This might be a really petty complaint/observation, but how many times does Savannah need a new comforter?? I’m not blaming the child, as I think her mom puts ideas in her head for new “content”. I understand her wanting to get rid of the JoJo one, but seriously what a waste of money. Ashley’s videos are so boring anymore. I need to just quit watching them.

I think Savy is going to have a hard time when she finally is able to go out into the real world, because of her mom.
Ashley was just talking in a video last week about saving money by reusing things you already have in your home but then this video she is going out to get her daughter a new comforter and lamp because Savy just had the itch to switch Ashley is so transparent. Why do you do what a NINE year old tells you to do? who is the parent here! Ashley is not a momma/wife/person that is inspirational and who should be giving advise to anyone.

Ashley, we know you are reading here so stop staging your home, we are not dumb like your kool aid followers are, stop filming just because videos, film actual videos that are real and have depth

I didn't watch and won't watch, but if she said her daughter wanted to change up her room, Ashley is once again lying. She is just searching for more boring staged content.

If I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt and assume her daughter did want to change things up- what a horrible example of wastefulness! This child has had more comforters in her life on YT than I have in the last 15 years. Maybe Ashely just buys new ones instead of washing them?

That is not a behind the scenes - that is a cry for attention. Behind the scenes would not be a staged photo. Behind the scenes shows the reality, not the best photo of 100. Being real is not saying 'I pretend to have it all together but really I am a mess'; being real is showing when you are a mess and not trying to pretend everything is okay. There’s nothing in DR that says you can’t increase your spending as you increase your income, especially once you are past BS 3. I don’t think her spending habits are anti-Dave unless they are going into debt for it.

That being said, they said in a Q&A that they aren’t saving for Savannah’s college yet. I side eye that big time, especially now that they have apparently more than doubled their income (since Ashley just had to let everyone know that she went from earning basically 0 to earning more than her husband thanks to YouTube). Why would you want to set your child up for exorbitant student loans if you could afford to save now and one day help them pay for the ever rising cost of college tuition???

From since forever, every paycheck from both of ours, we put $100 (each) a week into a special savings account, and when only my daughter decided to go to college, the money was there to pay the full tuition for her so that she wouldn't have school debt because I learned the hard way, it took me forever to pay off my student loans for nursing school. That money came out before anything and we didn't miss it because we never budgeted that money into anything, it went directly into that account. That money helped her pay for college and buy her a decent car to get there. If they are all about saving money, I don't understand why they haven't started saving for her college NOW while she is young! My husband and I both have a lil nest egg saved that we don't put in the bank, When I break a $100 bill, I will take $20 and put it up, If I break a $20 bill, I will put $10 up (I seem to break alot of bills..lol) If I get change back, I will put the $1.00 bills up and about every two weeks I will take all of my quarters out of my cubbyhole in my car and out of my purse and put them up as well. I get change and it either goes in the bottom of my purse or that cubbyhole. Quarters add up quick and by Nov (black Friday), I have a good bit of Christmas money.
