I only started watching these bums around the time they moved into their current house. Can anyone fill me in as to why Bryan and Missy got the master suite back when they lived with her family? Did he parents just have one of the other rooms? I'm assuming this is just another one of those, "keep the printheth happy" things?

Damn it Bryan, just stop eating out everyday and you'll automatically lose a bit of weight!
Same goes for Missy.
If you two won't do it for yourself, then do it for Ollie.
With the eating habits they have now, Ollie might end up an obese child
I feel like we are all invested in Ollie's health and developement on some level.
He's a precious child and I really really want him to have a good life.

I don't find him attractive by any stretch of the imagination, but he does look better without the extra weight on him...and without his mouth hanging open in every shot.Avocado_love wrote:I find him quite cute in that pic.letmetellyou wrote:cats-or-die wrote:

AGREED! My husband and I were both disgusted honest company sponsored them too. You KNOW Missy won't use any of the other stuff they sent minus the diapers and wipes because "she won't like the scent".HelloSweetie1 wrote:
I HATE that they got sponsored by The Honest Company! My son wears their diapers and it costs me a fortune... 3x more than Pampers would at least. We do it because I believe in caring for the environment and using cruelty free products. I spend my hard earned money and this lazy bitch that can't be bothered to wash sippy cups gets free stuff! I just can't....
I feel like Missy would have given more attention to them when she was pregnant with Ollie and still concerned with cloth diapering and "all natural". I don't know what the deal is with her lately, but it think she's seriously messed up.

Long time lurker, etc. etc.
Just wanted to chime in on the money topic from a youtuber's perspective. Those estimates do not seem too high at all, and that's just from their one channel. I'm basing this off my view count and income vs theirs, and their socialblade estimates vs mine. Combine YouTube with music, merch, brand deals, etc, and they are pulling in that 300k at a bare minimum. The one thing I disagree with on this board is that they don't save money, simply because they buy a lot of stuff. With the money they bring in, they can def afford to spend a lot whole still saving a ton. Not trying to defend them at all, but I wanted to throw that info out there. I think the reason they do tons of brand deals, rushed music, merch and all that is to capitalize on their popularity before it runs out. Milking it basically. Based off my experience, you need roughly 1M views a month to make a living of YT, and their stat for the last 30 days is 19M, so they are raking it in for sure.
I can't believe I was finally pulled out the depths of the lurker cave. *crawls back in*

Definately agree with skittlestar. Funny one can daily vlog yet ignore or cut out so much of what happens in it. Alot of it is business. At this point their lives are just scripted and edited nonsense. It is clear that their child is suffering because of their decision to milk it. I think more people in the industry should come out and especially start defending the children at a minimum. The decisions made by this vlogger couple make me cringe. Don't be suprised if the trainwreck occurs and you don't get to see it.

Trying to capitalize on fame before it runs out makes sense, but B&M don't seem to think their fame is fleeting, so that argument doesn't really make sense.
Every YTer I know IRL, and articles I've read all find Social Blade to be very high on their estimates. That's lucky it isn't for you, but others definitely say it's inaccurate. No one knows what B&M make for sure. That said....
Maybe you do because... You sound like Bryan!

Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
Maybe there should be a thread about YT business. There is alot to it.
If you know it won't last forever or that you don't want to daily vlog forever you make your time worth it. Why else would someone put their lives on youtube, sign to a partner and whore the crap out of their "cute baby/toddler". I think in this case the wife would be happier not vlogging but feels stuck. The child is suffering. If they were not getting paid well they would be stupid. Multiple red flags are here on this family for sure. Hopefully it isn't too late to turn it around. The first 5 years of a childs life is so important.
Social blade has glitches. Also there are people that do not know how to take advantage of the possible earning potential or are just signed to really bad partner contracts. Which is why it is an estimate. There are many ways to make revenue and social blade can not and should not stay up to date on every partner contract and deal.

I think it was because they set themselves up (both in that house and the one they very first started the vlogs at) as slightly separate to the main family, with their own living space etc.Refrigerator_Light wrote:I only started watching these bums around the time they moved into their current house. Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
I've always heard Cali is super expensive. I guess based on what I've heard 300k would be upper middle class but not banking. So with their spending level and cost of living I can see 300kbeing their income and them still exceeding it. I know some found their house on zillow. What was the listed rent/month? Plus fullscreen takes a decent percentage...and taxes.

Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
Social Blade definitely isn't accurate. It can range someone's income from 1k-300k. Thats a HUGE leap, and where are we supposed to "decide" B&M sit? Skittlestar made some valid points, but it's slightly off-putting when he/she kept stating they were a YTer, but wouldn't give a name. Thats cool if you are a YTer, and possibly a big one at that, and don't want your name on this site, but you know we aren't all going to believe what you say over that post with little to no factual evidence. (and like someone said earlier, you kind of sounded like Bryan here to defend your $$$$) LOL.
I believe B&M make a good profit on YT - that much is obvious. I believe they're stupid with their money because it's "new money" and it will run out. They went from broke to rich basically overnight and they're loving every second of it.
I personally find that daily vloggers time sizzles out after about 4-5 years. I used to religiously watch The Shaytards, CTFxC, BFvsGF, and The SacconeJoly's - I don't watch any of them now except for the occasional CTFxC vlog...as more time passes, vloggers become less and less interesting and people stop watching.
Luckily for B&M, they have a hoard of 11 year olds. They'll continue watching for a while. But once those kids reach high school, and have more of a social life, they aren't going to spend their weekends watching two middle ages slobs trying to raise their two children.
Ah, I'm done now. LOL that was a big mess of ramble.

There is so much to talk about! Talk about Ollie's weekly "favorites"...what was his favorite food? Toy? Activity? Word? Toddlers change so quickly you could easily make an artsy mommy video that is 5 minutes long that shows something interesting about your kid.hannahbanana wrote:I remember there was a time when they both had about 15 videos out a week. They used up all their good topics for their personal channels so quick that there's nothing to really talk about anymore. If Missy kept up with posting one mommy video a week, I bet she would still have some good things to talk about on her channel.Theirmom wrote:So, I guess even her sponsored box openings don't get their own video on her channel anymore?
So, no more sponsored unboxings, no more baby league, no more bump dates, Bryan gave up on his game reviews and only uses his channel to push his music.
Looks like they're really working at putting all their eggs in one basket by only focusing on the daily vlogs.
make a video showcasing an art project...a stepping stone for Mother's day...painting a pot to plant flowers or herbs in for spring...making homemade finger paints...dying the bathwater...making playdough or putty or cookies or ANYTHING.
there is no effort to do a google search for "fun toddler activities" or "toddler crafts" or "toddler sensory activities" or "toddler outdoor activities" or whatever and then do it with your kid. You can film it then or film on a second try for something Ollie particularly enjoys.
They could make a video about development...or teaching Ollie about his sibling that is on the way...or how to teach a toddler to be gentle with animals...an update about what he learns at swim class. They could make it funny or serious or artsy. That's me brainstorming for 2 minutes....so there's no excuse. They just don't want to. It isn't important like it used to be. And even if they don't have ideas, all they have to do is ask their viewers and they would have lots of ideas in 10 minutes.

Re: DailyGenderDisappointment Part 24
If they still had the same viewers from 1.5 years ago, I'd think that those would be fantastic ideas. However, it's clear that their viewers have changed from mothers to teenagers and kids. At this point, I think they know that there is no point in putting energy into those projects. It's a short-sighted view, but I can see why they've opted out of it.westwuff wrote:There is so much to talk about! Talk about Ollie's weekly "favorites"...what was his favorite food? Toy? Activity?
