I could be wrong but didn't Jess say something awhile ago about how they couldn't test him properly until he was five? Maybe he just got tested or is going to soon and there's no results yet.SamanthaLovettx wrote:Has anything about Kaden and autism ever been brought up again yet? I just find it really hard to believe Jess is only getting Landen checked out now. Yes she is an idiot but he was her golden boy before Addie came along (and still is really). She must be over-exaggerating...I'm guessing he doesn't sleep in the car that often because even if you really didn't want to take him to see a doctor, screaming like that each time you go for a drive must be impossible to put up with/ignore plus would cause a massive scene.

My guess with the Landon thing is for a while she just thought he sat funny or his legs fell asleep in the car causing the pain, and she was too busy being run off her feet by her hundred other kids, and only made the connection with the sac of fluid recently-ish. Like a eureka moment.

For autism/aspbergers? I taught at a preschool and students were diagnosed prior to attending and while attending. All under 5. My cousin's son was diagnosed before the age of two, but he is severe. The ones at the preschool were on the spectrum, but would be able to be mainstreamed.julietpreston wrote:I could be wrong but didn't Jess say something awhile ago about how they couldn't test him properly until he was five? You're right. They usually have their first screenings around 3. Early intervention is key. I would assume they've both been screened at pre schoolDucklings4 wrote:For autism/aspbergers? It could've been, about a year ago was when she announced her pregnancy with Addie, so she would've been pretty consumed by that... I can't believe she didn't get a second opinion when he was smaller, especially after all the "doctor shopping" she's done for her pregnancies, and her medical "expertise" ahem Dr Google, you'd think she'd get it looked at before now. It's as though she loses interest in their wellbeing as soon as the baby is not completely dependent on her and her alonewhattheactual wrote:I feel like Jess might have been exaggerating this a bit, for the drama. I don't think she would really go a year without checking it out. Remember, he was the golden child before addie was born, and a year ago Addie would have not even existed. I also feel like maybe she thought it was like a weird phase he would grow out of. Idk, i just high doubt it was actually a year.dazzled wrote:How can you not go to the doctor again for one entire fucking year if your child is crying because he's in so much pain? Poor, poor Landen. If that was Addie, she'd been at the doctor's after the first time.

It also makes sense in this case because, if Landen does have a sac on his spine, the difference in angle could be putting more pressure on the areanutbagmcgee wrote:It is true. When we ride in the car for a long time my kids complain about their legs. I put the cooler or pillows under their legs so they don't dangle.whattheactual wrote:cjl123 wrote:
Also, I read in the comments that people thought it could be because of him forward facing and apparently that can cause pains because the child's feet are now dangling, anyone know if this is true?
Unless Landen was in the car for hours, that definitely isn't the issue though.

I bet she doesn't understand what has to happen for a child landens age to get an MRI.... he will most likely need to be put under so he doesn't move.

I hope she stopped as soon as Landen woke up crying and took him out of his carseat. Whatever it is, it only happens when he sits in a carseat, so something must push on that spesific area and only when he is asleep (his whole weight is only supported by his legs and butt really), which might set off cramps, or something. I hope she only recorded him once, but otherwise comforted him, since she says it's a daily occurence by now.

I worked as a dental assistant at a pediatric office before I had a baby. You would all be shocked at how many parents don't pay attention to their kid's teeth. It doesn't surprise me that Jesss didn't notice the abscess

I'm guessing she will never mention it if she finds out that Kaden is on the spectrum. She deliberately didn't mention this spine sack thing when she was pregnant with Landon - she doesn't want anyone to think that her family isn't "perfect"SamanthaLovettx wrote:Has anything about Kaden and autism ever been brought up again yet? I don't think him having autism is something she could just lie about and I think it would be really shitty to hide it. It's possible that he's just not on the spectrum, which I personally don't think he is. If he is, then he has something high functioning like Aspergers.

I mean it's not really anyone's business what medical issues her kids have.Shawn2011 wrote:I'm guessing she will never mention it if she finds out that Kaden is on the spectrum. That's never been important to Jessica though. It isn't anyone's business if Drake or Gabe were circumcised but she told everyone that.whattheactual wrote:I mean it's not really anyone's business what medical issues her kids have.Shawn2011 wrote:I'm guessing she will never mention it if she finds out that Kaden is on the spectrum. I mean it's not really anyone's business what goes on in Jess's and her children's lives except for the business of those directly involved, yet Jess chose to exploit their lives. Therefore, her children and Jess's poor parenting choices have essentially become our business through no fault of our own. She made it our business by creating a YouTube channelwhattheactual wrote:I mean it's not really anyone's business what medical issues her kids have.Shawn2011 wrote:

Just because someone chooses to put part of their lives in the public eye doesn't give you a right to invade their privacy or know their medical issues.
Same goes for famous people. Just because they are in movies or do concerts or whatever doesn't open up their privacy.

Re: Jesssfam: Hoarders- Baby Daddy Edition (Part 90)
But I don't understand the issue with hiding autism of all things? People with autism tend to not be secretive or ashamed about it, do they? I find it to be like an allergy or injury; people might notice you have it by your behaviour, so you can tell them to clear things up.
"sorry my kid didn't taste your cake, he's lactose intolerant"
"sorry my kid can't do PE today, he strained his knee:
"sorry my kid had to leave your kid's party early, he is autistic and was over stimulated".
It's not like she's describing something one should hide about their kids, something private and possibly embarrassing, like their genitalia... oh wait.

Re: Jesssfam: Hoarders- Baby Daddy Edition (Part 90)
Does anyone else think it's really weird that she goes to bed at 5 am when editing videos? That's insane to me. I have three kids and my newborn went to sleep at 2 last night and I was up this morning at 6:30 with my kids. I'm tired as shit right now.. How the hell does she go to bed at 5?
