I can tell you it sucks to be with someone who is convinced that everything wrong with your marriage is your fault, and they're perfect. It really wears you down. It's even hard being divorced from someone like that! The one good thing is that now that my kids are older, they see the truth. If Katie tries badmouthing Cullen around the kids, it could backfire.

If I wasn't married, I would show Cullen real love and affection and adhere to his love languages. ;) We have not seen Katie do Acts of Service for him (except leaf blowing) or Words of Affirmation. So by complaining of what a bad job he did, that's complete opposite of his love language. C'mon Katie, even my toddler would know the difference.

Katie has changed SO much since YT became their FT business. I remember when they were in Tally, she was cutting coupons for groceries - that's when it was the two of them! Now, with a family of four, large house and suburban... she doesn't even try to hide she's spending so much money. Cullen, to me, has remained the same being his goofy, inappropriate, fun self. Katie sure doesn't realize how great she has it.... until it's gone.

I am so ready for Brooks to leave the pacifier in his bed. Does he really need it at gymnastics?

C&K: The 'D' Word. Part #17

Why was Gaines doing the parachute with Brooks’ gymnastics class? They should have made her wait for her own class to start. Even if the coach said it was ok. She needs to start learning that not everything is about her.

So funny to teach your kids to mess around on the fences at zoos. They are teaching their kids that rules don’t apply to them. I can’t imagine how they’ll be as teenagers.

As soon as I saw that vlog title, I thought the same thing. "Breaking the Rules". Right. Because rules don't apply to us. We can run around on the golf course, and let our dogs do the same, leave you in the car while we go into a restaurant, vlog while driving, drive our golf cart with a buzz on, and pretty much do whatever else you want.
They're going to pay a price when Gaines is older, if they keep teaching her that. Grade school is going to be hard, but when she's a teen, they're really going to have a rough time. "But mom! You said I was special, and that the rules don't apply to us!"

Can I just say how happy I am that a forum like this exists? Reading some of the comments defending Cullen putting Gaines on the fence at the zoo is making me angry. The bullshit these people come up with to defend vloggers is ridiculous. Glad we can discuss these things here without minions to deal with.

Just like people defend them leaving Games in the car when they went to the restaurant... People will defend them for just about anything.

The problem with most of the subscribers is they feel these YouTube “stars” could do no wrong. This happens when fans idolize celebrities as well. They need to learn that it is ok to not agree with something C&K do, but still be able to like them. I hate the “well don’t watch if you don’t agree with what they did”.

That kid is either shoveling food in his mouth, sucking on a pacifier or whining. They definitely take the easy route to keep him quiet. God forbid they teach him to use words or sign language like they did with Gaines... that would take patience and effort.

I’ve noticed he’s not as whiney when he actually has some stimulation. Like, in the garage with Cullen in yesterday’s vlog or playing outside. Maybe he’s bored as shit inside all day watching his parents loaf around the house or argue.

The gym we go to encourages older siblings to play during certain parts of gymnastics if they're waiting. I don't mind that, there are many other ways they could show Gaines that not everything is about her.

Double post but can I just say 3 and a half years later, I still hate that name. I swear every time I type out the name "Gaines" I think to myself what in the hell were these people thinking. Especially with Macey being such a cute name. Ugh.

I don't get how you can justify putting your kid on the fence at the zoo when things like the Harambe incident wasn't that long ago.

Their super parenting skills will prevent anything from happening to the kids.

No, it's the magical vlogging bubble. They can vlog while driving, leave the kids in the car, vlog with Brooks in Cullen's lap driving around the Home Depot parking lot, and let the kids dance on the counters. And nothing bad will happen.

How could I forget about the magical vlogging bubble? Too bad it doesn’t save marriages.

Speaking of their marriage, I couldn’t believe what an asshole Katie was about Emma stepping the paint. The man is ON THE STAIRS painting. She can’t watch the dogs for a few minutes??

I feel like her frustrations have nothing to do with the garage / duct tape / paint and more with the condition of their marriage / life. I feel like things have gotten worse and not better since they’ve been discussing they had issues.

I think they are at the point where anything and everything Cullen does annoys Katie. Cullen is pretty much the same as he's always been...immature and child like. Perhaps at the start of their relationship she found that amusing. She was laughing at all his nonsense and encouraging his behavior. Now that years have gone by and the children are here, Cullen is home all day acting like child #3 and money is tight it all has changed. She probably wishes he had an outside, well paying job and she had time alone without him under her feet all day. The cute funny guy in his '20's has now become an obnoxious, irresponsible 30 closing in on 40 something and she no longer finds it charming. I may be totally wrong but that's how I see it...he is the same, she has changed.
