DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
I'm all for for getting dogs trained, but the lumps didn't participate at ALL in their training. It's like they sent them off so they wouldn't have to take care of Luna and Karma. Sad seeing these youtubers sending their problems off, like Ellie did to Jackson. I bet you anything Mithy will do the same to Finn.
Within a couple months I can see the lumps getting rid of Luna because "attachment" issues. They barely spent a consecutive month with Luna since they got her. Which is sad because she deserved with a loving family from the beginning (like every pet).

Would you let a toddler roam unsupervised? Because it really is just as foolhardy to let an adolescent dog roam free as it is for a toddler.
Because until they're trained, they should always be supervised. And you can't ALWAYS directly supervise a puppy. If I'm bathing the 3 year old, I'm not going to bring a 70lb dog into the bathroom with us. He goes into the crate until after bath time.
If you're there to tell him to stop, then he's being supervised. My dog will undoubtedly find something to do that I wouldn't want him to but I'm in the house with him and simply tell him to stop/leave it/don't do that, etc and he'll stop.
Dogs shouldn't have free reign in a house. You can't correct behaviour after the fact. You can't take a shoe they chewed in another room, and try to correct that behaviour several hours later. They don't understand delayed discipline.
Obviously the bumps are going to abuse the crate. Or stop using it all together and let Luna develop poor habits. But just because they're a perfect example of how not to use a crate doesn't negate the importance of crating.

I'm worried for the boys. And after watching the dog video all I could think about is how they may send their boys to boarding school so they don't have to worry about raising them or helping them with homework.. I can just see missy that excited to see her boys come home for the holidays...tintin15 wrote:People are also complaining about the spending, not just because it's to show off, but also because it's stupid. They are setting themselves up to be homeless and have to sell all their stuff, because this income isn't forever. Is that our problem? No. But i, personally, worry for the boys. They're kids. They shouldn't have to live in Mimi and Papa's guest bedroom with hardly anything let alone money for college or whatever else, all because mommy and Dada were too busy spending what money they had on useless shit.

Why not change the birthday vlog about Ziri? Add a disclaimer that the cat isn't with then anymore.. its apparent not everyone follows the vlog daily, or in order
Finn climbing the cushions and peaking into the window was too freaking' cute @ 9:41 when missy talks about paying attention to the dogs lol

I'm looking through the comments on their vlog. So much negativity! But someone named Landa is commenting back to everyone. One person said they want to see more of Finn because they only show Ollie, Landa comes in saying that Finn isn't their only child!!! Finn is only a baby he doesn't do anything interesting Ollie can actually talk!!!! Someone says it was mean of them to give away Ollie's birthday present (Zuri), Landa comes in saying that it's not like they hated her!!! They basically saved her life!!! (how, Landa? HOW?)

Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
Right, that's my point. If you're home then you can be supervising your dog? At least be in hearing distance and always know what they're doing. Unless you live in a mansion. Trust me, I know how useful the crate is but I just don't know why anyone would be at home and put their dog in it for an extended amount of time while they're home.Theirmom wrote:sarahelizabeth_1 wrote: ...I don't understand why you would put a dog in a crate when you're home?

Wow whoever said their video is filled with tons of negative comments is right! Lots of people were commenting on them being gone so long, why are they wearing muzzles, and Luna being crated all the time. There are also people asking where Zuri is and how the tadpoles are doing. Lol

Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
I saw that too! I was also perplexed by the "they basically saved her life" as well. She wasn't a shelter cat. She cost them probably over $500. She wasn't in danger of being euthanized, ffs. I had to bite my tongue not to comment back on that.tintin15 wrote:I'm looking through the comments on their vlog. So much negativity! But someone named Landa is commenting back to everyone. Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
Ellie shows a strong favouritism for Calvin and has a tendency to openly criticism Jackson. Like a true Narcissist, there is a clear scapegoat child and a golden child. While Calvin can screech, shout and run around all he wants, Jackson is expected to do as he's told and never say no. We don't see it in the vlogs, but apparently 3 year old Jackson is "mean" to Ellie (according to her).tintin15 wrote:I don't really follow Ellie and Jared because I can't stand them, so can you tell me what Ellie did with Jackson??heymallie wrote:I'm all for for getting dogs trained, but the lumps didn't participate at ALL in their training. Anyway, a month or so ago, Ellie filmed a vlog about getting Jackson ready for school "in the fall." The next vlog Ellie is crying because Jackson was just so mean to her and she doesn't know why he hates her. (This child is very mild mannered and seeet in vlogs). Then, two days later and in the middle of a new month and week, he's suddenly thrown in "preschool" (could be Daycare, no one knows because E&J are known to lie) where he goes a few days a week and Ellie gets a break from his "meanness" and gets to focus on just Calvin and TTC. Most of us think school is great for Jackson because he gets a break from Ellie's high standards, but we've seen she had no problem interfering and giving unnecessary punishments if she feels he isn't behaving perfectly. I hope I explained it right, and this isn't a commentary against preschool or daycare, but it was pretty evident Ellie reached a point where she put Jackson in school abruptly and with little warning, so she could get a break from him. None of the months of prep she talked about doing.... just sent him off.
And Jared knows to follow suit.
Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
Yes HS! I remember it happening that way too. She sent him to Bonnie's that day too and in two days he was in preschool. 100% agree with you on your post.
I pray this doesn't happen to Finn. I will be so mad at B+M especially if Ollie is at home and Finn conveniently somewhere else on a daily basis.

Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
The comments are hilarious. They're either totally ass-kissing and "Oh, you did the right thing training your dogs", or "You all are so mean sending them away!" I have no problem with them training the dogs. I have a problem with them sending them away and expecting them to come back perfectly behaved with no effort on their parts. Especially with a puppy. They've missed a huge chunk of Luna's puppyhood! Someone actually commented that they shouldn't have gotten an Aussie and that they should have researched and gotten a more sedentary breed. A LOT of comments seem to have been deleted, because there are responses that are obviously directed at comments that aren't there anymore. And apparently, the Lumps responded to someone, "defensively", but that's not there either.
Loving all the questions about the tadpoles. Bet they're scurrying trying to catch some more so they can show them. You know those tadpoles are dead. They shouldn't have kept them in the first place. Maybe catch them and then let them go, but keeping them, especially when they were going on an extended trip, was stupid.
Loving the backlash. So much schadenfreude!

Right! I forgot he was sent to Bonnie's that day too. Ridiculous the two of them can't handle their toddler, so the only solution is to send him to Bonnie's house (who somehow seems to manage him just fine along with her own 4 kids).heymallie wrote:Yes HS! If anyone here doubts the favortism and thinks we are just nitpicking, they can check out Ellie's IG where there are far more Calvin pics than Jackson.

Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
I can absolutely see Missy sending Finn off to Maddie's house, or to be with Mimi, or finding some early "preschool" to put Finn in, especially if she gets pregnant. I had my son in a program when he was 1, but my husband was deployed and I had a special needs daughter too. It was just 3 days a week in the morning, but it helped. There's nothing _wrong_ with putting your kids in an educational environment, (and with the lack of effort they've put into Ollie's learning, it would be great for Finn) but Missy would do it just to not have to deal with him. And that's not OK.

Missy pigging out on the rice krispie treats was hilarious - she didn't want Bryan to film her and he kept doing it hahahaha she only does things she finds on pinterest - way to be original Missy! For someone who doesn't have anything else to do and is always on the phone, you would think she would try to be a little creative for once!
