Wouldn’t Alex (and Phil, but clearly no one listens to him) have to consent for this to happen? I doubt she would, unless the team was very firm, or they said ‘she will die if she doesn’t’, and said that in front of Phil, who might finally grow some balls/a brain at that point. I’m also sensing some concern about what’s happening at home from the cardiologist, because of the apnea monitor. It seems like they know something’s up.

Quite often she posts stuff with the caption ‘wait for it’ and I’m like ‘What am I meant to be looking at?’. I have a feeling I’d die of boredom after 4 minutes of conversation with these two ...roxblake75 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 5:08 pm I didn’t even laugh watching though. How were people crying laughing? I guarantee doctors see straight through Alex, they see a million uncooperative parents every year. They're likely almost as tired of her as we areLucyLucyAppleJuicy wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 11:28 pmWouldn’t Alex (and Phil, but clearly no one listens to him) have to consent for this to happen? 4 month old baby not needing head support means situations in where she is otherwise held safely and securely.PinkMoscato wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 11:04 amCassidy is old enough to not necessarily need head support anymore... I also really wouldn’t call that “throwing her around the bed”spicy_dreams wrote:Y'all see Alex's new ig post? The video of Phil throwing Cassidy around on the bed, not supporting her head. They are so careless with her! She's still so tiny and fragile. The comments are crazy too. 95% insane fans trying to win the prize for "who loves their family the most", 5% people calling them out. Somebody says he needs to support her head and be careful, some bitch replies with some bullshit about how "Alex is a NICU nurse, I think she knows what's best for Cassidy." Like what the fuck lol. They're literally telling him to support her head because he's being reckless with a tiny sick baby. P&A's following is like a cult.
No, it wasn’t the most gentle movement, but it’s not like he’s just tossing her across the mattress.
That throw, even though she wouldn't need head support otherwise, is just too much for baby to handle without head support. I felt really uncomfortable watching it.

Because you need a legitimate reason to admit anyone to the hospital if you want insurance to cover it and Cassidy isn’t “there” yet. Her current state is part of an expected course of heart failure. Sounds like she isn’t actively losing weight at this point and if she is, the answer is more immediate surgery (aka fix the core issue), not spending a week trying get her to gain a few ounces which would likely just cause fluid overload and have little meaningful impact on the tissues of her heart growing. I don’t understand the idea of her “sabotaging” weight gain to rush the surgery? She clearly isn’t looking forward to it. Moving it up unfortunately means Cassidy is in a more critical spot but it’s also a good thing, after recovering from surgery, she should be able to start putting on weight much easier when her heart isn’t working in overtime.Haulnarse wrote:I swear she’s sabotaging cassidys weight gain on purpose to rush surgery. Why wont the doctors admit her to chunk her up??
To the other poster, the apnea monitor is because they’re switching to continuous night feeds. There’s a higher risk of aspiration for a medically fragile baby. That will keep an eye on her as no reasonable person could be expected to watch a baby for 12 hour hours during a feed to make sure all is going well.

You cant say alex is doing everything she can for cassidy though?Tiger27 wrote:Because you need a legitimate reason to admit anyone to the hospital if you want insurance to cover it and Cassidy isn’t “there” yet. She didn’t give formula a chance, she fortified her breastmilk for all of two seconds before changing the feeding “protocol” herself with no input from the medical team. She fed her sick newborn OILS! She continued to attempt to breastfeed and bottle feed despite cassidy struggling and using all her energy to do so. Cassidy would have used far more energy output vs what she was being fed for that first month home. She withheld reflux medications and fortification because it wasnt “necessary”’YET. She continues to run cassidys feeds while she is laying down, all the while complaining about her reflux and vomiting. Alex always knows best, alex is a nicu nurse, alex thinks only about alex.
That baby should have been on formula full time, through the ng tube, with whatever medication is necessary. She should be held or sat upright while a feed runs and not yelled at for pulling the (poorly placed and taped) ng tube out.
I just dont understand wanting to do the VERY best for your children that you can. Unicorn boobs be damned, chunk that baby up with formula, give her the very best chance at surgery.
They dropped what $100k? maybe more? to get pregnant, you’d think they’d be doing whatever they could to protect that “investment”.

