Yeah this is very true. I remember a couple years ago we all pointed out that the three older ones didn't even draw people. They only drew numbers and mazes which is just weird. Yes kids get obsessed with things quickly and with 3 kids so close in age they will copy each other. But this was months of them never drawing a single face, person or even just a lousy stickman. Someone pointed out that this is due to them seeing so little people outside of their own family.ytwatcher123 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 9:41 pm God their life looks so boring. I understand that they just had twins but even before that they only ever went to shopping centres or playgrounds. Why no museums? (most in Australia are free and have kid friendly sections), bushwalks? Sports? Elaborate craft? dress ups? dolls? (every preschool has a toy section for playing house because it is very beneficial to children's development).
They wouldn't even have to leave the house to have more fun. When I was a kid (in the holidays) we were left to our own devices at home with no expensive toys and even then we'd still come up with things to do like building things out of sticks and rocks and playing elaborate make believe games that would span days. I think because of Chloe's repetitious ways the kids have very little imagination...

Imagination needs to be sparked and preferably this is done with a broad spectrum of toys, books, stories, movies, outings etc. The triplets right now are at the perfect age because 5 year old's generally will get excited about everything, you can give them a fork and they will figure out a way to play with it. These kids just don't because they are not being encouraged to explore or use their imagination. The only thing they see is an insane amount of toys (that they really don't need), two grey blobs that say they are their parents and books which although great can also be over done (especially for kids who can't even read yet).
They need to be outside, they need to be eating grass because we all once wondered what that tasted like, they need to be encouraged to exercise because it's fun (no Chloe this is not another chance to project your insecurities about your body on your kids by obsessively having them do the most boring types of exercise). They need to see the great biodiversity Perth has to offer, have them pick up a worm and draw it followed by them reading about the qualities and abilities of a worm, it's really that easy.
The oldest 6 are 5, 6, 8 and basically 9, what exactly is she juggling? These kids should be more than capable to play on their own (and even with their very limited imagination they probably are) and have little adventures with whoever they are playing with that day. Chloe isn't actually schooling them either so what is she doing all day? We know Ro takes care of the house and probably does most of the hard work with the twins so what does Chloe do all day?
