I just thought he looked so sad. Kinda defeated.

Sam is definitely my YT crush. He always looks good to me hahaha.
But yeah, its sad trying to analyze that picture. I get the vibe that it was night time for some reason and he just looks tired and so stressed out like its been bothering him for a while. Also due to the fact that it was taken at his parents house. He was away on his little trip and he couldn't wait til he got home to try and fix it.
I just watched Mel trippys vlog of the wedding.
Seems like t&h were talking to both shay and Colette and one point.
Also seen jenn and Colette dancing pretty much so seems like there's no hard feelings there at all.
Never seen H & J together or talk ( throughout that vlog)
Sam and jenn seems like such great parents and all round people

It's interesting that you mention that they are college graduates because it makes me realize that they only family vloggers I like are college graduates. Must be a maturity thing. But I do agree overall. YouTube is a very risky business. My mom is a fourth grade teacher and over the last few years many of her students have said they want to be YouTubers "when they grow up." It's sad because these kids see all the successful vloggers and see it as a real career choice for the future even though it's practically impossible to make any money at all let alone a decent living from it

Cullen and Katie even were asked to speak at a "Career Day" because a bunch of kids want to be YouTubers. They have no clue how few really make it like Daily Bumps, etc. It just looks like a fun, "easy" way to make a whole bunch of money and not really have to work.

I have commented on Katie and Cullen with the list of those who might wish to look at occupations outside of YouTube. I agree, it looks like easy money for both parents to remain home. But structure a day, it is not and you see many just become lazy, mismanage time and now you can add two YouTubers actually arguing over a gossip board. I also think YouTube friendships can be basically be superficial and they look at it with what they can get out of it as it relates to their channel.
Now to the message Sam sent to a board member. I am looking at it as an outsider. Sam should have ignored this so called friend's aggressive comments when he saw him and simply stated I didn't do this. It is utterly ridiculous that a YouTuber would care what is said on this board. Sam should have counted his blessing seeing their friendship end and he was not part of Shay Carl's life when it came crashing down. It all seems very high school...
Now I think it is going to be even more awkward because we all can piece it together. Sam knows we know. Tyler and Hailee know we know. T and H also know that we think they are giant pretentious douchebags who are a waste of the air that they breath. <----That is the best part though.

In the end, did everyone lose their job with Shay? I saw the wedding vlog and Colette...it has to incredibly hard to attend this wedding.
I met Sam and Jenn at playlist and they are totally just as nice as they seem. Didn't meet Tyler or Haylee but they do definitely seem like stuck up assholes. Watching Samika's vlog from the wedding and then Daehan's you can tell it was so awkward having them seated all together like that. It seemed like T&H ignored Sam and Jenn. Tyler's dead pan face when daehan was dancing was such a dick move too. I think it's very telling that Sam didn't vlog T&H or Shay/Colette on purpose.
I feel like Sam and Jenn are YTers with such good hearts that people take advantage of them all the time. E&J rarely talk to them, but had no problem leaving Jackson with them when they had Cal. Sam gave Jared a game and lent him a game system and Jared couldn't vlog it. Actually, I wonder if Jared is sure to not vlog Sam because he's trying to make a good impression with T&H, Shay, etc...
Makes me even sadder that Jenn didn't get invited to Hawaii if she's lost her closest friend. There has to be knowledge of the rift out in the YT community. If this is the way YTers treat eachother, then Sam and Jenn are too good for the business.

I think they are a nice couple too. They are too good for this business like you said and this is one thing that is surprising is the nicest YouTubers are the ones that are treated poorly. Life isn't fair, but remember what goes around comes around and I think the future may show those like Jared, will see viewers recognize them for who they really are.
Just discussing with my daughter how YouTubers use their kids crying in the thumbnails, and how exploitative it is, and annoying. It's like their first impulse when their child is hurt or scared is to grab the camera instead of comforting their child. And that's messed up. Jeff, Bryan Lanning's "assistant" just used his daughter crying because her sister bonked her nose giving her a hug. She's crying, and he just stands there filming her. Sam and Jenn don't do that. They may film a kid crying, but one of them comforts the child. They don't just stand there filming, describing the injury, while their child sobs.
I hope they are able to keep things going. I just like them so much.

They seem to be online only again now. The store in logan is closed and shays brother that was mainly running it moved back to idaho
The post that Sam sent confirms everything I thought about him. He's kind, genuine, loyal... etc. (Sorry Tyler, am I being too pro samika for you??) I feel bad he had to make an account on here to prove it wasn't him. Tyler and Haylee must have really freaked out on him if he felt he had to go that far for proof. Poor guy!
I reiterate what everyone else here says, I wish they weren't hurting but I think they've learned a valuable lesson about YouTube friends over the past year. I think moving house will be the best thing they ever do (except moving away from Trish, Tati, Tau and Ava will break my heart!)

And j house vlogs!

Doing a collab with JHouse would be great! Maybe get them some like minded subscribers. The kids that came from Shaytards/ aren't interested in a nice normal family.
I agree! A JHouse collab would be fun. They are also both LDS families. I first saw JHouse a few years ago and it didn't seem like their channel was going very well, but now they have exploded! I wonder how that happened? It is very strange how some vloggers take off and others don't. I'll never understand how annoying DBs gained ANY subscribers!!
I feel like Sam and Jenn have been a bit shunned by some of the other Utah family vloggers. Could it be that they both have college degrees and seemed more educated/mature? I would guess that's why Ellie and Jenn aren't closer friends.
