Can I be dumb for a second? Lol, is this true? Are their windows really that strong? Especially in Utah? Cuz where I live, we have much colder weather and idk if windows are made stronger for the weather.

Nope. Not true at all. Yes you might have double or triple pane windows to keep the cold out but they aren’t hurricane windows or something that is designed not to break. They are just glass. And they’ll definitely break. Lived in Utah the majority of my life. We don’t get many tornados (and no big tornados) and no hurricanes here so there’s no reason for builders to put in strong glass like that here. I’d bet on a new house they are double pane but cheap grade unless you pay more. I just replaced my windows with triple pane for better efficiency. It wasn’t cheap. They way the Gardner’s spent money on “statement” items I doubt they were worried about efficiency. It seemed to be all about looks.

I couldn’t confirm about the glass but this whole comment on their page hurt my eyes and my brain. No one proofreads anymore!

My house is 8 years old. We don’t live in Utah but I live where there’s extreme heat. Builders don’t put in expensive grade windows unless you pay more for them. Our windows are cheap builders grade and I’m sure the Gardner’s are too.

Plus, they admitted that they built the house for looks, not function. I am sure that if it came down to the "statement entry" or special shatterproof glass, the statement entry won.

There's some silly things about it-- the waste of space in the "statement entry", the "appliance bar" in the pantry, and the kitchen island is too close to the oven (if memory serves me) so you can't open it all the way if anyone is sitting on that side. They have that piano room, but no playroom for the girls. And there is no room in their bedrooms to play. The basement isn't finished, so it's not safe for the girls to play down there. The French doors to Ashley's office aren't very functional, because the girls are always standing outside the locked office door getting hand prints all over. They actually did say when they were talking about design that they chose looks over function.

Having read some of her posts in response to recent praise, I am completely convinced she has some kind of personality disorder.
No one I know talks about themselves the way she does. She has a completely exaggerated perception of herself - an overinflated ego. She’s completely delusional. It’s bizarre, immature and to ge honest, more than a little bit dangerous.

This bitch, Ashley Gardner, has no business saying anything about "mom guilt". Its all for show for her undying KADs. None of what she said is true for her. Oh mom guilt is a real thing but NOT for Ashley Gardner ever.

I wanted to add regarding the locked bathroom at night: what do they think they are going to do when the girls hit puberty and get their period? Have them bleed all over the place instead of being able to use the bathroom? It's hard enough for ONE girl let alone FOUR. Geez, these people come up with the most ridiculous excuses. Just asked my hubby about windows. He said that there are single, double and triple thickness windows that you can buy. But it’s your choice what kind you would want. We are replacing ours slowly because I have 32 windows in my house and it would cost me a fortune all at once. Hubby had bought double thick for ours. I still think a child thrown against them could shatter them.

Here its single or double glazing. You can also get safety glass. Safety glass still shatters, but isn’t supposed to cut? Idk, id say they have the cheapest out there. They are hardly going to spend more for safety!!

That's the thing about "mom guilt". People who really have "mom guilt" (only in quotes because of Ashley) don't go around blowing their own horn as much as she does. They don't make defensive posts on social media about what an "amazing mom" they are. They doubt themselves. Most moms doubt themselves. When my kids were little, every day I worried about the choices I made. I didn't go around talking about what a great mom I was for everyone to hear.
It's like Lori Loughlin telling herself and everyone in earshot that she was "only doing what was best" for her daughters. No. Teaching your kids that rules don't apply to them, and that if they throw enough money at it, they can do whatever they want whether or not they're qualified, is not what's best. Softening every blow doesn't prepare them for the world. And this wench throwing money at toys and matching clothes for her kids instead of actually nurturing them and making them feel loved and important as individuals, is going to bite her in the ass hard someday.

I’m so tired of Ashley and Ty vlogging things that we don’t need to see.

Granted we see 10 minutes of their lives.we see bits of during the day, of course when they go eat n then bedtime...I feel like nothing is private anymore and I think they are more concern about getting views than anything.

I often wonder if they didn’t do that reality show, rattled, they wouldn’t be the way they are and the children will be more disciplined.

And I’m tired of seeing those kids on furnitures n running around in a store or restaurants, getting gifts every time they leave town, the kids always getting hurt, telling the girls to say the things like, “ say I see you later. Say subscribe.” And they laugh at their kids when they can not talk right,

Like I said, fame went to their heads. Reality tv show screwed them up big time!
