Hi I didn't find out I was pregnant with my last ( of four babies ) until 27 weeks and when I say didn't find out I mean went repeatedly to the Dr and received negative pregnancy tests . an internal exam at more than 3 months and was still told no in fact was even prescribed different birth control by hospital whilst pregnant. My youngest was conceived as it turns out a week prior to the sudden accidental death of my then 12 yr old son. The only other lady I know it happened to was in a car crash that killed her fiance whilst in France she was badly injured eventually flown back to Aus was operated on etc and then at 26 weeks found out was pregnant. Only mention as we felt it was something to to with severe grief ( anecdotally some midwives, gp's agreed) and if she just separated maybe that grief did a similar thing its very odd. ( Not an overweight person , kids are spaced 5 yrs appart. I found out at 23 weeks 4 days. I had gone through a rough relationship that was mentally abusive and decided to leave when I was 8 weeks. Bc of the stress I didn’t think I was pregnant just the stress was throwing off my body. I lost weight and had negative test when my period was late. I only found out when I went to emergency room for severe dehydration and an infection. A friend of my ex told me that my ex was messing with condoms in order to get me pregnant so I’d stay and take care of him and after I found out I was pregnant and told him it wasn’t changing anything, he didn’t want anything to do with our son. So my mom and dad are helping me.
