they can get him weaned LOL. I know it doesnt exist but if it did Missy and Bryan would put him in there I can see them sending Finn to boarding school at 3 though LOLsarahelizabeth_1 wrote:Ugh why is parenting Finn such a chore for these people? They really should have just stopped after Ollie.
How sad is it that they never have a family dinner. They should routinely eat dinner together as a family, and eating the same thing. I just can't believe these people feed their kids junk food every day and put them to bed so they can have a different dinner and not be bothered with them.
Side note and totally off topic: every time I see someone post about GF my mind reads it as gluten free

It would be easier to train them if they actually exercised their dogs.

I still think these are the most pathetic people ever, for not training their damn dogs on their own. You wanted a dog - YOU TRAIN IT. If I can train TWO huskies, who are WAY more energetic than Aussie Sheps, these two lazy bums should be able to.
Key word is LAZY.
Not to mention, they don't even take the dogs for walks EVER, so why do are they making such big deal about training?

lmmomSD wrote:And like I have said, even if they have a money "manager", that person is their employee. He/she doesn't dictate what they do with their money, just advises them. In the end they do what they want with their money, and if you want to keep working for them, eventually you shut up and just make the arrangements.
Like Theirmom and HS said, I don't side eye their staying at GF because of the expense alone. It's because all of their spending is about showing off and making up to themselves for what they think of as "deprived" childhoods. Bryan was raised by a single mom and probably didn't have all the latest toys, and Missy was raised in a fundamental Christian community and "missed out" too. And neither of them was "popular". So it's all about showing off, getting whatever they want when they want it, and not what is best for or even going to interest their kids.

This. My father is an account for universal music, and he is the money manager (and accountant) of a bunch of artists. They just call him if they need him to release more money ect.. since most set up their stuff as a corporation for tax reasons
Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
Hmm, why would Mimi be so excited to see Karma that she had to go with them? Could it be so she learns the commands? I mean, my mom loves my dog, but she wouldn't go with us to our boarding place because she missed him.

I think you are right. Mimi keeps him a lot when they go on trips, or just when they just throw a party or have friends over. It would make sense that she would learn the commands.Cgl33 wrote:Hmm, why would Mimi be so excited to see Karma that she had to go with them? Could it be so she learns the commands? Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
Bryan uploaded an Instagram story of himself with a huge chocolate bunny with the ears eaten off. Great. That is all he needs.
Ollie's face keeps getting rounder and rounder, just like Bryan's. They really need to reassess that child's diet.

Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
So a waitress from Red Robin tweets a photo and compliment in HUGE LETTERS about the GREAT TIP that Bryan left her. That's fine and completely out of Bryan's hands and was a sweet gesture, however, Bryan feels the need to re tweet and put on FB and everywhere else under the guise that "even Finn is smiling" as if he is the grump puss of the family and doesn't smile when all along we know he wants us to see how GENEROUS HE IS AND WOW A GREAT TIPPER!!!
He is so transparent.

Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
I'm going to give him a pass on the generous tip retweet. She included a photo and thanked them for coming in. I think it's appropriate to retweet a viewer's photo. If she just tweeted that he was a great tipper and he retweeted it, then I'd judge.

Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
But I think it's an anomaly with him. He just doesn't strike me as a good tipper. Somehow I think that if she hadn't recognized him and gotten a picture, he wouldn't have left a "great tip". His entitled attitude, the way he lets Ollie run wild at restaurants, and the way he jumps on Twitter any time he's displeased, just add up to "bad tipper" to me.Cgl33 wrote:I'm going to give him a pass on the generous tip retweet. Anyone else think the timing of the "great tip" is curious given the discussion about it last week? Maybe he saw an opportunity when he realized the server knew who he was?
