Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 17
Yes. Missy being a know it all is actually one of the things that drove me to dislike her first, before Bryan. Especially her whole "crunchy mom" act, like she's this amazing mother for cloth diapering for a few months and making her own baby food for two weeks. I especially couldn't stand her self-righteous approach to breaat feeding like she was the only mother who ever did it. Also her spoiled princess attitude.HelloSweetie1 wrote:Also, does it drive anyone else crazy that Missy always acts like such a know-it-all when she's actually pretty clueless? There's no hope for Ollie's intelligence.
Him trying to read was cute, but I would be concerned about how much he mumbles. His lips don't even move.
Oh, and every time they vlog Missy playing with Ollie she looks at herself in the camera as much as she looks at him. It's clear she isn't in the moment. Sad the playing is probably only for show.

I wanted to say the same thing about Oliver's mumbling! I too noticed his lips don't move. I don't know how they ever expect him to pronounce words properly if they don't teach him.
And don't get me started on the Cambodia thing. Urg.

Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 17
I was curious so I checked out the charity they raised funds for. Apparently there is a largeer, more global, "Water FOR Life Charity" and the one B&M support called "Water OF Life". It's much smaller, and mentions Jesus a lot. I wonder how many people checked out the charity and ended up reading about the wrong one....

I hope Cambodia opens Bryans eyes. Going to a developing country is something very different. B&M don't seem very worldly, educated or even interested in any other country that isn't "real". I went to Bali last May and my heart broke seeing all the homeless. People make very very little money. I learned a lot about culture and how lucky I really am. Hope Cambodia does the same for Bryan.

i thought it was pretty obvious that missy's aunt was a christian missionary. then again, maybe i just read about fundies too much.HelloSweetie1 wrote:I was curious so I checked out the charity they raised funds for. Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 17
I was watching the Nive Nulls today and Britt always takes her kids out to eat or to the library or other activities. And she does it alone. I could never see Missy being able to do that with two kids, she doesn't even do that with Ollie. Austin and Britt clearly love and cherish their kids, they full time vlog, so they use that to their advantage to take care of and spend time with their kids. B and M are so lazy and never do anything but shop and eat. I know they love Ollie, but they don't appreciate him.

I love Bryan went on a rant about how much he's going to miss the food, before he even said a word about missing his wife and kid.....

I literally said the same exact thing as I was watching the vlog today.Princess605 wrote:I love Bryan went on a rant about how much he's going to miss the food, before he even said a word about missing his wife and kid.....

I hate how he does the speeches. They are just for the end of the year montage. We all know he is going to whine about how hot it is, how the food sucks and about every little thing. All while going on about how much it's changed him then maybe two weeks later he will be back to being his lazy ass hole self.

Ahahahahaha
I've seen so many people say stuff about Jersey Mikes and I don't watch the vlogs anymore so I just thought 'meh'
Watching the latest one
"I'm going to miss the food sooo much so I'm off to JERSEY MIKES!!" of course!
And Missy going on and on about how Bryan NEEDS lots and lots (and lots and lots and lots and lots) of snacks for his plane ride. Also, some for after the plane ride.
Cultural eating right there Bryan.

Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 17
Bryan tweeted the other night how he's so happy because he asked missys cousin about how's the wifi over where he's planning to stay at, and apparently it's fast.

Thank God, I was so worried about having to go a week without reading his insightful Tweetshannahbanana wrote:Bryan tweeted the other night how he's so happy because he asked missys cousin about how's the wifi over where he's planning to stay at, and apparently it's fast.

Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 17
He is so worried about his dang hair saying the humidity over there is "100%" as he keeps saying... He doesn't check the weather much because it says its like 54% tomorrow. lol
He is so dumb. And of course, they will be staying somewhere with fast wifi. There is no way he could last in some of the parts they will be visiting.

Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 17
I figured it would be Christian based, but not really so small and missiony. I hope they are helping people as much as spreading word. I know Missy's family is supposed to be religious, but they just don't seem to have passed much of the empathy, thankfulness and giving spirit on to Missy. I wonder what her family will think of B on w he goes to Cambodia and focuses more in himself than the cause.actuallydear wrote:i thought it was pretty obvious that missy's aunt was a christian missionary. then again, maybe i just read about fundies too much.HelloSweetie1 wrote:I was curious so I checked out the charity they raised funds for. If he does become enlightened, I don't see it lasting long because I really can't see spoiled Missy changing. She really should have been the one telling him to suck it up, not fussing over baby not having enough snacks.

Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 17
His snacks were fairly ridicules. Considering this charity/church group is probably going to welcome him with open arms finding food isn't a real worry. If he were truly worried about hunger you'd think he'd get protein bars not sugar filled nutragrain bars. It's amusing he's (or Missy) so worried about water. I guess they don't fully believe in the charity they support. Not that I expect less but yeah...
Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 17
If this trip doesn't change him (I doubt it will) then I'm not sure what would. Its so sad, he has an amazing opportunity to change lives there and help, but all he'll do is complain about the heat, the wifi and the food. I bet he'll barely mention Missy and Ollie and talk more about the food like today's vlog. I can't even imagine how awkward he'll be with the locals.

Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 17
He's going to be gone for like a week right? He's so emotional about missing food for a week?! He's going to eat there, right?
Bryan seems like the type of person who always sweaty. Like if he hugged you it was be gross and sweaty, or if you sat in a plastic chair after him it would be all warm and sweaty.

Only a week?? Jesus, you'd think he was leaving for months.Ambrosia wrote:He's going to be gone for like a week right? He's so emotional about missing food for a week?! He's going to eat there, right?

Also those vitamin waters. He probably thinks they're really good for you cause they say vitamin on them, but there's still a ton of sugar in those. If he were really concerned about getting adequate vitamin intake, he could, y'know, just buy vitamins?gwsb wrote:His snacks were fairly ridicules. Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 17
How does he get vitamins and nutrients when he's at home? It's not like he's a health nut! If anything the food in Cambodia might actually be less processed and healthy since he'll have someone else cooking it.
