LOL. Lucy is acting dumb to evade answering. I wonder if she will answer publicly. I would LOVE her to answer this question honestly, but if she does answer she'll probably give the usual shtick that they are "a'ways 10 steps ahead and save up" for big purchases and Joel has the luxury in this economy to "work extra days/shifts" to support the upcoming birth, even though her videos show otherwise.

I doubt she will say what she actually does, either because it isn't really a job (YT, Fairhaven Health, ConceiveEasy) or her vlogging may hinder the company's credibility or her credibility with fans. Maybe her parents pulled strings and got her a "job." Maybe she's a "geological analyst" for her dad's oil rig again? Maybe she monitors stuff remotely from home? Personally, I doubt it's anything other than making videos and writing bad articles.

Not only writing bad articles but most of her articles that I have seen are about fertility issues, which she knows nothing about, or TTC which it doesn't seem like she has any experience with... hasn't she gotten pregnant like the first cycle that they have been "trying" according to her videos?

LOL she used to lie and tell people that she posted all comments that she received ... now she is at least true to people that she only posts some of the comments... but if you ever publicly called her out on not approving your comment she would trash talk you for days and call you a liar.

Okay, let me get something straight. In the V-day video, it's 12 (I'm assuming everyone just woke up bc Lucy is in pjs and Joel in undies), Joel is standing in the kitchen cooking "dinner". Even though he went out to eat w/ Jacelyn. WTF? He cooked Lucy's lazy ass dinner so it would be ready for her later??

Also, YouTube is her only work at home job. Unless she's made any new articles for conceive easy lately? Or any new Fairhaven videos? She will just never admit that her family is mainly supported by her YouTube income because it's probably embarrassing for her.

They risk losing their account and ability to earn anything if they do. So maybe thats why she is so evasive. Since it is their main source of income, she knows she cant lose it or they would be up shit creek. Her kids and her are use to being spoiled, living any other way scares her..She would have to put her kids in daycare(which she thinks was created by the devil himself) and get a job. I do not see her doing well in an outside job. Her answering to a boss would be entertaining enough for a video camera everytime. She thinks she always has to be in control and has opinions on everything..she would be fired so freakin quickly. Same with her fertility companies she does things for, probably isnt allowed to give out details. Plus she is just flat out paranoid that someone is going to track her down.

Ive seen other YouTube partners say that YES, they do get paid by YouTube without disclosing HOW MUCH they earn. Very simple. She doesn't want her penny pinching "fans" to know they are the ones supporting her.

Lucy would be SUPER easy to find btw.

See I don't see her as being spoiled.I see it as hanging on by a thread.He is waiter.Most likely makes enough to keep them afloat.Her daughter has no bed,That house is really bare,Etsy clothes could be some freebies.Remember she can show us just what she wants.So of course when she films they are in cute outfits out to lunch.Extra money for dance ect.must come from youtube.And I think she is on Medicaid and just pays out of pocket for homebirth to keep up appearances.And I know she sold all her cloth diapers that supposedly got ruined.

Has anyone notices that in the video of the "Girls Room Tour" She was so paranoid about people seeing the layout of their house, so she closed the door before she turned around. But in the Vday dance video she posted, she was recording while they were all in the girls room WITH THE DOOR WIDE OPEN.

I don't see how Kasie and Lucy are complete opposites as she claims. As others have said, Lucy formula fed, hospital birthed, and disposable diapered Jace, and still uses disposable diapers on all her kids. She hasn't had a c-section like Kasie, but that rarely has anything to do with parenting philosophies and isn't really in the same political ballpark as circumcision since c-sections are not always planned or elective (and who's to say Kasie's were, so what does it matter in this case?). Lucy's just lucky she hasn't had complicated deliveries. She may not always be so lucky.

Lucy tries to make it seem like she must be non-judgmental with everyone because she has ONE close friend who isn't exactly like her. Just because she accepts her friend Kasie in spit of, or maybe because of, those differences, it doesn't mean Lucy isn't discriminatory. She has insinuated numerous times that formula feeding is inferior and speaks so negatively of hospital nurses and her OB yet so highly of her midwife.

I have friends who don't share my religious, political, socio-economical and parenting philosophies, but I don't emphasize those differences when talking about a particular friend. Her repeatedly doing so seems forced and unnatural, and a bit... discriminatory (for lack of a better word). KWIM?

Totally. She's like the person who claims they aren't a bigot and can use the n word because they have a token black friend.

wow that seems to about nail it! As opinionated as she is about things, I find it hard to believe she can just be friends with Kasie and not care about these things.Almost makes it hypocritical considering how much she tries to endorse "her natural parenting ways" Although in the past she has referenced Kasie keeping her kids, so there must be some friendship there since Lucy claims to have trust issues in that area. Maybe Kasie is just too nice to realize all this and agrees to these things. There was that time where we had a reference to them not being friends, maybe that was a point of her catching onto Lucy's crap. I seriously doubt Lucy limits her lying to people online. Must have not been too serious if she is helping to throw a shower for a 4th child now. Oh the wish to be a fly on the wall is definetly creeping up!

I dont think she does. Lucy said they met through a playgroup. I think she is just someone from the area that they are from. She has been in her videos here and there. Not her own youtube though.

she has gone on several dates with Joel before and never mentioned who watched her kids... she always says during vlogs that she couldn't trust anyone with her kids or anything like that though so I don't know who this crazy person would be that she leaves them with... someone who is insane enough to tolerate her crap.

Everytime you watch a youtube video she gets paid plus all her other fairhaven health stuff. She is a youtube partner so making videos is her stay at home job!

I don't get paid by YouTube, I participate in a program called Google Adsense. I also don't get paid for uploading YouTube vids either. Please google Google Adsense and read about it. Also that is NOT my SAHM. There are a LOT of misinformed people when it comes to being a "partner", how it works, etc.

There are many websites dedicated to showing how much money youtubers make, It estimates you make about 90k on youtube alone. Nothing to be ashamed of you are just doing your thing. Its very lucrative to make youtube videos.