Imagine the worst happens, God forbid. Would she monetize the story? Like the way she did with her sister? Probably!

Ugh, her latest stories about her disturbed night’s sleep. WTF does she think a night with an exclusively breast fed baby is like?
And what’s ‘all the stuff on her plate’? Yes, I understand she has a critically ill child, and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. But what else does she have on her plate? ‘Homeschooling’ (aka force feeding 2 girls the bible) through choice, a garden they do nothing with and a few chickens. No job (for either of them), no commute, nothing else.

So true. She is damn lucky to have Phil home 24/7, they obviously have a lot of help and support from family, and she has eff all to do all day other than memorialise every millimetre of expressed breast milk.LucyLucyAppleJuicy wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 1:28 pm Ugh, her latest stories about her disturbed night’s sleep. All her complaining and detailing being woken up at night just further enforces that she thinks she’s the only human to have ever done this before & the rest of us are clueless. Bitch please, I’m a single mum of seven, you wouldn’t last a day in my shoes

As an IVF mama, I'll never understand not doing all you can for the health of your rainbow baby.
But, people like Alex exist unfortunately. I had to call CPS on another IVF mama in my community for locking her child in the house alone at 6 months while the rest of the family sought other places to sleep because she's couldn't handle him crying at night. She literally left her 6 month old home alone and slept somewhere else.

Just saw Alex’s IG Story. “New vlog is out! There’s a flashback and you can see my huge pregnant belly.”
Girl, we don’t need to see that again. We’re not Phil!
It’s an interesting dynamic they have. I just realized. Phil has a fetish for pregnant Alex. And Alex has a fetish for breastmilk. They were made for each other.

I don’t think so, Tim.

That throwback vlog makes me so sad. They were so focused on Alex’s pregnancy and baby Cassidy that they didn’t post anything about the girls’ birthdays until now. And they’ve had HOW many videos since then??
Also I have another theory on Alex’s breast milk obsession:
She got so fat during pregnancy. Not just normal pregnancy weight- we all saw her eating so bad for months. The throwback to her was a reminder of how huge she let herself get. Breastfeeding burns calories- a lot of them- to lose weight. I bet part of why she’s so excited about it is because she sees this as the way to get her old body back

Re: Phil and Alex: Struggling With Maternity After Laboring For Eternity | Part 10
Hi, new to this thread. I’ve actually been following Phil and Alex for a long time and as a mama of a g-tube fed baby I think I’ve hit my limit about a few things with her.
G-TUBE AND NG TUBES ARE NOT HORRIBLE OF TERRIFYING OR SOMETHING TO BE LOOKED DOWN ABOUT. There is a difference between spreading awareness and thinking it’s only for lazy babies and such a annoying thing. As a NICU nurse she’s so negative about something she knows babies need but her precious mIrAcLe child? Nope, it’s such a hindrance apparently.
If I were her knowing how much pain NGs could be and that Cassidy is gonna be on medication for quite awhile along with needing the extra calories and intake I’d look into seeing if they could dual surgery for a g-tube while they do the heart surgery. My son got his while having major bowel surgery and it saved us an extra surgery and him going under anesthesia again which can be so harmful at such a young age.
The last thing is now that she’s had a child from her own body she’s acting like a first time mom... She’s talking like “oh parenting so rough huh, look at my greasy mom hair, the late nights and perfect little infant baby” and it’s like.... Woman you raised two other beautiful baby girls that you are so incredibly blessed to have. Why the heck are you writing off their infant days and painting these as such a first time miracle thing?????
TLDR;; Why is a NICU nurse painting NG/G-TUBES as a horrible thing when they are vital to babies. Why is is pretending Cassidy is her first child and glorifying her every second over her two beautiful daughters.

That seat thing they have her in now looks a trillion times more comfortable for a baby her age than that damn high chair
