She is entirely a narcassit and I bet her kids will be going to therapy and hitting up child of narc support groups.

She cannot see anything she does as wrong because she's perfect in her eyes. It makes you wonder why she thinks she needs a savior.

Narcs USE religion to be superior.

I really think Tawras father was LUCKY to get away from all the sickness that is Tawra and Jill

For a Narcissist, it’s all about the allusion. If I am religious – if I can quote scripture – than I must be good – because people that read the bible are all good and if I am good and I know the word of God, that means that if you disagree with me, then you must be wrong.

Narcissists can be exceedingly charming as well. Their charisma and ability to manipulate is perfectly suited to a public occupation, bent on luring the masses.

The difference is that every truly great spiritual preacher has an innate ability to provide a scenario, which we can all relate to, which provides us with valuable life lessons, that we can incorporate into our daily lives – they are teachers, showing us how to grow and be better.

A Narcissist that quotes scripture, in contrast, uses it for very different reasons. It’s never used for the purpose of spiritual teaching, it’s used to manipulate and prove that they themselves are righteous and that you, who are not as special, not as gifted and not as deserving, should follow and trust them.

I’m sure that there are some Narcissists that do feel lost and go in search of God, but due to the nature of their impairment, the true essence of spirituality will always elude them.

^^^^^^^^^^^^TAWRA IN A NUTSHELL!

Im gonna say something shocking. I FEEL SO SORRY FOR TAWRA! I think Jill is the Big Edie in this story.
I think Tawra would have had a normal life if not for Jill/Big Edie.

For those unaware, Big Edie Beale was a cousin of Jackie Kennedy. Big Edie was a huge manipulative Narc, who controlled and damaged her daughter
Little Edie to the point that she too became a narc, in the documentary GREY GARDENS...
However, Big Edie was a small town lounge singer, but Little Edie actually had Talent, which Big Edie SQUASHED, So Little Edie never did anything with her life, but cow tow to her Mothers whims. Just like when Jill forced Tawra to come home from COLLEGE. Jill killed Tawras opportunities.

In one of the Penny Pinching Momma stories, Tawra said she got a full scholarship to a Swedish or Swiss college and maybe 2 months in Jill made her come home...

I thought elle had a job too? Since Tawra and Mike didnt save to pay for their kids college and make too much money for the kids to get grants, she is likely working and living at home to save for school.

Elly is now selling soap she buys wholesale. She wraps it and sells it. The shit comes pre-cut, so she doesn't even have to do that. She also sells "goat milk cream"... It's another pre-made item she buys in bulk and dumps some in a bowl and adds some fragrance oil to it and dumps it into containers and sells it. Elly seems just as lazy as her mother. Lotion is extremely easy to make and would cost a hell of a lot less to make on her own. They don't care about the quality of the ingredients going in, they're concerned about making the most money with the least amount of work.

I certainly wouldnt buy soap or lotion from them with the hygiene issues. The chickeny hands and the throwing of eggshells across the room,
and the dirty floor.

So many people buy things wholesale from China repackage it and sell it. They are often the ones saying to buy local or homemade and to support small businesses.

To be fair, they said that she buys her stuff from a US business. I'm not mad at Elly's business. She does not seem to overcharge and it's better than being an Avon Rep.

That said, i agree with the hygiene issue. I also dont buy extreme couponers stock from garage sales or whatever either. I dont trust the way things are stored. Hers is more problematic as she is mixing in scents. It would be good to know what the workspace is. If it's her mom's kitchen? Ewe, gross, salmonella and everything else.

Its great that its a US made product, BUT my issue with this entire thing is that these kids are being set up to have the same lifestyle as Jill, and Tawra and Mike have.
No higher education or trade school!
Look at the ENTIRE Duggar clan! No College and now they are struggling to make a living away from TV or a used car lot, cause JimBob is the only one on that show getting paid, the kids got NOTHING!
They are now trying to be YouTube and IG influencers.

Such a waste. Illegal immigrants risk their lives to come here to attain a better life, Malala Yusefzai got SHOT trying to get an education, BLACK women are out pacing white ppl in higher education now... Meanwhile Tawra wants her kids to be like her.

