I saw the video that she did about Ashley and man I have a lot.

One good thing is I'm so glad that she admitted that she was in the wrong in some parts of her relationship and even though Ashley did some crappy things she was extremely loyal to her.

I had toxic friendships in my life. The latest one ended 5-6 years ago. Won't go into details about the friendship we had and how it went down hill but it ended up us blocking each other.

However I wish that their friendship ended yeaaars ago and didn't go south like it did.

Omg that Ashley drama video. To be transparent I did not watch the entire video - my brain was about to explode about half way in. What grown ass woman with 6 kids has time for this kind of drama. I can absolutely see why their relationship continues and is so dramatic because neither of them can move on. Stephanie is perpetuating this by making yet another video - just block her, don’t talk about, and move on with your life. Who cares? I think they are both equally guilty and need to both shut up, grow up, and stop trying to one up each other with their perspective.

Also, steph...sorry girl. You may say your intention is not to exploit you kids, but you absolutely do. Sure maybe you don’t show sensitive topics like toilet training or fecal smearing butttt I can look up or watch a video about your kids and know their *entire* history, developmental milestones, and all their diagnoses. Seriously. These are grown adults having catfights over social media like a couple of middle schoolers. Block each other and move on. There's a lot we could unpack about this video but I honestly don't care enough to go into it. Did anyone else think her tears at the end seemed fake?

And you're absolutely right, Minpinmom2, her channel does exploit her children. She doesn't share as much as some family vloggers, but she still shares a ton of personal information about her special needs kids, and makes videos about them that are (at times) the sole income for their family. You can't make a video about your child's heart defect with a thumbnail of your child's face and claim you aren't exploiting them. You use them for views, and that's exploitation.

I put the whole video on in the background when I was doing work so I may not have caught everything but it was honestly more mature and self aware than I expected of Stephanie. That being said, it's ridiculous that a 30 something year old woman had to make that video in the first place and it's probably overall going to make things worse. I think the best course of action would have been to just block her on everything and let it be.

I also HEAVILY disagree with her saying she doesn't exploit her kids. Their family's income is almost entirely based on her sharing the medical history of her children, namely her three youngest. I do think she's a lot better than some youtubers but the underlying fact is that only Danielle and Lonnie Jr can really give informed consent to be in videos. Noah and Lex might understand what YouTube is but at their ages (and with Noah's intellectually disability) it's really hard to grasp how many people 142 thousand subscribers is. It's one thing to make sit down videos talking about general tips and tricks for children with autism but she literally makes videos solely focused on updating her subscribers on her kid's specific medical history and developmental delays.

I assume they must get government money for their special needs kids because I really don't get it.

Also why are they visiting people again? They and Emily from It's our wonderful life are all idiots. They don't take COVID seriously. I just feeling like yelling at her and said why are y'all visiting folks during the pandemic and none of you guys aren't vaccinated yet especially now that Lex and Danielle are High risk they will be the ones that probably will suffer some complications of COVID.

Also I'm going to change my mind about Stephanie not exploiting their kids and say yes I agree. She is exploiting her kids and Emily from It's our wonderful life is exploiting her kids especially Griffin and Sawyer who can't really consent.( Well both parties kids can't consent except maybe Noah, Lonnie Jr and Danielle)

I get the feeling that’s how things work in their house. Stephanie always claims the teenagers help but I have a hard time believing that. In one of her more recent videos she was explaining how it took her like 8 or 9 HOURS, yes...hours, to clean her kitchen because of all the phone calls and therapy, etc. I understand that some of that you have to be present for, but you can’t put your phone away and devote an hour to clean your kitchen?! We are a family of 5 and run the dishwasher at least twice a day - but I also love to cook, so maybe we make more dishes because of that?! I can’t imagine dishes as a family of 8 - even more reason to prioritize your housework It always just seems so chaotic and disorganized.

All I’m saying is if she put as much energy into housework as she does live streaming she might not live in such a messy house?

I don't have a problem with Stephanie. The only thing I don't get is why she's so inconsistent with therapies for her kids. She seems to stop and start all the time and is never consistent. Why not send them to an ABA center? It would be so much easier to drop them off the older two and have ABA at home for Penelope if she's concerned about leaving her littlest all day.

My son has ASD and she seems to be all over the place in terms of treatment. She never makes any sense to me.

It really rubbed me the wrong way how in Lex's heart video she talked about COVID and not keeping him in a bubble. Nobody wants you to keep him in a bubble for the rest of his life but for the next couple of months to a year until vaccinations help get the virus under control, you should absolutely be limiting the amount of people you see especially since they already see therapists when you have a kid with heart problems and a disease known to have lasting effects on the heart.

Stephanie has spoken about her speech issues a fair few times. She had severe pronunciation issues as a child, and still struggles with the some sounds. Let's just be grateful that her older kids haven't picked it up. For rill.
