I have never built a house but my husband had our house built before I met him. All of our cabinets coordinate. Meaning, they are all the same color- bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room. Also, our tile is the same in all bathrooms and slightly bigger tile laid on the diagonal in the kitchen, foyer, hallway. But all the same color.

Does this make us boring? Or are quadneck and quadback going overboard? What is your experience?

We are building at the moment. I have almost the same flooring. Ahhhhh I’m sure it will be fine in my house. We have the same tiles in the bathrooms with different feature tiles in the niche in the showers. And our cabinets are different but we have feature cabinets in our overhead kitchen cabinets. I’m not a fan of A&T’s house it’s too much of a mix match. Doesn’t really have a style. And I really hate the blue colour in her bedroom

A few pix today I happened to capture;

The first being the comment on instagram. hahaha it was still up last time I looked.

The second; hilarious how she paused looking in the "toy drawer" and finding the big old bug (roach?) scurrying around.

Third and fourth being when The Heavy is trying to string together a sentence; we see Esme go to standing in the high chair screaming "want out want out". cASHley pans to the right to get Esme out of the photo and The Pie looks at her and copies her and goes to standing in the high chair. Off goes the camera.

I wonder why in the world anyone would put lights in those darkened cabinets at the top with glass doors. Why put doors in at all if they are going to feature all the crap that Two Ton Tyler is going to place up there.

And the refrigerator is going to be the size of two Weeping Waddling Whales?

I’m not a fan of the cabinets either & definitely don’t like the patchwork quilt look on the bathroom floors, whoever mentioned the tile around the tub was correct it’s definitely a plastic surround they glue to the wall. The floor in the guest bathroom looks very modern ( the one with the arrow look) & the vanity cabinet does to ornate & does not match!
The fireplace hearth to me looks like it is all wood, even the top where you sit, I would think they would have put a nice piece of marble on it & yes the designs are different from the drawers, it looks stupid
Floor downstairs are definitely laminate, it looks a lot like the floor they have in their rental, I’m curious to see what countertops tops they put in. I don’t know how they will ever be able to watch tv in that family room with all those windows, if they close them up with blinds or curtains what would have been the point of putting them in for the Mountain View ? One big picture window would have been sufficient! I really don’t think all of the girls toys will fit in those drawers!

Are you referring to the downstairs flooring? If so there is nothing wrong with laminate, they have come a long way with it to resemble real wood, I have it in my house, love it it’s so durable with 4 crazy grandsons, dog & a messy husband LOL! I’m sure it will be beautiful!

I was underwhelmed by the kitchen cabinets they have been raving about. There didn’t seem to be a lot of cabinets. They could have added more. They do have the pantry I guess. The lighted cabinets are nice, but what benefit do they give them? They are only going to display pumpkins and Christmas elves .
I cringed when they were hanging off the scaffolding. I hope the workers check their equipment before they get in it. It is construction equipment. Not a jungle gym.
Old Navy clothes may run small but maybe your kids run big.

Not sure why but it bothers me when Trashley points to things while she's vlogging. Seriously can't stand it.
The girls bathroom is configured oddly to me. The bathtub in a separate room is strange, looks like it's in a teeny closet. Wonder if they redesigned it that way?

It's not just you Ham; I've posted about it before so I'm glad I'm not alone! I think it's the way she puts her palm flat and then points all her fingers upward that makes me cringe. Super petty, I know, but it really, really gets on my nerves.

He probably went to pick up their dinner. They are famous for feeding the girls shit and getting take out or grilling out for themselves. Selfish pigs. They probably fed the girls ramen noodles and ate something expensive for their greedy selves.

When the KADs say that Esme looks like Papa, is that supposed to be a compliment? I'd be pissed if someone told me my baby looked like a shrivled old pervert.

ASSWIT that’s thick paper they put down to protect your “hardwood” floors not crepe paper.

Such a dumbshit. And those floors are not hardwood. They aren’t even a good interpretation of a plastic laminate.

Subway tile in the girls and guest bathtubs? I think not. Those were prefabricated tubs with a acrylic prefabricated “subway looking tile” surround. Meaning they are plastic. You could hear the hollow sound when she tapped her fingernails on it. They really cheaped out on those two bathrooms. The tile on the floor looks like a quilt.

The drawers on each side of the fireplace are going to hold toys. That’s nice. The wood trim/decor on the hearth should have matched the wood trim/decor on the drawers. Big design mistake there. It’s all about continuity. The raised hearth looks redic. I know she wants to sit on the hearth and watch Christmas movies like when she was a kid. It would look better without it.

Kitchen cabinets? Very outdated. Very busy looking. The flooring has a lot of variations in in which makes for a busy look and now the cabinets have to compete with the floor. Can’t wait to see what she chose for the kitchen counters. I have a feeling those are going to have to compete with the cabinets and the floor. There’s going to be a lot going on in that room. Just my opinion. Not my style. I just remodeled my kitchen and went with white but did a “shaker” style cabinet it’s a cleaner look.

Jodi didn’t seem too impressed with the cabinets. She could barely muster up “yeah it’s really nice” in a monotone voice while she scratched her head. I don’t have to be a body language expert to read into that answer and head scratching moment. It looks like they dragged her out of bed to come help them. Maybe she had to get ready so fast she didn’t have time to put on a bra.

They are letting them play on scaffolding. Hanging and swinging from it. Surreal. Playing on construction equipment. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.

Polka dot Mimi and the old coot. I’m getting to not be able to stomach the old coots face. I feel bile rising up from my stomach. Time for a Xanax.

I went back and watched the fart. What a pig he is, I'd knock my husband into next week if he laid around farting like that in front of the whole world. I am not a fan of the raised fireplace either. Looks like a house built in the 70's. So we finally know where the play room is, the four drawers beside the fireplace, ugly. Lights over the kitchen cabinet, what a waste of space.

You should be ashamed of yourself asking people to send clothes to your over privileged little monsters when there are so many worthwhile charities the clothes could go to. I broke down and watched today's vlog. I never could find the fart scene! The one thing that stuck out to me is how loud and rambunctious the girls are. The Busby quints are busy, but not over the top loud and rambunctious. I suppose it all boils down to what they see their parents model and how the parents raise them.