A lot of the ppl in Covid that are outta work are ppl who had jobs that didnt require college or trades. My plumber neighbor and my Painter neighbor are still working, My fave neighbor is working cause shes a teacher and is now teaching students via Zoom. But salespeople at stores, wait staff, etc are all out of work!

I hafta say that I really blame Mike here, he NEVER should have stopped working in Tv. And neither should have had kids when they had no money.

Also, what happened to Ellys Starbucks job? Did she quit to go to Europe then decide to sell soap? How many ppl wouldnt love to quit their jobs to go to Europe for 7 weeks.

They just want to do minimal effort for their lives, meanwhile we are all paying for them.

She may still be working at Starbucks. I dont think that have shared she quit. But i would in a heart beat to go to Europe with my family. They havent shared her future plans. The older boy, I forger his name, is in college.

Look, these people are nuts, but I dont want to drag the kids down. Posting about what we know about the adults is plenty fodder.

Im not dragging the kids down, I just am sad that they will stay the same as their parents. Taking college courses at home isnt getting away from the parents and figuring out things for themselves. The dorm experience and figuring out who you are away from mom and dad and being exposed to different ppl is invaluable. Even The Amish believe in that.

I'm not dragging them down... Tawra and Mike have done that themselves. Making soap and body care products in your kitchen, utilizing the same utensils that you use to prepare food is a serious violation... Consumer Product Safety Commission and/or the FDA. Why set your kid up for failure? If you want her to be just like you, that's all well and good. Most people would like for their children to be better and would research the business guidelines and require sanitary conditions to be met. There is nothing sanitary about the process... The FDA would have a field day with her "business".

Most people would have to have a separate commercial kitchen to not be in violation of health code.

Has anyone they've ever stolen a recipe from attempted to sue them? Do they change the recipes at all or is it verbatim? I was wondering if she finds old church cookbooks at yardsales and takes recipes from people who are either dead or aren't looking out for thieves but church lady recipes are usually AMAZING and her food is disgusting.

I did research a while back because I think its very wrong to push off someone elses work as your own.

And plagiarism is not illegal. Each recipe on its own is not under copyright. The law would only protect if she was scanning pages and reprinting because the cookbook as a whole is protected. We could put together a poorly worded story about this chat group and take all of her stolen recipes to print. She couldn't sue us.

Her cookbook is unethical. But Tawra only has ethics when it is self serving in some way. So stealing recipes is basically what she is about. She has said herself she cant cook MANY TIMES. She fucks up her food VERY often. Even posts and laughs at what a crappy cook she is.

She is undereducated and too old to remember high school. So she never had to abide by a scholarly code of ethics. She doesn't know or have ethical standards.

I know Tawra mentioned she used the same items from soap making in cooking, but elly is just adding fragrance and dumping bulk product in packaging. She is not hand crafting the soap. It would be LEGAL to make the soaps and lotion in that kitchen. And that's where i have pause in ordering but other people may not realize that they are ordering a product from a Petri dish of raw chicken hands.

The fact that they use the same utensils to prepare food and put together goat milk cream (now) and soap (tawra) blows my mind. It may be legal to make it in their kitchen but it's not sanitary or SAFE to mix lye in your kitchen dishes.

I can't wait to see the recipes in the new book. She's been searching the internet high and low for good recipes and posting on the fb page like a mad woman.

Good for her, I suppose. She is making a living off of copying recipes and putting them in a book...

Does anyone recall that lawsuit yrs ago where this woman was served coffee or another beverage in which the coffee pot or somethng had lye in it (from cleaning?) and she basically dissolved her throat and vocal cords?

https://www.newser.com/story/192492/wom ... h-lye.html

"It's disturbing that this kind of toxic, poisonous material would be in the food-prep area and somehow find its way into the iced tea vat," her attorney says. "I don't know how something like that can happen." Harding appears to be the first and only victim, and a local police official says it's fortunate the restaurant wasn't busy: "If someone had swallowed it, it could have been potentially fatal," he says. Adds a chemistry expert, "It would start dissolving your insides." The chemical, found in products like Drano and also used to de-grease deep fryers, is also called sodium hydroxide and was added to the tea in powder form. Doctors are still trying to determine if it lacerated Harding's esophagus or stomach. The restaurant is participating in the investigation and remains open for business. (Check out what one doctor laced her lover's coffee with.)
